My apology goes to all Nairalanders who are following my thread 'I am so sorry' I haven't updates my thread in a while. Please bare with me.


Here is updates.
Aza and Tito has been doing so great these days. Tito who shouts when I brought her in, stopped shouting after 2 weeks (14 days) of her arrival. She now eats much more than before. They've both completed their vaccines and taking deworming pills every two weeks. Aza is now at his 3 months and 2 weeks while Tito is now at her 2 months and 2 weeks. Tito got taller and now getting fatter gradually while Aza is just getting fat.

Try to bring aza out every now and then for him to socialize and play remember he is still a pup...also use the opportunity to potty train him so he stops messing the cage

Oh ok, but the last time I brought him out of the cage, he used his mouth to pick everything he sees. So, I thought he might contract anything from there, I've brought him out like twice now and he's doing the same, so I've stopped bringing him out, but as you've said now, I'll be cleaning the vicinities before bringing him out. Thanks

Alright, I'll do that.

I brought my dogs 7 days ago. But I gave them names today ,
The male is AZA and the female is TITO.
Both dogs are very playful dogs. I never let AZA out of his cage since I brought him but I'd let TITO come out of her cage sometimes in while cause she never urinate or poop in her cage (she's so disciplined) and that's a potty training I'm engaging her to gradually. AZA can eat a ten story building within a blink of an eye while TITO eats slowly, if I'd served AZA twice, TITO wouldn't have finished her first plate. They've gotten two shots of vaccine already and have been dewormed.

Thats a very solid boerboel you have there by the left. How old are they and have they been vaccinated?

The small size is 6 weeks, will be 7 weeks this week, while big headed one is 9 weeks already. Yes, they've both gotten 2 shots.

I got these dogs four days ago, the Bullmastiff has been responding so well but the Boerboel has been whining/shouting and crying all day and all night. Though they are both responding to food, and also I want a recommended food for them to make them grow normal and strong, I'll really appreciate if you can help me with that. I'm also new here .

My dog lived inside the house with me for the first four months of his life. He sees me often and he was so close to me, that was the reason he was not crying especially at night.
When he was five months, he was no longer comfortable living inside with me as he started destroying my things.
Let your dog be closer to u especially at night.

or u may ignore his whining for few days as he will stop on his own

Thanks for that, but they're two (The Boerboel and a Bullmastiff) though the Bullmastiff do not whine/shout or cry at all, they are both in the cage
