On your gckey there is a part that shows eligibility review against it ircc will write we have started reviewing your eligibility that's how you know the eligibility review has started

First your agent need to be schooled NSE is a new program called Nigerian students express the goal of this new method of visa processing is to process applications that qualify for this method within 28 days but due to the fact that it's a new method and several backlogs, covid and the likes the processing sometimes don't come as fast as that under this stream
What does NSE entails
You're required to submit an IELTS result with 6.0band scores in overall reading, writing, speaking, and listening respectively
You must provide a mybankstatement with 30kCAD for 6 months and a one year transaction history
Mind you being processed under NSE or Normal route will give you the same outcome either approval or refusal
IRCC will send you a request letter if you qualify for NSE, if you don't respond after 30days you will then be processed normally, so stop worrying yourself about NSE it's not as important as you think
It has nothing to do with you being approved

I applied for my study permit on 15th of October 2020
Got my PPR 5th of Jan
Travelled to Canada on the 18th of Feb
Applied for visiting visa for hubby and daughter on the 5th of March
Got their approval on the 29th of March (Hubby missed the email so we just found out yesterday)
PS: I applied for visiting visa for hubby because he will be returning to Nigeria after bringing my daughter. Otherwise a SOWP is the right application for those who want to stay.

I am a pharmacist by profession and I got admission to the University of Alberta for Masters in Public Health:Occupational Health for Fall 2021 with no option to defer.
I am about to start the Study permit application and want to know if it is feasible to get the permit on time before school resumes in September (I intend to go through the NSE route).

I have about N2m saved in my account and my main sponsor is my mother. Although she doesn't have the money in her account, she is planning on applying for an N8m loan from her office cooperative to give to me to aid my application. In total I would have N10 million in my account. My tuition fee for a year is about N4.5 million and the $10k Cad for living expense is also about N3.5 million making N8m naira and I have N10m.

My question is this;
Is N10 million naira enough to show as proof of funds (considering it covers my 1 year tuition and living expense with some extra money left), or would I need an additional sponsor.
Also, is it advisable for my mum to send the loan she gets to me stating clearly that it is for school or would it be seen a suspicious amount in my account.
Would my mum also have to show her bank statement if all the money (N10m) is in my own account.

I would really appreciate it if the gurus in the house cam advise me better. Thank you.

10m is not a small money so long it covers your expenses for a year, and your mum can have the cooperative give a letter to support her claims on the loans to explain the source of the 8m, however you need to show you the vo how you intend to pay your subsequent fees for the second year. And you also have to show the vo that you and your sponsor are well established in Nigeria. The money can be sent into your account directly from the cooperative if you don't want to show your mum's acc statement especially if the only reasonable fund in her account is the 8m,once the 8m enters your account, a letter from the cooperative should follow to show the source of the 8m,and explain the mode of payment for the subsequent year of studies

Please is it possible to run a work visa to Canada? As the agent said two years 400k, 4 years 600k. That is the agent Josephstella whom I suspect is a scammer already.. relevant questions I asked just turned him off lol. Imagine Him telling me a company will do a visa for 400k for me for two years and people are not rushing through that route lol

Having read your GCMS notes, I cannot seem to see any negative feedback leading to the refusal. In fact, the Visa officer that did the initial review of your file has assessed you positively on all criteria even your study plan was okay by him/her. Are there any additional comments of the VO on the GCMS notes that are not visible here or this is all?

The reasons you kept above are just generic responses they always quote on correspondence refusal letters so we need the comments on the notes that lead to the refusal.

Overall, please don't give up, this is a positive sign you are very very close.

You have a lot of things wrong with your application, and my suggestion will be to use professional agents next time, you agent advised you wrong by asking you not to list your previous education, with an ND just go for an advanced diploma in the program relating to your ND program, and as regards your bank statement, you are highly favored for not getting a 5 year bam because that statement looks fraudulent, No bank will print a bank statement on a plain sheet without a letter head or stamp, I want to believe you also paid the agent to get you a bank statement which happens to be a fake bank statement, I really want to strongly advise us to desist from making payments to agents to get Account statement for you, it's a risky and a wrong move, you can contact me on bollybeejay@gmail.com I'm also an educational consultant who is also waiting to japa lol, I will post my timeline as soon as I also get a ppr

Your chances are slim because there is no sign of progression in your academics nor career, you should have gone for something related to microbiology, except you have a valid reason to explain to the vo why you are going for that program in Canada

There's something I feel we should correct here, I've observed so much and I see how we all bring down compensated agents at every opportunity, I believe there are good agents and there are bad agents, it's not fair if we have to generalize because the system has been infiltrated with all these agents who are after money, and I believe if an agent messed up an application, it's totally the fault of the applicant because it is your duty to follow whoever you paid bumper to bumper because it's your application and it's not a bad idea if you are curious about your application by asking questions and want to get involved, before you pay any compensated agent, kindly do your findings by questioning the agent and making the agent understand the kind of business relationship you want from him or her, if you're seeking for a study permit then I believe you must have attained a level of education to be able to ask questions and not just take whatever an agent shoves up your ass, make researches and be knowledgeable about what you wanna do before contracting it out so atleast you can have a level of participation, as it's easier to say we can all do it by ourselves the truth is, we can't all do it by ourselves, some are too busy because of work schedule, some needs guidance in terms of SOP, POF and some other cogent areas like documents merging and the right documents to use, that's why I believe we still need professional hands, if you're interested in a compensated agent who is up to the task, you can send a mail to bollybeejay@gmail.com it will end in praise for all ppr hopefuls

My school fee is about 12000CAD, how much of CAD should I have as proof of funds? You need 12000cad plus 10,000cad living expenses for a year and extra 2000cad for flight in ur acc

It depends on what the school requires of you as deposit, that will be stated in your admission offer letter
And yes you have to show that you will return after your studies with your sop and other supporting documents like existence of a business, family, proof of employment or even a simple affidavit of return

I've been a silent reader, but I had no choice than to register just to give a reply to your question as you are about to make a delicate move, no body was able to answer your question, my hope was to register when I come to share my ppr news.
Now if I get you correctly, you applied for a temporary resident visa which actually is the right move, your study permit only get stamped at the Port of entry at the airport, so you need no special procedure to apply for study permit, either you're applying for visiting or study visa you will have to apply for the temporary resident visa which gives you the authorization to travel to Canada's port of entry, your study permit is then affixed on your entry into Canada, so do not withdraw your application as you have made the right application, I hope that answers your querry
