Pets / Re: Mixed Feelings As Raped Dog Gives Birth by Bobo419: 11:31am On Mar 27, 2017
Lmaooooooooo.

But I get what she meant though.

She was keeping her dog for the right male, possibly the same breed or a better breed to mate with her but the neighbor's dog 'raped' her, - against the wish of the owner and gave her Belle.

Konji nah bastid. grin grin grin grin

This just made me laugh today.

Business / Re: CBN Introduces New FOREX Rates, Dollar Now N360 For "Invisibles" by Bobo419: 11:17am On Mar 27, 2017
This is CBN pegging the dollar like they did before. I have no problem with that. What I do have problem with is the banks. The new policy says they should only sell Forex to parents who want to pay school fees abroad, BTAs and PTAs. However, watch shady bank managers selling the Forex to the Bureau de change operators who would bribe them.

All in all, this is a welcome development.

We Wait to see the impact of this on the parallel market.

Please note that the parallel market, at the moment, gives a true reflection of the naira value as against the dollar in Nigeria.

We still have a long way to go.

We Wait to see the impact of this on the parallel market. If the dollar should fall massively on the parallel market, that's when we'll feel the impact on the Maggi, tomatoes and general goods that are currently expensive.

Romance / Re: Was My Boyfriend Scamming Me? by Bobo419: 9:30pm On Mar 22, 2017
Hi Anonymous1234,

I trust you're finding solace at this time.

If you don't mind my moniker, (a name I jokingly chose but may look suspicious in regards to the discussion at hand) I have some few thoughts to share with you.

The guy was scamming you. Pure logic. He however wasn't after your money but the shelter you provided. That's your purpose. He was trying to play safe with you. Get shelter from you then money from the other people he message.

I also feel you did no wrong in trusting a man you're in love with. You loved him, you trusted him. God bless your heart dear.

Finally, I'll like to point out that some Nigerians are Scammers. However, not all of us are. We're good people, well cultured and downhearted. A few, here and there, soil our name.

I do hope you find love again. More especially with a good Nigerian.

Thanks for sharing your story.

Impeachment kwanu!!!

What was his offense? Did he steal? Was he kwarupt? Did he kill? Did he put the name of the house into disrepute?

Nah!

He fell off with the power that be in the state!!!

A typical House of card scenario (For those who follow the series.)

Meanwhile......

The new Speaker is smiling at the invitation to come eat the National cake. grin grin grin

Close to five months now. I've not heard from Nexia after what looked like a successful interview in Lagos.

What's going on exactly?

Called them today, its the same story of you will hear from us.

OK Bro. Better we put our mind off it. It's just that we have no one to share us information on here about them. Like people who work there.

I do know they promised good salary for the trainers and all but no one even know what they are offering.

Anyways, thanks Bro.

Hey, I don't know you, but I want to advise you to delete this screenshot. Apparently, companies have their HR personnel on nairaland. The email they sent is confidential, and putting it up here may be seen as a breach, and it will be easy to track especially as you left your name on it.
Dear Brother Einstein,

Loooooooool.... Calm Down sir.

1) It's an Automated Mail

2) Hr is too busy to be monitoring your comments on Nairaland

3) He was wise enough not to put his name

4) You are just an ITK for no reason

5) RECEIVE SENSE my brother.

I'm also having the same problem. I'm based in Enugu but most of the job openings I've seen are either in Lagos or abuja.. I've gotten a few invites for test but ended up not going because of distance.

Daniel, its either you leave your comfort zone to go get your dream job or you stay in your comfort zone and do the jobs available there. You can't eat your cake and have it.Most people working in Lagos didn't grow up there. at one point, they had to stay with one uncle or on e friend brfore they got a job. In fact, some traveled to Lagos from Enugu for tests and Interviews with the little savings they had.

Listen young man, Getting a Job is a Job! Getting a Job requires Investment. You want it, Work hard to get it!!!

Cheers,

HRs and "Gurus" in the house. Good afternoon. please I need your advice here.

I am a mechanical engineering graduate. I am based in Ilorin but most of the job openings i have been seeing are either in lagos, ibadan or other bigger cities. My question is should i remove my home address from my resume` or i should change it to a friend or a family member's own in these cities?.
I usually indicate in my cover letter that i am ready to relocate though. My concern is that HRs or companies as it were might look at the distance and cost incurred and instead go for someone that is based in that state.
Anticipating your answers. Thanks.

Hi Chief,

Kindly remove the Ilorin address and input one of your uncle's address in lagos. No matter how you intend to relocate, someone who has a Lagos address already has an upper hand in the job selection than you.

Cheers,

How do you mean?
Crime / Re: Fulani Herdsmen Release Enugu Auditor After N700,000 Ransom by Bobo419: 1:21pm On Apr 20, 2016
But thing are getting out of hands in this country. Just forget politics for a while and let's focus. what is motivating and iinspiring these Fulani folks? Why are they felling invincible all of a sudden? When did they start walking the path of kidnapping, fighting and killing? Who dey ginger them? Pertinent questions we need to ask ourselves because the fulanis I know used to be quiet and easy going. Under the shadow of the hausa. But alas, they seems to be inversely cursed these days. If you have an answer to my rants, kindly quote me.

Cheers,
