Hello Guys.
I am trying to remember two songs from the 2000s .
chorus
*zebe zebe zabu zebe zabu zebe . That is all I remember the guy was on a beach holding a guitar

*song 2

Come to me I am , I am . come to me I am, I I I I am the man for you .
song 2 had heavy rotation on AIT.

You lack home training or common sense. its obvious you are still a child.

O my God! I thought I had already posted it!

There were two unusual discs in that stack of records. Almost all the records were black, but Boney M's Holi-Holiday was translucent yellow and this beautiful song was on a white record.

This song is just absolutely wonderful. You know how much I love disco music and string orchestras. This is the ultimate disco ballad.

Barry White - Just The Way You Are (1978).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UNPdRTERLnU

Just the Way you are was originally Sung by Billy Joel about a year earlier in '77 ( If I am not mistaken).
There is no Stevie wonder record on this thread. Wasn't he a thing in Nigeria in the 70s.
SN: There is a song for every situation in life on Stevie's Songs in the Key of life album. #AbsoluteClassic

The other song.

Tina Charles - I Love To Love (1976).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dSuulW6XqSA

This song was playing in my mind as I was reading this thread. I was surprised to see it.
Even though I am not 30 yet I am familiar with most of the foreign songs. Your knowledge of good music is rare. You should start a blog or a radio show to pass on this knowledge.

Properties / Re: Five Reasons Investing In Real Estate Is Better Than Saving In Te Bank. by Bodun88: 8:31am On Nov 05, 2017
LeoT1:
Good write up but the realities on ground are very different. I was an advocate of real estate and I have invested millions into property (houses, flats, lands, shops etc) over the last 5 years. I took time to do the maths recently and I realised that the opportunity cost clearly outweigh the ROI from these ventures. Here are the facts:
1. I had an opportunity to invest on treasury bills or by a shop in lekki for 5m . I opted for the later. The rental income was a paltry 250k per annum gross without discounting for maintenance cost and estate management agent cost. The asking price of the shop today is 6m. At treasury bills rate was 18% for 5 years. Do the maths.

I have other experiences that are less palatable than this. Rental income is normally between 5 to 7%. Normal property appreciation could even be lower. There are "trophy property " that could bring a lot of returns but they are one and far between. Go to the cemetery of lost investments from real estate, you may never touch it again from a dozen feet away. Remember only successful cases make the news. It's like a lottery.

Thanks a lot for this. So true. These real estate marketers are in it for their pockets. If you want to own a property for the sake of it, all well and good. But if you want a get rich quick scheme then you might be on a long thing. Someone up there wants to invest 100k, I'm sure its one square meter of land he wants to buy.

If the answer to all this is YES, then no P but if NO.............it might be them. But I might also be wrong tho.

The reason I am here is because my cousin who is a nairalander, who also has interest in joining the Nigeria police force told me everything about this page and I have been observing those who joined this thread to purportedly scam those who are vulnerable.

They come here to incur pressure on them by announcing dates for the screening to make them fall victims. It's fraudsters strategy and if you are not smart enough you fall for it.

The strategy is this; they will announce date then the pressure on you would make you want to send them pm because their thought is many applicants have nobody to help them and thereafter, they would tell you they have a very influential person who can help you. When it's not happening they come back here to announce the date has been shifted to another date.

Please be aware that a single person is using different monikers to put pressure on you guys. No date has been officially announced. So, stay calm and wait for the date.

MY 2 Cents!
Very good point. Nairalanders beware
