Wow!
Pharmacy is a noble profession that benefits a person irrespective of age.
During my days as a Pharmacy student, we had elderly people in our class.

As men of honour we join hands

Wow! Which school did you finish from and what year did you pass out?

Health / Re: Amina Ibrahim Dies Of Stevens-Johnson Syndrome In Kano After Taking Septrin by bolade18(m): 12:32am On Jun 08, 2016
Take special care with Septrin
Potentially life-threatening skin rashes (Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis) have been reported with the use of Septrin appearing initially as reddish target-like spots or circular patches often with central blisters on the trunk. Additional signs to look for include ulcers in the mouth, throat, nose, genitals and conjunctivitis (red and swollen eyes). These potentially life-threatening skin rashes are often accompanied by flu-like symptoms. The rash may progress to widespread blistering or peeling of the skin. The highest risk for occurrence of serious skin reactions is within the first weeks of treatment.
If you have developed Stevens-Johnson syndrome or toxic epidermal necrolysis with the use of Septrin you must not be re-started on Septrin at any time. If you develop a rash or these skin symptoms, stop taking Septrin, seek urgent advice from a doctor and tell him that you are taking this medicine.
Before you take Septrin, tell your doctor or pharmacist if:
you have severe allergies or asthma
you have been told that you have a rare blood problem called porphyria, which can affect your skin or nervous system
you don’t have enough folic acid (a vitamin) in your body – which can make your skin pale and make you feel tired, weak and breathless. This is known as anaemia
you have ever had jaundice which can cause yellowing of your skin or the whites of your eyes
you have a problem with your metabolism called phenylketonuria and are not on a special diet to help your condition
you are elderly
you are underweight or malnourished
you have been told by your doctor that you have a lot of potassium
in your blood.
you have been told by your doctor that you have an abnormally low level of sodium in your blood.
you have been told by your doctor that you have any serious disorders of the blood and blood forming tissues (haematological disorders) E.g. low blood cell counts.
If you are not sure if any of the above apply to you, talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Septrin.

....My advise, set ur priorities straight....make a list, perhaps a scale of preference or wants....you ll see that it is the last thing you wanna do now...
...Like a yoruba wise words, it says ' asiko ni gbogbo nkan'...it means there is time for evrything.....i hope am correct sha

....A time will come you ll have more than enough...a time will u ll be selecting the best n pickn the ones you want....Just be yourself now

obiscolly: when you are man enough to cope with the responsibility involved in keeping one, taking into consideration the fact that your education should be priority.
Thanks bro. I'm a 200L pharmacy student at CMUL and i know education is priority but the girl i'm having crush on is my classmate. We are very good friends and i get nervous whenever she's around. I have a feeling that i'll keep distracting myself if i don't open up to her. What do you suggest i do??

temigracie: ...Can you handle heart-breaks??....Can you resolve issues maturely??....can you combine it with other important things without causing any distractions whatsoever??
To be frank, i don't think i can do all these. I'm actually scared of heart-breaks and break-ups and also i'm someone who is focus and i don't want to get distracted from my academics because i want to make my parents proud!!
But i think i'm just obsessed on having one because some of my friends(girls especially) ask me about her.
