Hello House,

I want to know if it's acceptable to add crypto wallet (etherum) to boost someone financial support?

If the answer is yes, how can it be done?

Thanks guys

It will not serve much cos the crypto is not readily available for your use. However, you can use it as part of your source of funds by showing your transaction history and explaining it

Congratulations!! May God’s name be praised!

Please I would like to ask if it was really necessary to liquidate your assets.
My sponsor has like quarter of the money for living expenses in his naira account and also dollar account(we’ve already paid 50% of the fees) . But he has some assets like treasury bills, bonds, huge pension and also tenancy agreements to prove that he gets incomes monthly from being landlords in different places.

Is this enough to prove the fund? As he’s not willing to start liquidating his assets but he’s willing to share all these certificate of assets with me. The sponsor is my father btw.
God bless you as you respond.

You should place more emphasis on the balances on his naira and dom account, the investment accounts are not readily available to you. He can also move some balances to your account. Then you need to explain your relationship and HOW he gets his income with necessary documents.

No, but you have to explain the essence of the loan and how you will be paying back the loan.

Hello Everyone,

My wife applied for SOWP (spouse of a Masters student) on Jan 23rd with biometrics completed Feb 5. She reached out to IRCC (via email with the contacts provided on this thread) on Apr 6 and got a response from Nairobi, saying the application is still within the processing time (over 10 weeks after submission). The medical was updated on the same day.

Its 12 weeks already and the page is stuck on "application is in progress". Eligibility has not started. A webform was sent on Apr 11 but no response or feedback till date. Is it okay to keep sending webforms and emails to IRCC or we just wait?

They will definitely conclude on the application, you can give like a week break. Eligibility checks would have been done in the background so final decision will drop without the status of eligibility changing.

Just hope for the best. I know the wait can be full of anxiety. Just hang in there.

I know it might not work but is there hope that when she visits she can switch or maybe get jobs to support the husbands income?

Except she gets a LMIA job, she cannot switch.

Please I want to know if it mandatory to add a tax clearance certificate of my Business Enterprise to my list documents to upload.

I am planning to use my work (Study leave ) and business as source of fund for second year tuition and living expenses.

If the TCC will help to confirm the huge inflows into the business account then you are good to go.

Please is anyone know about Eastern College?

I was told the school has Private Career College Graduate Pilot Program? Thinking to move here from Toronto because here in Toronto things are not easy at all lol

I saw this on the school site please any more insight

The Province of New Brunswick is starting to accept expressions of interest for the Private Career College Graduate Pilot Program.

Why do you want to move to a school with PGWP
LEAVE anything that has private career programmes.
Then what makes Toronto not easy, which school are you in Toronto?

Please does this provincial attestation letter Adds to visa Approval. Does it increase its chances

No, it doesn't. It just shows that the province has accounted for the student based on the quota allocated to the province.

With a VV, maximum stay is 6 months. Minor would remain in Canada with mum for PA 1 year study. Also during the stay, minor is also supposed to start creche/kindergarten, etc. So how would that VV cover for her? I also have heard instances where people applied for SP for their infants, 4 years precisely and SP for the minor was granted. Have you heard of such?

The minor will be given a visitor record that will allow him/her go to school. 4 years is not of school age in Canada. You can apply for VV longer than six months

Good day people. While filling my 4 year old baby Study Permit application, the first doc to be attached under Application was Letter of Acceptance. Since she is a minor accompanying her mother who is the principal applicant, what do I attach in the column?

What is the duration of the programme? that 52k is too much except you have enough funds to cover it.

Thank you. I appreciate. What can I use as the source of income. My spouse is working and also into business but the income is not sufficient for what we need.
What can we use as source of income?
Can I use my spouse who is accompanying me as sponsor?

If the income from his work and business is not big, then it will be a challenge using him as your sponsor. How was the POF raised? Was is a lump sum deposit?

Hello everyone, I am a bit worried.

I am a masters degree student. I applied for sowp for my spouse and sp and vv for my kids using spouses’ account. On the 24th of march, eligibility review started and I received a message to provide my own pof, and was given 7 days to provide it. I was told that the sowp application will be placed on hold till I provide it. I uploaded the required document on the 26th of March.

Pls note that I provided bank statements of spouse containing more than required Pof, but mine was requested alongside.

Ever since I uploaded the doc requested, it’s stuck at “we are currently reviewing your eligibility “, and the section for the additional document reads “the documents requested have been uploaded”

It’s beginning to look like my family application is still on hold, as they have not started reviewing the additional document. It’s been 2 weeks since I uploaded it. I have also sent countless web forms and emails to no avail.

Should I really be worried? Medicals completed already, and this eligibility stage is the only incomplete evaluation. It’s been 2.5 weeks since the eligibility review started

I think you should relax, they will issue decisions on all pending applications same day, I suspect the VO has not returned to the application to finalize it bearing in mind that he/she has done the major part on the application. SO just be hopeful. It will end in good news.

Yes, I have requested.

This is a bit clear and easy to tackle

Issues with the application
1. The funds in your spouse's account was not enough to cover for Tuition, Living expenses and flight costs.
2. You did not provide statement of account from your parent to show their own funds that they claimed will be used in the affidavit.

Suggested way forward
1. Increase the POF in your spouse's account and where there are lump sums, please explain them with documentary proofs. Also add documents to prove his sources of income.
2. If you are still adding your parent as sponsors, please get their statement of account and show documents that proves their sources of income.

Sorry sir/ma
Is it all colleges or universities refund the tuition fee if they refuse the visa?

Each College/University has their refund policy, so check the one you are interested in to know what theirs is. Most will refund when you have been refused a visa but they will deduct administrative charges.

Hello, I am in the same situation with you, I have applied and got denied twice using agents. Now I want to apply by myself. I want to apply for a family of 3, student permit, sowp and for our baby.
Please what are the documents you used and how much was in your pof?

Sorry about the refusal.

Please have you requested for GCMS notes for the refused applications? That will help tackle the actual reasons for refusal. If you have, you can share here so that the house can advise you.

We are talking about admission u are talking about PAL, sebi na person way get admission go request for PAL...u think agent fit help person apply for masters...do u know the process of gaining admission for masters program U think u can apply for most masters program in universities without getting a supervisor first?? When I said I have come across masters students in universities, especially western university, u think i am talking by speculations and which i believe it might be applicable to all......like I said, anywhere I come across ur opinion, I will just waka pass....as for me CASE CLOSED....

Yes sir. I'm going for a Masters with a first year tuition scholarship.

He is supposed to be my sponsor. My worry is if it will fly considering he is my sponsor and also going with me.

If you are able to show enough POF that will cover for both of you then it is fine, in addition, you will need to show strong economic ties to Nigeria from your spouse and yourself- Things like present work he/you do, landed properties, investments in Nigeria and family relationship that will bring you back to Nigeria.

Hello everyone, please I need a clarification on this, I want to defer my spouse admission to September 2024 as application is now 16weeks after submission.. last update on tracker shows 3rd of April, school resumes first week of May 2024. If new offer letter is issued do we need to inform IRCC about the new start date?

Yes you have to so that the validity of the SP will cover the lenght of the new start date.
16 weeks is a long time though. Request for your GCMS notes to just to see what has been done on the application.
