Most of the entertainers vying for a political seat in the South West have all lost out. 9ice, D1 Adeneye, Tony Tetuila, and Kenny Saint Best failed to win in the APC primaries, making Desmond Elliot the only celebrity who emerged successful in the All Progressive Congress' ticket for States House of Assemblies which held yesterday, Tuesday December 2.

Abolore Adigun aka 9ice was defeated in Ogbomoso, Oyo State despite his massive campaign and riding on horseback...

Tony Tetuila also witnessed defeat as he failed to get the Irepodun constituency in Kwara State ticket. Another artiste who failed to get the APC nod is singer Kenny Saint Best who was dusted by the son of APC chieftain and National Publicity Secretary, Lai Mohammed, Folarin Mohammed for Onigbongbon, Ikeja 01.


On his part, Dayo 'D1' Adeneye, lost to Ogun state Governor Ibikunle Amosu's ex-Special Adviser on Education, Adebowale Ojuri for the Odogbolu House of Assembly ticket.

However, Desmond Eliot defeated the incumbent - Kabir Lawal to win the ticket for Surulere Constituency I in Lagos.
