Hello Everyone,
Please, who has an idea or signed a contract with passportUSA?......Are they fast, reliable and okay to go with?
If you have bnsc and have passed nclex, apply to avant,OGP ,shearwater or connectics. Passportusa is a red flag, they don't fulfil their promises when signed with them. Their process takes your whole life lol

Good evening everyone

Am a student Midwife and will be writing my council exams by September..
1. Can I apply for CGFNS with my Midwifery License since I have not done my general Nursing??..
2.How do I start if I can applyhuh

Am so happy I stumbled on this group last night I don't know why I feel so happy already when i'm yet to start the process which seems to be a long one...

Pls I anticipate your replies thanks..
A midwifery program alone doesnot provide qualification to practice as an RN in the USA .

A RM needs to be in conjunction with a general RN program.

Good Morning NL in Diaspora,

Thanks so much for this thread. It's been so helpful although I couldn't read them all through. I am here for a great concern & would need your experienced advices. Thank you.

I'm married to my wife & it's been 4yrs & we've got a son who's just 3months old. My wife is a RN( She's got BSC in Nursing & immediately after marriage, she proceeded to Nursing school in Jos & acquired another certificate). The fact is she hasn't worked since we got married, it's been schooling & pregnancy in d last couple of years. I've been talking to her about us making plans to leave the country so she can practice in the UK but she hasn't really keyed into my idea because she kept saying she wants to go with her family (Myself & Our son) & wouldn't want to go alone. Now I got no idea if it's possible we can migrate to the UK together as a family or does she have to go first? That's my first question, what type of visa would it be? MUST she write the IELTS? What kind of job experience can I garner to be able to help out when I travel? Although I have started learning graphic designing. Please j would also like anyone to recommend a reputable IELTS Tutor centre in FCT, Abuja because she wants to start learning so she can prepare for the exams.

I'll also appreciate if we can be schooled on the process & how possible it is to bring along our little son.
Thank y'all
To be a uk RN, she must take ielts.

You can get ielts materials to study online or download some YouTube videos..

It's better if she first go to the UK to write th osce exam and settle down before you move to her with the son. Travelling together to the UK is very expensive.

She will get a working visa and you too.
I'm sure you will get much info if you try to read the thread.

Cheers

Hi family I need your kind suggestions. I decided to try agent sponsored route to usa.i applied to 3 agencies (shearwater, interstaff and avant) just to spread my tentacles and choose anyway that works. Am yet to be scheduled for clinical interview in avant, I have been scheduled for interview by shearwater in few weeks time. Am through with interstaff and I have been sent a contract to sign . Please nurses who used this route what can you advice am basically confused. I have a timeline of 28days to sign the said contract. I need your input guys.
I'm sure you have bnsc because avant and shearwater don't accept nurses with only RN.

Since you don't have nclex yet, you can sign with any agency if you are good with their contracts.. but if I were you, I would sign with avant.. why? Avant contract is the best among the three because you can finish within 2years even before 2years.. because it's hours they count nor years..

Shearwater and interstaff contracts are 3years, you can NEVER convert to hours..

Interstaff don't pay for flight tickets when you are ready to travel for nclex which is the most expensive for the whole process..

Avant has more states for assignment than the rest, avant has more than 40states , interstaff and shearwater don't have upto 10..

Many things about these agencies that I know but it's okay to stop here.. I signed with avant and I'm always happy that I did.

Cheers

Hi everyone,
About the USA migrating procedure
Is Only RN without BnSc accepted?(2 years experience)
Yes , you need only RN to migrate to USA but most agencies now don't want to accept diploma due to many applicants.. I will advice you to do self sponsor if you can afford it.. cheers

Hi guys
Soo I have some pressing questions
1 As an intern nurse with temporary license, can NMC UK verify a temporary license ?
2 If I eventually complete my process and make it to the Uk without finishing my internship, can I still collect my permanent license from my school?
3 what documents should I get ready as I'm preparing to start the process?

Thanks.
You need a permanent license for the whole process,

Nmcn abuja can't do license verification for you with temporary license..

Thank you very much for the comprehensive response. Do you have information about any of the agencies one can apply to after passing her exam? She still keeps her job in Nigeria. If going back to Nigeria would be the best option then she would do it.

Thank you very much.
She can contact Connectics, interstaff, connexus staffing, vema staffing agency in california. Good luck

Hello everyone,

Please I have a friend coming to the US to write her Nclex exam next month. I pray she passes her exam, please how can she get a job and change her visa status? Do anyone know any agency or anyone/anything that could be of help? I would really appreciate a prompt response.

Thank you.
The easiest way to get sponsorship is to contact a staffing agency that specializes in placing foreign-trained nurses in American hospitals. But things have changed now because of the visiting visa she applied for.

Most agencies don't recruit foreign nurses with B2 visiting visa because of the difficulties in changing of status, and the contract and bonuses are lower compare to the nurses that have passed nclex and stay in their home country because the agencies are aware of your condition and some agencies will file H1b visa for her which is not EB3 of green card .

So the best shot for her is to go to usa to write the exam and back to Nigeria and contact agency.

If you read this thread from the beginning , I'm sure you would see the requirements and step in applying for Philippines visa which is the easiest route to write nclex..

SA visa is not sure but you can always Google to see the requirements..

Good morning all. Normally, I come here to read and get updates but now I've finally made up my mind to register, so I can make some comments. @hunnybee There's nothing more gracious than when someone makes a mistake, and later apologises for the mistakes done. Bluebeard made a mistake and he said he's sorry, what else more were you expecting him to do? Kill himself? For crying out loud, its just unfortunate he answered wrongly this time around, and you all are raining sulphur and brimstone on him. How fast it is to point fingers when someone goes wrong and suddenly goes mute when d correct thing is said? Asides this issue he had with @vickyehi and this misinformation he gave and some other times I can't mention now, there are countless times he has given correct answers. you said he mustn't answer questions, that also is wrong on your part. I'm saying this because u said to him that he must not answer every question, which suggests to me that you are capable of doing such too) yet, he answered. Bluebeard has his own shortcomings too, but for everytime he was wrong, he comes back here to clarify the information, which also suggests to me that he's open minded to learn. @bsn4eva And you calling him "empty"? And saying he acts like he knows everything? That was wrong too and I feel u should tender an apology for that . Funny as it may sound, if everyone contributes by answering questions , like in Canadian FSW or PNP threads, we'd have really gone far with this thread. U can imagine from 2016-till date, we're still on page 134, doesn't that suggest something to you? Pls we are professional colleagues here, let love rain, no need for hate speeches and comments to tear down each others. Please stay safe everyone. I love you all

Let me chip this last one in, those that have benefited from this group in any way, please there's nothing wrong if u come here and share the good news with everyone here, tell us how u got your abroad job, how u passed your NCLEX-RN /CBT, tells us how u passed your ielts and how u landed in USA / UK. This has a way of encouraging the younger generations. We'll all rejoice with you

[quote author=Alpheziz post=88411166]@BlueBeard you are missing something..... I don't think she already has an RN license as an intern nurse There is new process now in Nigeria.,,,.. Since she is not through with her internship, what they have issued her now is "licensed intern " until after she completes her one year internship before they will give her the main RN license.... I don't think she will be able to use that "license intern" document to process her nmc uk ...I stand to be corrected on this.

She can't use her intern license for verification at NMCN,
She will have to wait to get the original license
Bluebeard was wrong..

Orofun1:
Dear Florence,

We have received your application, and thank you for taking the time
to apply to
Global Nursing Recruiters. Sorry for the delay in responding to your
application.
We have been traveling in Ghana conducting information sessions and
have not been able to review many applications in the past 3 weeks.
You have made a life-changing decision and you have chosen the right
company. Global Nursing Recruiters is committed to giving you the help
you need to see your American dream come through. The next step is a
phone
interview. What is your WhatsApp number for a phone call?

Please read the rest of the email carefully to understand our
recruitment process
and respond to us as soon as you can if you are willing to move forward.

Introduction to Global Nursing Recruiters (GNR):

Global Nursing Recruiters is located in Atlanta, Georgia, in the
United States.
Unlike many other nursing recruitment companies, GNR consists of a team of
experienced medical professionals and educators, including Nurses and Medical
Doctors who are dedicated to teaching you all you need to know in the
coming months
to pass the United States National Council Licensure Exam for
Registered Nurses(NCLEX-RN).

Passing this exam is the first and most important step in recruiting
you to live
and work in the United States. However, passing this exam can be very
challenging
for most foreign trained nurses. That is why GNR invests time, 4-6
months preparing
you for this exam. We use high yield resources and we finance you
through out the process to
see to it that you are adequately prepared before we send you to take
the exam.
We are the only company that offers this kind of intense exam prep
with a one on one support.
We are therefore proud of our 97-100% first attempt pass rate and we
intend to keep it
at this rate or higher. We also do not give up on our registered
applicants, and that also
makes us a special recruitment company.

Please visit our website to read testimonials about the experience of
other nurses with
our company.

The following are the steps in our recruitment process which can also
be found on our
website when you click on the " Start Here" button.

1- After a successful interview and payment of the registration fee, you will
receive an agreement letter from us to be signed and returned.

2- After receipt of the signed agreement, you will be sent our high
yield NCLEX-RN review
notes to start reading.

3- We will start your transcript evaluation with an accredited
transcript evaluation
company in the US. As a foreign graduate, your nursing school
transcript has to be
evaluated in the US before it can be accepted for an American nursing program.

4- You will subsequently be sent the NCLEX-RN review class schedule,
and you are
required to have a computer with high speed internet as classes will
be offered
online weekly with each class lasting between 2-4 hours.

5- After several months of NCLEX prep and assessments, GNR academic
committee will
determine if you are well prepared for the exam. If that is the case, we will
request that you apply for a visa to India where you will be taking
the exam if you
live in Africa. We will provide you with supporting documents for your
visa application.
If you do not live in Africa, you will apply for visa if needed to the
the nearest country
with an NCLEX test center.

Global Nursing Recruiters will finance your trip (flight and hotel) from your
home country to the test center to take the exam. If you live in
Africa have a US, UK,
or Canadian visa, you can equally take the exam in these countries.
GNR will finance the trip if cost is with GNR's budget per nurse.
If you live in the Caribbean, you can also take the exam in one of the
US Virgin
Islands or US mainland if trip cost is within budget.

6- If you pass the NCLEX-RN, we will send a request for your United States
Registered Nurse license to be issued. After your license is issued,
we will then
submit a copy of it together with an updated version of your resume
to our partner company, International MedLink to secure you a job interview
and contract. After you sign the job contract, your immigration
process will start.
The immigration process can take between 8-12 months before you can
leave your home country
to the United States. So please be patient during this time, and
continue to work as a nurse.

This recruitment process is tedious and requires full commitment and
dedication from you in
order to be successful. For these reasons and because of the large volume of
applications we receive, all accepted applicants have to pay the
registration fee of $515.00 USD
in order to enroll in our recruitment class. We understand that this
fee maybe too
much for you, but it is a requirement and it also serves as proof of
your seriousness
and commitment to the program. The fee is used to pay for your nursing
school transcript to be
evaluated in the US. As a foreign graduate, your nursing school
transcript has to be evaluated
in the US before you can be accepted for registration to take the
NCLEX and apply for a
US RN license.

If you have already paid for your transcript to be evaluated by an
accredited US
company, you will get a discount on the registration fee and that
money will also serve as proof of your seriousness and go toward
paying for your exam or
US RN license.

Payment can be made online through our website with a debit card,
credit card/PayPal,
or through a bank wire transfer. Wire transfer information is provided
at the bottom
of this email. GNR will sponsor you and finance all other expenses up
to when you
receive your US license. These may include but not limited to;
Examination fee, US state license fee,
your review classes, your flight to India or another country with a
test center
to take the exam. You will have no further financial obligations in the NCLEX
prep process. Also for your information our partner company,
International MedLink will
not charge you any fees for securing you a job contract and subsequent
recruitment.

PLEASE NOTE:
REGISTRATION FEE IS ONLY PAID AFTER YOU HAVE BEEN INTERVIEWED AND ACCEPTED
FOR OUR RECRUITMENT PROGRAM. ONLY APPLICANTS WHO CAN PAY THE
REGISTRATION FEE WILL BE
INTERVIEWED.

GNR DOES NOT SUPPORT US, UK or CANADIAN VISA APPLICATION TO TRAVEL TO
TAKE THE EXAM. THERE ARE EASILY
ACCESSIBLE TEST CENTERS FOR EVERY APPLICANT.

PLEASE STATE IN YOUR REPLY IF YOU WILL BE ABLE TO PAY THE REGISTRATION
FEE IF INTERVIEWED AND ACCEPTED.

We look forward to hearing from you soon.

Please I need help on this.
I have a BSN , graduated last year in turkey but no licence or work experience yet . I've been trying to apply for master's or graduate degree in nursing in the US so as to write NCLEX but some of the programs require license or some work experience . I haven't found one that is a good fit for me. Please can I get suggestion on what particular program I can apply for in order to write my NCLEX in the US. Or should just go with a different health science course then write the NCLEX whilst studying.
You can not write Nclex without having a license..
As a foreign graduate nurse, you will need to do your credential evaluation with cgfns and they will surely need your license to do that.

You can only write NCLEX without license if you studied in usa
