transcript of the broadcast of bbc:


What is happening at your house? Are
you
being arrested?


MKO: I’m being arrested, I’m
just going out now with the police
(National
anthem being recited in the background
by
his supporters hence, a momentary
pause in
conversation) MKO (continues): There is a
large crowd here and I am being
escorted
out to detention by singing the national
anthem

BBC: Why are they arresting you?

MKO: They are arresting me on the
allegation
of felony and treason or something like
that
(his voice becomes low and he
continues) they are not doing anything
they
are just taking me away. Please let me go,
you
know I’m delaying them.

BBC: and so where
are you now? Are you in your car?


MKO: I’m in
my car now

BBC: is the police with you in
your car or are they escorting …..


(MKO
cuts in)
MKO: The commissioner of police is in the
car
with me and my senior wife (Kudirat
Abiola)
is in the car with me.


BBC: Why are they
letting you talk on the phone to the BBC
while
in the midst of arresting you?


MKO: (chuckles)
they’ve come to arrest me not to arrest
my
mouth


BBC: You sound very cheerful about it
chief Abiola


MKO: of course you know
(chuckles on) it is all part of democracy
here


BBC: And you are happy to go to the
police
and await whatever charges they’re
going to
file against you



MKO: I’m not in any way
disturbed by it, ANY SACRIFICE IS IN ORDER
if it
will bring democracy, peace and
prosperity to
Nigeria.


BBC: Is it possible to talk to the
commissioner of police who’s with you in
the
car



MKO: I don’t know if the commissioner of
police is authorised to talk, he cannot talk
to
the press.



BBC: what is your advice now to
your supporters many of them we heard
a
moment ago?


MKO: I told them before I left
home to just stay calm! It is very very
important that they stay calm



BBC: So you are
appealing for calm you don’t want them
to
take any direct action in your support


MKO:
No, no, no, no


BBC: You still say you’re the
president of Nigeria but it’s no much
good if
you’re going to be in jail


MKO: well, Mandela
was in jail for 27years, Kenyatta was in
jail. I
suppose that is one of the qualifications
you
need in this part of
the world, don’t worry yourself my friend
…….


*End of phone interview and that was
the
last we heard from him* His wife Alhaja
Kudirat had this to say upon his arrest
“When
I saw M.K.O. alighting from the Black
Maria, I
felt really bad. I was weeping. I felt so sad
that something like that could
happen to someone of his caliber” He
indeed
paid the ultimate price for democracy…..

I dont have much to say.other than for us to do the needful..by voting the evil cabal of PDP out in line with what their evil genius godfather did to the yoruba nation in 1993 and their failure in the past 16 years..i can see the momentum gathering already..but omo odua dont relent..the job of kicking out cluelesness and corruption is a task that mus be done.say no to PDP.

I saw this post on facebook and i decide to share it here for youths who have offered themselves as agent of violence and thuggery for politicians to learn the lesson of life that when the darkside of the game comes..you are gonna face it alone.the children of tinubu and jonathan will be in america and london in best of universities while you alone will face the music.

FEMI KAFARU AJIGBEBON AND THE EVIL RING.
"He who killed a vulture will not live long". Let
this proverb goes to the door steps of Hon
Femi kafaru alias Ajigbebon, the current APC
chairman in Sagamu Local govt.
Information at our disposal has it that,Hon
Femi Ajigbebon, the former Caretaker
Chairman of sagamu LG and the late Comrade
Abiodun Gbadebo had a disagreement at one
of the polling units of Ward 6 sagamu during
the just concluded INEC registration exercise.
It was reported that the former Viginlate
boss, Femi Soldier who is well known for his
usual thug like character slapped the late
Abiodun with a CHARMED RING (Oruka ana
Kako) when the young comrade attempted to
stop him from exercising some acts that is
against INEC procedures.
Few hours after he slapped Abiodun
Gbadebo aka Omiojo with the evil ring in his
right hand, the boy was said to have
developed a chronic fever which led to a
prolong fever treatment by his immediate
family not knowing that it was the Oruka ana
kako (evil ring) that is affecting the boy.
When it later discovered that the fever was
not an ordinary thing, the state of health of
omiojo had entered into a level that no
remedy can be done. The young man was
reported to have died this morning causing a
great agony and pains in the family of the
Gbadebos on a christmas day when everyone
is having a celebration mood. This is very sad!
Femi soldier, how many people are you going
to kill?
Details of the burial arrangements of Abiodun
will be announced shortly.
Rest in peace ABIODUN GBADEBO aka Omi-ojo.

I never will understand why these 2 sons of Ake can't seem to get along or sit down together and iron out their differences. However OBJ picked a wrong target in a war of words and letters when he tried to vilify Soyinka in his book. He should have stuck to easy compromised targets like GEJ, Atiku etc who would need to study, think and work hard at a rebuttal but not Soyinka the wordsmith.

In yoruba we call them 'aja digbolugi' the kind of dogs with crebro-malfunction.you see them on the street just barking and jumping into the air for no reason.they are mad and yorbas are wise people they le these dogs display what ever 'were' or skushi in the parlance of boys on the street of today..then they do the needful.won ma jugi fun were tabi ki won le were loko,meaning they will grace the body of the mad one with planks and stones.

Please I had all my papers except D7 in literature, I already got admission to study law and regs will start in some days time, I don't think D7 in literature can be allowed to study law ? please who can help me.

i feel your pain bro espevially when the course in question is law,it is gona be difficult to see any faculty of law that will accept a d7 for the course..but just risk the clearance anything can happen you might get lucky..that still which school gave you the admission?
