"The matter is in court but people must say the truth. The governor was gone. It is not on my place to make it good for the governor. As a politician, my business is not to make him comfortable and that is why there is power plane.” Here’s a man whom the Tinubu APC-led federal government claimed had no hand in the crisis in Rivers State choosing instead to place the entire blame on Governor Fubara, just to justify the illegality of the declared state of emergency. His comments, actions, and inactions have shown that he is the chief instigator of the entire crisis and he has sworn that there will never be peace in Rivers State. He was governor for eight years, and during that period, he ruled like an emperor, treating the state as his personal estate. But today, he refuses to let another governor serve the people. |

Honestey: That money was moved out of Rivers' government account and do you think it was appropriated as a gift? If you think so then I'd rather argue with a 2 years old kid than you. You must be the two-year-old here, because you've refused to see that the Rivers State government under this unconstitutional sole administrator and their co-travelers is out to paint Fubara black, just to create more justification for perpetuating the illegality of the state of emergency declared by Tinubu Tell Tinubu to reverse the state of emergency he declared, and allow Governor Fubara, the deputy governor, and the lawmakers to return, then we won’t even be having this discussion. |

NewHe: This is not about government, it's about peace and resetting of brains! Fubara is vibrating, the House dey mis yearn and threatening, please where do you think it will end? In a state of emergency, the NASS governs the state and they've approved a sole administrator for that purpose! The noise is much because of the seemingly hatred of Wike for helping and working with Tinubu, that's just the truth! Let me tell you, a new local election will be conducted, those likely loyal to the governor will boycott, PDP/APC will form the crux of the LGAs, iff Fubara and the house are restored,do you think anything will change? Which peace and whose brain is being reset here? You're quick to point an accusing finger at Fubara, but deliberately and cunningly refuse to do the same to the chief instigator of the entire crisis in Rivers State: Nyesom Wike, who is being backed by the Tinubu-led federal government. If Tinubu sacks Wike from the Federal Executive Council with a strong warning to never interfere in the governance of Rivers State, you and I both know the so-called crisis would die a natural death. But he won't do that because wike himself is being used by Tinubu So leave matter for mathias abeg |

Gov. Umo Eno is jittery, and I really understand his fears.
He will be seeking re-election in 2027, so he just wants to stay in the good books of the federal government led by Tinubu. This way, the APC in Akwa Ibom, ably led by Senate President Senator Akpabio, won’t pose a strong opposition capable of truncating his re-election bid. |

Governor Alex Otti is obviously the best governor so far among the crop of governors and executives that emerged from the 2023 elections.
How I wish he could be allowed to serve as President of Nigeria, while Tinubu is suspended for two years using the same method he used to suspend Fubara so that Nigerians can have a breath of fresh air and finally witness real, purposeful, and impactful governance.

You're just a hater and not from Rivers state.
Tell your criminal NBA to refund the money. Are you from Rivers State? Listen, don’t be in a hurry to label me a hater. Tell the sole administrator to approach the court. |

Return which money, and to whom?
The Rep member, Mr Solomon Bob seems completely disconnected from the facts. It was simply a gift, not a hosting right.
It's quite funny how convenient it is that the Rep member is urging the sole administrator to use "every constitutional means" to retrieve a gift...the same sole administrator who isn’t even recognized by the Nigerian Constitution |

Septuagenarian: You must be a joke to compare Fagbemi with Malami, what Fagbemi has accomplished within the last 2 years as AGF, Malami didn't achieve in the 8 years of Buhari. All Malami was doing was stealing using EFCC assets, providing cover for killer herdsmen and fighting the late Rotimi Akeredolu on Amotekun and other initiatives. Please never compare a slowpoke Malami with a smart Fagbemi.
Malami ought to be in jail by now if not for the cover Buhari is providing him. Tinubu needs to send some of his case files to EFCC asap, small rat calling himself Elephant. Can you list out these achievements? |

Can you be more detailed about the bold If you describe Fubara as tyrannical simply because he didn't prioritize the welfare and wellbeing of his people, then what would you call Tinubu whose wicked and draconian policies, masquerading as economic reforms, have inflicted untold hardship on Nigerians? These so-called reforms have led to widespread starvation, soaring hunger, worsening insecurity, and the general collapse of living conditions across the country. |

Are you now implying that the state of emergency was declared to clear a financial mess? So, according to the constitution, when there's a financial mess, the president should declare a state of emergency, remove a democratically elected governor, deputy, and lawmakers, and then appoint a retired military man who isn't even a financial expert to fix it? Wonderful. |
