As per the time it will take, I do not know. But it won't exceed 1 month. Now is the time to act. Hav already submitted my application in jamb office along wit photocopies of my affidavit. Wen I got there I saw that 10 people had submitted their applications each wit different problem. Some filled wrong Local Government, wrong date of birth and others mispelt their names....

Isaactop9 ya u can go to jamb office for correction of mispelt name if u can't go to Abuja urself. I myself wrote an application letter to jamb to get my date of birth corrected. The letter will be sent from Jamb zonal office in the state u live to Abuja with a fee of N2500. Ur mispelt name will be corrected.

The letter will pass through the Co-ordinator zonal office down to the Deputy Director Jamb National HeeadQuarter Bwari Abuja....

you haven't met a physical clearance ordeal before if not, you won't be complaining about money. don't you think that even the VC of uniben can't alter that name in your waec result. why not make a try and know what's the way forward, perhaps, even if it will take 3months for waec to make the correction it is still a thing of joy. and you could even lay up a complaint to them that you want to use it for clearance next year and also for online clearance this year

just give it a try, doctor21 successfully made a name correction few days ago after a number of strenuous efforts, which took him a long period of time and money to do in the WAEC office. it took him something like 1-2 months

this is where you problem begins, try visit waec office for rectification if not successful just swear an affidavit of age declaration with the real date of birth to back up your documents. and pray the clearance officer don't postpone you clearance to a different day and if he/she doesn't you may be given a correction form to fill and sure your clearance will be very stressful and delayed before it may be cleared

if u have a prob DAT warrants correction form, you have to fill,den d senate will seat on your issue, if you a certified to clear, you clear, if not ..... you know d rest. I was cleared after matriculation, it was not a small tyn

It's no news that students in various faculty e.g Engineering,Life Sciences,Pharmacy,Education etc. have concluded their exams except for some few dept that have their exams postponed due to the incidence at Ekosodin on Friday,21st November. Student's have started vacating their hall of residence(Hall1,2,3,4,5 and keystone hostel) all thanks to S.U.G director of welfare that provided buses going to lagos at a subsidized rate of #1,800.

it all depends on d clearance officer. Some accept affidavit for name correction while others don't.

it depends on wat the officials agree on...if ur certificate is in doubt cos of different names.u might be asked to buy correction form...bt if ur birth cerificate differs frm ur waec or neco stuff..u wud be asked to do affidavit of names.
So it all depends on the condition u find urself

U don't need a separate Affid for state of Origin. They wil include ur state in ur Local Gov of origin. Ur local Government is in ur state. Once ur LGA is mentioned ur state will be mentioned along side with it. They go hand in hand. E.g Ogwachukwu Local Government Area, Bayelsa State. Ur LGA will not be mentioned without mentioning the state the LGA is situated
