Mikkosh11: First get your GCMS notes to know why they rejected the first application, if your spouse and baby are going alone for now it will reduce the amount of POF you have to show. It is always ideal you have your funds for a minimum of 4 months. Though is some rare cases, statement with shorter periods have been used successfully. 1 Like |

Gift23: You have to first determine what kind of introduction are you proposing, however, generally letter on introduction is written by one another party (employer, referee etc) to introduce another party (applicant etc) Check google for various samples. |

excel1960: Sorry about the refusal, you need to apply for your GCMS notes to know the actual reason(s) for refusal. You can provide your profile for the house to know your details and offer advice. How much was your POF? Your current job and course you are going for? etc 1 Like |

maxyboss212: Sorry about the refusal, your sources of funds are poorly documented, despite your big closing balance, you did not pay any tuition. The VO does not believe the funds you have shown is yours since you did not make any part payment, also you did not explain the lum sums into the accounts you presented. You need to get documents proving your sources of income Make part payment of the tuition. Explain lump sum deposits 1 Like 1 Share |

Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Bobomaigida: 6:26pm On Nov 20, 2023 |
desi10mi: No, you can apply for the family before arriving in CAD. If you are able to show sufficient and available POF for them, you can apply. |

Kenny4real68: Sorry about the refusal Kenny. My thoughts on this are that the VO did not see sufficient proof of the sources of fund- From your write up, your uncle contributed about 75% of the funds and it seems his sources of fund is the company for which you provided registration docs; however, registration docs shows ownership, it does not show how FUNDS are made by the company and it is also difficult to use a company (Not impossible) to prove sponsorship because their(VO) own understanding of company accounts is quite different from ours. Whilst you have shown the availability of the funds, the VO felt that the documents you provided, did not show HOW the funds were raised. If you provided such documents then the VO did not review them. You also did not state how you raised the funds in your own account apart from the funds sent to you by your uncle. - You need to show how the company makes its money and when they say they will sponsor you, how much of their funds will they be providing for you in relation to the cashflow of the company.- via invoices, receipts, financial statements - You need to show how the funds in your account were raised as well - via salaries, gifts, assets sales. You also need to apply for your notes to get the details before reapplying. |

Rapujoshua: The issue is that the VO must have sent a request to his school to confirm if they issued the letters he submitted but received no response. I suspect the VO would have reached out via the school email stated on the school website rather than the information stated on the letter to do a secondary check and received no response. This is just me thinking, I am not saying it with certainty but request for your notes to know the actual reasons. Is the school where he lectures a public school? |

excel1960: Upfront medical is when applicants go for medical examination before IRCC requests for it. Applicants do this to prevent wasting time as you will only have 30 days to do the medical when IRCC requests for it. There are usually long wait times to get a spot for the medical exam. Your dashboard is showing the normal message, if and when you pass the eligibility and a medical request is issued, the message on the dashboard will change to we have sent you a medical request. 1 Like |

Nbv1: Dear Nbv1 I understand that you want to inform people about the struggles that is prevalent in CAD now and warn people to be aware of them/it. However, it will be better you always balance your intervention, tell us the bad and also the good, because as bad CAD is now, 9ja is unfortunately worse. There is simply no comparision between the two locations. The only way you "enjoy" 9ja now is if you are EXTREMELY WEALTHY" and/or connected to a top politician. How many people have these connections? Besides, Thousands of people are still moving from India to Canada despite all the issues in Canada, the issues does not deter them at all, infact when they get to Canada, they start trying to bring ALL their relatives/friends over. They full Japa industries in India, where you have Banks (who give them educational loans), consultants, diplomats involved in getting people to travel out to Canada and other countries like Aus, NZ, UK and US. That is what we expect you and our other brothers and sisters already there to be doing, giving advices on how new people can navigate, creating communities' to help others to come over, etc. The situation in 9ja now is dicey, things are not rosy, and for most people they will rather face the struggle in a society where things will change for the better if you keep your head down and work hard/smart than struggle in 9ja where there is no hope of redemption. Our communities in Canada should be encouraged to grow to be as powerful as the Indian community, why do you think the changes that were recently announced by Marc were made, cos the issues were affecting the Indian community, if that fake LOA issues had originated from Nigeria, what do you think IRCC and CBSA will do? They would have probably increased our SP rejectionrate to 99%. See what Prof Christian did sometime late last year/early this year, he and others took the establishment to account and told them they were discriminating blacks like us from coming, that the rejection rates were too high for flimsy reasons. So please what I want to beg you to do is show us the way since you are there already. Like telling us " Guys things no too balm for CAD now, abeg when una dey come hold money to cater for yourself before you see work". Something like this. Finally, please know that the more Nigerians you have over there the more you gain respect and power because a bunch of broomsticks tied together is stronger than a single stick. All the best. 29 Likes 2 Shares |

kc6964: There have many instances where GCMS notes have stated that "account had preexisting low balance and high closing balance within a short time". So, applications have been rejected for that reason especially when the applicant is unable to explain the sudden change in balance with documentary proof. However, when and if an applicant has such case, the onus is on the applicant to explain the transaction history and provide documents that back up the explanation and pray to have a kind VO that will ascribe favourable/positive weight to the explanation. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

JumaiAdama: Sorry for the refusal 1. The funds that was transferred to you by the union was sent out of your account, why did you send it out? 2. You did not provide any document that shows why the union is sponsoring you, I also suspect you did not explain the relationship between you and the union(you need documents to back this up) 3. There was no financial commitment on your part, it is like the only funds you showed were the one sent by the union which you even dissipated. |

Favouralltheway: Except you give your school a visa denial document, they will not refund your money, those guys are stickler for fine print. I will suggest you explore deferring the start date to a date that is within your entry time. Then do the following 1. Draw your budget for the programme. 2, Reach out to all the people you think can help you raise the funds- remove ego and pride now and ask for anything. Nothing is too small now. 3. If you see where you can borrow the funds from and plead with them for repayment in the future, grab it. 4. If your family has a property that can be sold to raise the funds let them sell so long as it won't make them homeless. 5. If you are a church or mosque person, apply to your either of them and beg them for funds, if they have to go collection for you so be it. 5 Likes 1 Share |
