Politics / Re: Ikechukwu Ohakwe, A Nigerian Soldier Dies In Road Accident (photos) by Bollyfag: 11:38pm On Jul 20, 2019 |
Most of the news on Nairaland cannot be trusted anymore. This particular news is fake as the late officer died in an accident on his way to or from Serti Taraba State, where he was participating in a conversion course. It has nothing to do with Boko haram. 18 Likes 3 Shares |
Crime / Re: Blogger Abdulhakeem Bauchin Bauchi Killed After He Went Missing. Graphic PICS by Bollyfag: 8:31am On Mar 17, 2017 |
The killings and maimings get worse day by day. I pray his killers get their rewards soon while his soul rest in peace with his creator. And for us all, may we never be victim(s) of any of life's circumstances. 14 Likes 1 Share |
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: FG Approves Additional N4500 Monthly Electronic Device For N-power Beneficiaries by Bollyfag: 10:54pm On Mar 14, 2017 |
The npower programme by the Federal Government is such a commendable scheme. I can relate to the relief the stipend brings monthly, as little as it seems. May God continue to lead our leaders right. 1 Like 1 Share |
Politics / Re: Fuel Scarcity Hits Benin City by Bollyfag: 11:45am On Feb 28, 2015 |
Hoarding and inflation of PMS trendy here in Akure, Ondo state. Efforts by anchors of various radio stations to speak with the PENGASSAN(not sure of the acronym) executives proved abortive as they claim they were in a meeting yesterday. |

elbinmanny: How daft people can be! General Muhamadu Buhari clocked 72 on 17th December, 2014. Meanwhile the date on your 'report' reads October, 2014. Even the devil mavels at your lies and desperation. Liar! 1 Like |

elbinmanny: Is Buhari responsible for your inability to spell 'surname' correctly too? You had better remove the log in your eye first. |

The warning strike action is restricted to Enugu only. They've got a problem with the Enugu state government. |

Smooth278: Really?Yet, so confident despite his ignorance...so pitiable! Anyway, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) issued a circular authorizing the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) to approve licenses for the importation of In -Vitro Diagnostics (IVDs), and not IVF only as wrongly portrayed here. These include all reagents and materials used for diagnostic works. Same dummies who repeated classes in medical schools are the same class who come out to make the most disturbing noises. Empty heads! |
Culture / Re: Mrs Dike An Igbo Citizen To Become The First Female OBA In Yoruba by Bollyfag: 10:24am On Jan 04, 2014 |
I can't stop laughing. It's a tradition in Akureland that the first female child of an Oba (traditional head), is made regent (one who rules during the minority, absence, or disability of a monarch) after the demise of her father. Women aren't corronated in Yorubaland. Her duty is to occupy her father's vacant sit, while ensuring the wellbeing of the kingdom; pending the time a new monarch is appointed from another ruling house/clan, by the kingmakers (the afobaje's'). The process is repeated if d appointed Oba dies again in future. Examples of places ruled by regents who are daughters of late Obas include Ido-ani and Uso in Ondo state. |
