The MPS is the same as MSC in Economics just that it is non-thesis based and is created specially for professionals who are only interested in pursuing a master's degree in Economics to boost their job chances, chances of promotion etc. The MPS you see is just a title. So if you just need a master's degree to better your chances in the US job market, then the MPH program is the best for you. However, if you have plans for a PhD afterwards or sometime in the future, then go for the traditional thesis-based MSc in Economics program.

Thanks Big Francis.

God bless you.

Good evening/morning everyone.

Please, I'll just go to the point.

I on the verge of applying to UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND. I had some concerns which I've clarified through correspondence with the department.

However, I want to do a masters degree in applied economics. I noticed now it's stated as "MPS in APPLIED ECONOMICS. Instead of the normal MSc/Ma that were used to.

So my question is, please is MPS (Masters of Professional Studies) in Economics same as, say MSc in economics?

Thing is, nah that MPS Dey confuse me. I just want to know so I don't go fool myself after paying admission fee and looking like a zombie at the embassy.

Please daddys and mummys, help me. I don't mind any form of explanation. Even if yabbing follow join. (Bros Femi) cry cry cry

Good afternoon everyone,

I've been following this thread for few weeks now. I need help at this point. Please, if you can, I'd appreciate it.

So I'm trying to apply to some schools in the states and I'm stuck at the point of statement of purpose. Did some research and it looks quite a bit uneasy like I'd thought it would be.

Please, I'm open to suggestions and advise from everyone. Or if I can get a sample SOP to leverage on, I certainly won't mind either.

Apologies for disturbing you'll. I look forward to someone helping me.

Thanks.

Religion / Re: Bishop Sam Zuga Attempts To End Fulani Herdsmen & Tiv Farmer War (Pics) by Bobo419: 4:21pm On Mar 28, 2017
Two quick points to make:

1) Is that a staged conjugal ceremony or a real one? If it's real, then something is not right ooooooo. Cause that's a clear sign of a poorly feed Sugar-mommy that has no sugar in her. cheesy cheesy

2) Pastor, you don try. You said there won't be war in the land for 7 years if the people choose to live in peace and harmony. Baba, this your prophecy is wonderful. You're a truly sent from God. The only concern i have is just that even a mad man can prophesy what you just said and it will surely come to pass.

Okay, make i add my own prophecy.......There won't be war in TIV land between the tiv and fulanis for the next 14 years if the people live in peace and harmony with each other.

If you believe in my prophecy, kindly like this Post..... If the Like plenty, aswear, I go go open my on church kwa grin grin grin grin grin

Business / Re: CBN Introduces New FOREX Rates, Dollar Now N360 For "Invisibles" by Bobo419: 11:19am On Mar 28, 2017
Tinyemeka:

Oga, do you have any circumstancial evidence to show how Forex approved by CBN to be utilized for the stated invisibles would be diverted to BDC dealers? Can you please explain how they plan to do that?

Please visit your nearest bank branch and enquire on the requirements and process flow of Form A applications and approvals. I find it libelous and extremely aggravating when a comment as yours is made in such banket manner. Please explain how a Form A invisible can be diverted to a BDC operator account? I'm curious. Leme learn.

Form A abi. You stay there sir.

I'll only give you one answer. The BDCs that are required to show documentary evident of PTAs and BTAs they sold to every week, how do they do it and yet still sell above the approved CNN rate? undecided

Maybe you're new in this country sir or just maybe your response has some political undertone. Only you know.

What I know is what I've said. And to a large extent, I'm flurry familiar with the subject matter. But if you disagree, all well and good sir.

common guys spare this friend this spat, if not for his updates on Fbank but encouraging religious quotes.

Religious quotes you say? Does this look like a religion thread? For weeks, if not months now, that Lad have been spitting nonsense on here. Tolling with people's emotion with his silly posts. We're not kids, don't treat us as such.

But since he wan' be silly, let's all be silly together.
