This also means some staffs will soon be promoted to fill the available senior staff positions

Its similar to what UBA did few weeks ago wer long time serving staffs were relieved. Some others were promoted, new employees wer recruited too and salary was increased by 50%-150%.

If FBN is doing smtn similar, i hope thy dnt forget d salary part

I didn't doubt the news... I made that statement because I feel that the rate of retrenchment within the banking industry in recent times doesn't feel good.

Yesterday, they relieved over 5k senior staff off their duties. So that means we're getting our paths cleared up, our triumphant entry is soon.

The members of staff they sacked are those that served for over 20years.

Let me tell a u story bt pls completely remove the bragging notion it might bring

During my nysc days, i was posted to Sapele. Wen i realised only wednesdays ws my busy day ( sch nd cds) , i moved to my cousins place in Warri nd got a teaching job (20k: To teach Pri1-5, Jss1-3 PHE) after explaining to dem dt am a corper and i wld b needing my wednesdays wich meant i wld close early(11am) on wed. This also means i travel to Sapele evry wed (35 mins journey) to do al nysc stuff (sch nd cds) nd return to Warri dt same day.

Inbetween juggling btwn Warri nd Sapele as explained above, doing lots of chores given to me by my cousin's wife ( You knw hw unnice female inlaws can be cos u r living wit dem), i was still preparing hard on my own (no lectures, no reading partner) for my ican exams (foundation level: all 5 papers). Guess wat, wen results came out i had d overall best result in the country including 2 out of 5 subject prizes getting over 90% in 3 out of 5 subjects at my first attempt at the professional exam. If you av anyone dt got inducted May 2019 after qualifying through nov 2018 diet, check the induction brochure, u wil find me there (As prize winner, foundation level)

So believe me wen i tell u dt if 'bank stress' and goldimx jam, bank stress go crumble ni!!!!!

Do you mean they are done with curricular activities only or they are completely done?

Thank God so far so good. Timely mail at the end of the year. May God preserve us all for the job.

The conversion staff are using 4weeks in Training school. Not 7weeks.

We getting ours mid January, that is after posting the conversion staff.

Those on ground to replace conversion staff wer sent D&M mail by the outsourcing firm (Whytecleon) on Tue. Dts after successful test, interview nd induction wich took place btwn Feb nd April ds year.
So i dnt knw if its a sign dt conversion staff will be going to TS b4 us

So hu wil thy reach out to 1st, GTs or Conversion staff?
I feel its GTs cos d recent email we received from them says d GT onboarding process is still ongoing

The 1st thing I'll suggest is to subscribe for email alerts on few job advertisement sites. U can google- ngcareers,jobberman,hotnigerianjobs, etc.



Secondly, get all ur documents ready in clear PDF,jpeg, doc format

Next is to follow each job application process described on the site being used for advertisement.

Also check nairaland for trends on each organisation recruitment. Many important updates can be found on nairaland. WhatsApp groups can be good too. Information for each stage (aptitude test, Interview, Assessment centre, etc) should be sought on time.

Thanks for the update bro. I believe each day brings us closer to TS, and let's not forget that disclosure of a non-approved date is unprofessional considering the nature of the industry/ethics. I just pray the whole stuff gets tidied up soon. Almost a year already.
