The issue of the uncertainty surrounding the proposed acquisition of Shell assets alone should make one cautious of the stock. Even though of recent there are indications of wavering on the part of government, probably showing the level of lobbying, and "Ejoor Sir", going on. You wonder how a regulator that withheld consent because they assessed the companies acquiring the assets as incapable of managing the assets will now say they are reconsidering. Can the companies acquire that competency overnight?

That information is not correct. An insider told me they will overcome their forex loss challenge in short term. Plus they are currently expanding their Shagamu factory.

I strongly believe they will survive the forex loss tide as DS, MTN and PZ all will.

I intend buying it, but the moment the CFO mentioned that, it is a caution for me. He even said govt need to safe the FX as the main solution because MTN is efficient in their operations.

According to the CFO interview, high FX rate was not what culminated into MTN 2023 loss. Rather, it was instability in exchange rate which means the company financial plan was distorted because the naira devaluation happened in the middle of the year 2023.

He said if the FX rate is fixed eventhough high, the company can do its plan with it and make profit.

I believe MTN will factor in FX volatility in their 2024 business plan and cash flow because of its awareness. The policy came mid 2023 and distrupted many business plans

So MTN might most likely have a positive Q1 result cos its business plan would have factored in FX volatility and every business plans to profit.

Please I need a guidance. I ordered an item on Ali express in September 2022. As at when it arrived at my destination, I went for work at a remote area. So I could not be reached. When I got back, I received a message that the item had been returned to the warehouse. I phoned Speedaf (the local logistic provider) and they promised to process the item to be returned to me. Meanwhile my Aliexpress account has automatically updated that I have received the item and so I can't open a dispute nor request for refund. Later in January Speedaf told me that they've returned the item back to Ali express. I've contacted the sellers but couldn't do anything about it.

What can I do to get my money back please?
