OfoIgbo: How are we sure this is not a system created by Tinubu and APC to confuse issues? On the day of the election the system will "'develop a glitch', thus stranding voters and preventing people from knowing the real vote counts while Tinubu rigs with INEC.
I will be more comfortable with a system created by, or approved of by the official Obidient Movement or Peter Obi himself.
It is approved by the Obidients. But anybody and everybody can use it.
Truths9ja: good one. Test run it this year and next year too. At least you will observe it's lapses. And this app can collate results as its been collated from the various polling units.
It is also designed to function as an “Instant Electronic Collation System.”
The App is supposed to be showing both the electronically-collated results side-by-side with the collations of INEC..
Truths9ja: great initiative here. Test run the app in this year Anambra State governorship election.
It will be used in Anambra, Ekiti, Osun, and all the other elections such as Local Council Elections in the FCT, and even in all the Bye-Elections of any sort..
Therefore, before 2027, the App will be far better than it is today on its first day of going Live Online.
I just want to use this opportunity to ask this question..
Are you kind-of forcing commenters to continue saying things, even when they don't have much to say.??
((..I know you're trying to avoid the spamming of the first page with irrelevant one-word comments.. But then, 40 Characters is somehow too long. 20 Characters is Okay..))
Ayo8: Unless access is limited to only a few trusted agents, rogues will get it jammed with false data to discredit the authenticity of collated results.
Anybody can see the data that was uploaded to the App. That means, everybody can view it.
But not everybody can input data into it.
It's only the OBSERVERS that can input data. And there is only a maximum of one observer per Polling-Unit..
Then,, there are VOLUNTEERS.. There could be more than one volunteers for each Polling-Unit. And the work of the volunteers is to flag what the observer uploaded as being wrong, or agree with it that it is correct.
For those that might be asking,, this App and the Data it contains does not in any way replace the INEC’s Officially Declared Results.
The App lets us to be as Fast as INEC in their Collation Processes. So that, whatever INEC is doing at all the Collation-Centers Nationwide,, We are already seeing all of it on our devices and gadgets..
INEC can never be faster than us again during their Collations..

QUESTION.. Is the newly launched “Citizen Monitors” App Backed By the Nigerian Laws.??
ANSWER.
YES
The Electoral-Act-2022 fully recognizes what we call “OBSERVERS”..
The “Citizen Monitors” App will be playing the role of “Accredited Observers” in all our elections -- from now going forward.!!
correctyourself: It's not about messed up society, but their rules and regulations of the working environment, yes very possible that she forgot, however the rules may just be against such forgetfulness. That's white people for you, i understand them through experience.
What the woman should have done is immediately she found it, would have informed appropriate authorities, that's the procedure, but in her case she forgot.
Again, the way things are done in Nigeria is not the same with them and you can't force your way of doing things on them, from my experience with them, they don't trust us at all no matter what you do, so looking at this case, they don't see it as we do, moreover, the organization is not a family business, so the reality has to be faced as looking at the number of days the item was with her may not be justifiable.
Like they say, ignorance of the law excuses nobody
It's just unfortunate, i hope her case is reviewed in her favor as age and pressure would have contributed to her forgetfulness.
This is a stark reminder that in the land of these people, it pays to mind your business.!!
DenreleDave: Nairalanders, a friend of mine is complaining about pain after sex... She has been on celibacy for a year plus and she recently started having sex.....

Futuristica: My wife has been acting weird for some months now, like she doesn't apologize if she is wrong, doesnt try to seek avenues for us to reconcile if we have quarrels. Instead, I am the one that always put the foot forward. If I point out something, she shows no remorse. She often says things like 'this life na once' .
Just a background.
I stumbled on this message sent by her workplace close girl friend. This tiktok message talks about falling in love with a married man because the man makes her feel loved etc etc.
But the caption below by the friend says, we will miss you so much.
My mind has been wondering what it means. I woke her from sleep to confront her to explain what the message means (it's a message sent this January) ..she looked scared or maybe anxious as I asked her if she had cheated on me with anyone recently.. offcourse ,'no' is the normal answer.
I showed her the message for her to explain what it was about . She said she can't remember what it was about and that she doesn't know. When I pressed further, she started gaslighting that if I feel she cheated, I should give her a divorce .
Dear house, what are you views on this matter? I am more concerned about what this message might mean.
Please be fair in your judgement. Thank you.
There are many more reasons to divorce her --- if that is what you want.
ErebeOcoco: Yesterday in my community, a lady reported that her husband assaulted her.
Now in my community, slapping, attracts a fine of 50k.
Fighting attracts a fine of 100k, 24 stroke of the cane and 1 carton of beer.
Threats of any sort attracts 100k and 1carton of beer.
Back to my story, the husband was arrested and whipped 24 stroke, and was made to pay a fine of 50k and 1 carton of beer. And afterwards was sternly warned by the youths never to lay a finger on his woman again.
He was given a bottle of beer and told to take his wife home.
Men in the house, how would you live with your wife after such humiliation?
What amused me was the type of men and youths that came out to embarrass and advised the man on how to govern his home.
Sorry no pictured is allowed when there is public beating in the community otherwise I risk 150 strokes and 200k fine.
Rapmoney: Two students who just rounded off their WAEC exam locked themselves in a passionate kissing session.
This is completely an irresponsible behaviour and it is all shades of wrong. They have not even started their life's journey proper. They should be focused on improving their lives through skills, business, trade, education, etc and not this.

Peter532: She didn't say it outrightly but for the few days she's been here always asking me if have bath...I mean your a guest in my house, and still you have the efontery to ask me that kind question because I let you into my space.
she did same thing this morning, telling my wife to put water for me to bath...shoi...me that if I want to bath no body will know, just to enter the bathroom..I don't even use hot water....and I normally bath twice before the day ends... except when I'm not going out....na this lady is asking me this kind question as if my body is smelling...or I have body odour in my own house...or na must for me to baff early in the morning when I'm not going out.
if you see the way I shouted for her with all the anger in me this morning not minding she's an older relation .I just can't hold it no more.
have you ever experienced an odd guest like this?
Then the odour must be too much.
What spices are you guys putting inside your food.? Are you guys cooking with too much garlic.?
Glimpsetv: Nigerian-born singer and dancer Korra Obidi has stirred speculation online after appearing unusually close to Dennis Graham, the father of Canadian music icon Drake.
Currently residing in the United States, Korra dropped hints about a possible romance by posting pictures on Instagram in which she was seen spending time with Graham. What truly caught attention was her bold caption where she playfully referred to herself as “Drake’s stepmother,” adding “Korra, Iya Drizzy,” alongside the photos.
One of the images showed Graham planting a kiss on her cheek, while another clip captured him wrapping his arms around her waist. Along with the video, Korra teasingly asked, “Please, is there anything wrong with the way he was holding my waist? Some people are sweating.”
Dennis Graham shares a history of divorce with Sandra, Drake’s mother, with whom he separated when their son was only five. Over the years, although their relationship had its ups and downs, the two now appear to be on friendly terms. Dennis even recently celebrated Sandra’s 75th birthday.
Korra herself is no stranger to marital issues. A mother of two, she parted ways with her husband, Justin Dean, citing mental health challenges as part of the reason behind the split. Dean, on his part, had accused her of being unfaithful during their marriage.
The video of Korra and Dennis Graham has since gone viral, drawing mixed reactions across various social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X (formerly Twitter).
