What is all this now? Can we now see that we have a problem with Northern Muslims/Yorubas in this country. How can these pple decide to use the resources of their impoverished lands to finance what is absolutely non beneficial to their pple and after they will blame FG. How did they think this would end? By Nigerians submitting to Islam? By Jonathsn stepping down? By revolution? This is myopic on their part. Extremists will kill, not force, anybody be it Christian, Traditionalist, Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba, etc that does not agree with them. And when they tire of that, they will face their own Muslim brothers that dont agree with their extremism e.g Yoruba Muslims. Yet when we r working together to bring these pple down, some section of the country will b working overnight to defend them. Even the originators of these beasts dont try to defend them as much as these pple. I keep feeling repulsed by every news. Spit. |
baysol: What nonsense are you ranting? Didn't we said that this stakeholder story is a ruse that is dead on arrival. You see we'll see how you igbos will nail your coffin and burry yourselves in your show of shame. Your ogbanje minister and cohort presido mumutan will definitely have a case to answer when all these frolicking is over.My brother, no need to be bitter about the whole thing. Dont call names. The man u r calling names might just b from Benue or Rivers or Delta not necessarily the Igbo u r thinking. May the right person b on the job, that's all we r saying, for things to move. U can as well monitor this guy and write ur collective petitions to bring him down. Everybody knows it comes naturally to u guys. |
MsDarkSkin: very insightful write up.Exactly! Who will replace him. Look at the crop of people in ACN and CPC. These are thesame old politicians recycled time and time again. These same politicians were not given relevance while in PDP and they left and formed their own. Their hearts could even b more terrible. Infact they r more terrible. What I believe we should b doing is to guide this our current president by: 1. Protesting when we feel he is wrong like the subsidy protest. 2. Complaining when we have to like this Alamesigha issue. 3. Supporting when we have to like this Boko Haram Amnesty issue. What we must not do is to impeach him because he is still far better than the other options. |
This is a very wrong move by Jonathan. Alams name shouldnt have been there. This is a misguided sense of loyalty here. The man is a convict for God's sake. Nigerians should form a political party where membership should b based on: 1. Less than 60years. 2. Never held a political post before 3. Literates and Innovative illiterates 4. None military 5. All types of religious beliefs except satanists. 6. Emphasis on moderate Muslims 7. No backbiters and sabotoirs. So we can wrestle power from these oppressors. |
*556#:If your Mom is from Bayelsa like u claim, y not ask her opinion. Nobody is saying u should deny ur origin which is Yoruba but, since u can also hear from ur mother, y not balance the two. I dont want to believe u have been totally brainwashed with Yoruba tribalism since u grew up in Lagos. Keep an open mind as events unfold, u may still benefit from being part Bayelsan. |
Some pple say it as it is in their hearts while some can b diplomatic, exploitative with burning issues. That is the difference between propagandists and crusaders, the difference between politicians and freedom fighters, the difference between *556# and freeglobe. We all know where each of their loyalty lies. |
*556#:This better coming from u. Stand for what u believe in dont beat around bush and deny your intentions like Boko Haram sympathisers. More of this please. |
koruji: You are talking about todays education statistics while the issue is about skilled positions dating back to the 70s. You should be ashamed of yourself for such illogical reasoning. Yes the education system is bad today everywhere in Nigeria. In the SW because of the charlattans that took control of the SW in the name of national unity. We are going back to the fundamentals in the SW and glorious days are ahead of us again. You just spoilt a brilliant post by mentioning Awo. Remember others see him as a villain, bigot that gave free education to only Yorubas at the detriment of others. He is also seen as the one that sew the seed of tribalism in the heart of Yorubas that it comes out sub consciously now. You can always mention Gani, Fela, Soyinka, etc and pple will listen. Please! |
Why are Muslims all over even Yorubas requesting for Amnesty for these guys? |
FreeGlobe: you people lie so much you can't be trusted. That piece dayokanu used to be a sacred cow here until Afam came on board. Ever since Afam came on its been threads and the complaints section riddled with Yoruba cries of bannings, a people who prior to this time never got banned for utmost tribalism by bigoted mods. I think afam should look into this and equally ban the igbo stalker dayokanu because for all I no he used to be Jarus godfather and may have transfered to oam4j.Please, where is afam4everisaslut cause i dont see his posts anymore. |
And the defunct APC (headed by Tinubu and Buhari) just recently contributed 200M naira to their course. SMH! for Nigeria. |
Gbawe: Leadership efficacy , or lack thereof, is now determined with issues concerning a logo? You are all the same set of folks who quickly use the excuse you voted for the individual, GEJ, and not his Party when reminded of the 14 year evil of the PDP. Now, rather than consistently apply the same principle and look at the many, many, many proven leaders the APC is home to, you are happy to simply write them off over a Logo imbroglio. Why not simply confess your motivation instead of making statements that is obviously very unobjective, logically inane and lacks cogent sense? A bit like saying someone who made one spelling error cannot write properly while you ignore the many award he has won showing he has writing skills superior to virtually all others.Isn't ADC an acronym in the force used to describe a sort of bodyguard for coupe plotters. |
alexis: You are a student of the Quran and Hadith; are you not?My brother, he cant reason with u. Its obvious that its embedded in Quran. Its a shame! One day God will make all religion one. |
Johniyke2flex: Abeg jare! Mr OP na u add ur own jara to dis story. Are these not the ammunition dat were supposedly retrieved after the gun duel btw d boko boys nd JTF? Abeg Mr OP, dis jara 2 much!Very fake picture. @OP but why. U b Boko? |
jas_o: We seem to have more prematures in this forum. There is no where, particularly Boko haram virsus Nigeria govt. that you will encourage the government to continue the killing of both Boko member and inncoient citizens even when the latter also seeking help foR peace and violent free eviroment to carrying on their daily business.@jas o. ..... Dont bother urself trying to defend Boko Haram. Even the baby in ur wife's womb will frown at u. Lai Mohammed and ACN must not use every issue to score a political point. One can easily view Yoruba/Hausa/Fulani/Boko Haram as one entity now with this coment from ACN. Worry about wining SW again and leave Boko Haram to the government. The French refused to negotiate with them when they held their citizens, what does that tell u? These pple are bad publicity, associating with them will only bring this great party ACN to disrepute. |
Was the agbada wooden? |
quote author=kbdrim] And you really think SE and SS loves the meiddlebelter more than the North..The middlebelters dont even like each Other. Tiv and Idoma's dont see eye to eye. Tiv and Jukun. Berom and other tribes dislike each others in the plateau or is it Igala and Igbirra. You cant claim to know more than the middlebelter so stop crying more than the mourner. You only want a middlebelter to support the South South cos of what you feel You stand to gain. If you have studied Nigeria's history You will see why J S Tarka Chose to identify with the North In 1979 after Leading the Middlebelt Congress against the north for nearly 2 decades.
Once again somebody is telling u how he feels and u r teaching him social studies case study-his people. This is how he feels, stop telling himbhow u feel. Changeur ways. |
] kbdrim: You really Think a south south man will think of you first before he thinks of himself. By the way what has the so called middlebelt benefitted from a Goodluck presidency. If you want to be honest with yourself you will realise that the hausa-fulani has been more than generous to the middlebelter. IBB has 3 governors from Benue state as Governors(David Mark, Onoja and Chris Garuba) His closest pals were (Domkat Bali, Useni, Gen Garba etc). Gowon was head of state by the help of the North. Tell me how the Ibos or south south man has helped the middlebelt over any other tribe. In nigeria, people only look for allies to feather their own nest and its never for any common Good.Always whiping up sentiments. SMH! Somebody is telling u how he feels and u r telling him SS and SE. Nobody is happy with the Hausa/Fulani/Yoruba connection now. It is rediculous. Ur support makes them feel they r right. Yoruba when will u change. Haba! |
Why is ACN associating with Boko Haram? Why cant they face election and win election. Yoruba! Yoruba! How many times I call una. Somebody who kills and maims but says nothing is better than who announces and promotes the killings. Y is because if u can quieten the noise makers, u can get the killers to feel that they are on their own and therefore abandon their killings. LET ME SAY THAT ACN SUPPORT AND 200M NAIRA HAS CONTINUED TO ENCOURAGE THESE BOKO HARAM. May the wish of these Yorubas on nairaland come true for their support for Boko Haram and let them share thesame country with these guys. Only time will tell. |
so u ar voting 4 d party not candidate
Please read the topic again. |
PDP could b behind it! But APC should figure a way to overcome that challenge. Blaming PDP for this one will not win them the election. Some pple are now calling for Buhari/Fashola ticket. When APC looses now, they will blame PDP and kill pple in the North. |
Buhari/Fashola=Boko/Dictator |
adezjamz: guy u b fool o, u b d only xtian 4 here? Even if ur world is full of xtians, u will find anoda basis for ur madness.. U're really sick. Why not argue reasonably and present ur own points instead name calling. Seun should be checking the ages of posters here from their comments and ban them for life. Peeps that want to make deductive contributions here are frustrated by all this name calling. ........... tired. ![]() |
Vavavoom: It doesnt take any special prayers or gift to achieve it. One, we all have to cleanse ourselves of bigotry. We have to be ready to die for what we believe in. We have to note that money is not everything. We have to be selfless and think about the future of our children. We have to come out and vote for pple we like. We have to give our intellectuals with or without money opprtunity to speak. Somebody like Andy Ubah, Orji Uzor Kalu, Asari Dokubo, Tinubu, all the military past presidents, Tukur, Danjuma, Anenih and pple they support must be resisted vehemently. We need to identify the oppressors and booth them out. Islam is a restrictive religion in that their Sultan can make them reverse any positive policies they have proposed if it doesnt favour him or any of his followers during Friday prayers. The southerners who r not muslims do not have this restriction. Lets therefore, unite and move this country forward. Islam thrives in a traditional Arab environment which Nigeria isnt. Backbiters should retrace their steps and lend credence to positivism. Our Muslim brothers will eventually fall inline when they see the country moving forward, where rule of law, equity and justice thrives. Not because u r Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo, Ijaw, Ishekiri etc. In short, we need a total attitude overhauling. |
@OP... This is tooo long now! I wont bother reading it. Please, inform me when the man is dead. I just want to add two things u dont know about IBB : 1. His Second wife was married to somebody else before he snatched her from him 2, He murdered the son of the man whose wife he snatched 3. He murdered a popular editor of a popular newspaper 4. He put ur country in the state it is now. Gosh! I have passed 2........ let me stop here. Just inform me when he is dead. |
Demdem: Did evil mend think about the wives, children, parents and other loved ones of those they killed at atlas cove in lagos just because they wanted more money for themselves. Now, they have been rewarded for their bravery while the loved ones of those that died are left to gnash their teeth. Unfortunately, these ones died in vain. RIP.@Demdem.... Do u really believe u r puting up a reasonable arguement in this forum or u r just being mischievious. Kindly list 3 demands of Boko Haram. Aftre that tell me how innocent christians/northerners contributed to their grieviances. Then conclude by telling me y i feel that once a Muslim is given power, Boko Haram will end while the rest of the country will exist in uneasy calmness. Thank you. |
Table Leg :What do u want from FG again. One alm of the government has given u d revelation and u r still roping in the executive. Please, the executive will implement the Legislature's recommendations. Defending these few Northerners is just hypocritical. Reminds me of brainwashed suicide bombers. ![]() |
mu2sa2: Fighting boko haram is now a money-making venture. One trillion naira!!! The double standard is criminal - you shake hands with niger delta terrorists who declared war on the country and now playing the hypocrite. But the shenanigan will end shortly- let's await his campaign trip to Borno and Yobe in 2014 - he will eat his word. Squandering one trillion. Just like that. A third of that money spent prudently in NE will end the poverty and deprivation. The elders hav spoken, let Gej listen to wise counsel.Mr. Musa, ur elders have spoken without integrity. Other people's elders have advised that we kill off these Boko Haram killers and their sympathisers. Do a logical consideration and realise that they have no reasonable demands. Threats wont work, reason will. |
It's baffling to me why for the first time, government is speaking out against itself just for progress to be made in this country and yet a section of the country has taken it upon itself to be crusaders of impunity by diverting attention from the main issue. Instead of attacking the person of the Senator y not address the issues raised. Femi Falana is a Lawyer, he can be paid by anybody to argue for him, that's his job. Foreing companies have always owned blocs just like a few individuals in this country. The good senator is saying, that more than 83% of the oil blocs owned in this country by individuals of this country are by Northeners. Let's not beat about the bush, i believe the claim is easily verifiable. Let's verify it and publish the correct list. Is it only me or has anyone noticed that his colleagues in the house are keeping mum about this whole thing. Outsders get coopted by them to make certain comments on the pages of the Newspaper because of their eloquence or ability to write while they themselves are keeping quiet. Could it be because they know the truth? Let's address the anormally, if it exists, by revoking the licences and sharing the blocs equitably. The people whose environment is being degraded should be considered first. This oil will not last forever and when its gone, oil producing states may not have a viable environment to fall back on while our Northern brothers will continue to cultivate their well preserved lands. Please, my Yoruba brothers, lets be realistic here now and stop this our Amala politics. |
This boy's psyche has been dented for life. He may find it difficult to survive outside that his community! ![]() |
Hear the man again..."in the case of militants in the Niger delta when u say come out, they come out". The people u r agitating for are faceless and have no reasonable demands. Everybody knows its just to make the country ungovernable. Billions of naira from oil blocs in Niger Delta is working negatively for them. Hausa/Fulani Muslims stop turning Nigeria into Afghanistan and lets grow as a nation. U people should sit back and watch other tribes take u to the height u deserve. Your religion is a deterrent to development, sit back, relax and practice ur religion in peace just like everybody else or else u will all be killed off. Everybody now detests u and ur type of Islam and all those that sympathise with u. |
I am of the opinion that the whole allocation be revoked and equity emplyed in sharing these blocks with the sole purpose of beneficiaries developing their communities...... I dont support Asari making the call though. Some genuine demands loose their credibility when made from certain individuals. @Op next time choose a better leader's comment when presenting a genuine demand. I am sure Asari is not the only one that is calling for the withdrawal of these licences. |
