The PDP-backed media has just engaged in a needless spree of fake news. It wouldn't take time to notice if there is truly a crack in the relationship between the President and the VP.

All the reportages are false and they're all about 2023. The aim is to tarnish his image since he is likely to succeed the current President.

Vote-buying allegations didn't work, NEMA budget too was trashed, Slavabogu too, now it's FIRS and bad blood between him and the President.

He will survive.

All other business moguls from the SW should follow suit. We really PPP and CSRs to develop our region.

We are not people who will leave their erosion ravaged enclaves to build library in the president's home town for the sake of political favor.

By the time the DSS tells Timi Frank to come and prove his allegations, another style of uncontrolled wailings would emerge.

The VP should expect more barrage of false accusations from the PDP and its sponsored media. It's not new.

They are aware he is a capable hand who is likely to succeed the President in 2023 hence the scathing attacks against his person.

PDP is akin to someone who hardly learns from his mistakes.

You make yanga as you wish but know that you are gradually being demystified.

a) You lost woefully in the PDP guber primaries, coming a distant 4th.

b) You senatorial seat is shaky and you won't win if a rerun is conducted.

c) Saraki is no longer in the Senate so you can no longer run riot like you did in the 8th Assembly.

BTW, the powers that be have not forgotten how you came to disgrace yourself at Bourdillion some years ago, they will definitely strip you off of that political relevance.

Lol, baseless allegations against the VP, just because of 2023.

Buhari survived the onslaught using Fulani herdsmen. Osinbajo too will survive.

PDP isn't wise with the way they are going about their opposition, same strategy, same failure.

While Atiku as VP was busy undervaluing and selling off Nigeria's property to his cronies, PYO has been at the forefront of steering the economy for a better cause.

Carry on PYO.

If the cabal truly wanted to deal with the VP for the actions he took while he was VP, he wouldn't have been the running mate to the President in the second term election.

BTW, this cabal conspiracy theories are just BS, the President and his VP are surely on good terms and there is nothing the cabal (if they truly exist)can do to it.

This is not Yaradua's government where Saraki, Turai and Ibori were calling the shots. Moreover, PYO isn't just a newspaper reading VP like GEJ was under Yaradua, he has been the most active VP since the return of Nigeria to democracy.

The media has seen that the people have seen the truth about the Fulani herdsmen issue and there is really nothing to disparage the president with again.

Hence their focus on the VP. This is because they are thinking he would succeed the President in 2023. Mark it, more malicious releases are coming for VP Osinbajo and he knows it, the reason he hasn't responded.

There is no substance in all these spurious reports. They are all mere fabrications.

Politics / Re: Full Rehabilitation Of Refineries Begins January-NNPC by Bolustical: 10:25pm On Sep 21, 2019
The FG & NNPC are gradually waking to the reality that the completion of Dangote's refinery is imminent than ever.

And that he will be the most economically important figure in Nigeria after the FG itself and NNPC will likely be irrelevant in the scheme of tihngs.

It's never late than never.

With NNPC's 445k bpd+ Dangote's 650k bpd, Nigeria will not only meet her demand but will also meet that of her neighbours.

By then, subsidy should have been in the bin of our history.

Politics / Re: Lagos Releases List Of Critical Roads For Construction After Rainy Season by Bolustical: 7:50pm On Sep 21, 2019
Good one!

However, it is not enough constructing roads and not invest in traffic management.

Most gridlocks in Lagos are not as a result of bad roads but the behaviours of drivers left unchecked by the law enforcement agencies.

For instance, there should be less traffic at Obalende especially when coming from Falomo through Keffi Road/Dodan Barracks/St. Gregory Road /Passport Office.

The government recently installed traffic light there but people hardly obey it and there is no LASTMA to enforce it.

There are too many Keke riders and buses causing nuisance on that route.

Sanwo-Olu should better man up.

Same people that will block you immediately they think you insult them are saying FG should drop charges grin

A lot of social media critics cant take half of what they dish out consistently to the President.

Sowore himself has already said he was ready to go to jail and not afraid of the legal consequences of his actions.

So why the worry?

Nonsense. Drop what charges?

Kayode is only speaking for himself. Yele Sowore is his close friend, so I am not surprised.

Social media activists know how to protect themselves, Omojuwa, Kadaria, Deji have called for his release just because he is there friend.

Most of them went mute when Kanu was incarcerated.

Sowore started his music and dance to the tune.

Nigeria is greater than anyone.

APC should put their house in order.

Unnecessary internal wranglings among their bigwigs cost them Adamawa, Zamfara and Rivers states.

Same thing is currently happening in Edo state.

Internal democracy is always the way.

Domestic violence is wrong on all shades BUT I hardly comments on couples' marital problems coz we really don't know what happened between them.

Most times, the ones who played victims are always the villain.

Nobody knew Tonto Dike pushed Churchill's mother because she was angry until Churchill's younger brother revealed that.

Una no dey tire to dey scam Atiku?

Atiku has no case and those who surround him in the PDP know that, only that they want more dollars from Maidollar.

There 1999 Constitution and the Electoral Act as amended don't recognize electronic voting and transmission of results not to talk of an imaginary server.

Atiku can keep wasting his money.

PoliticalWitch:

1.I agree with you and gave you a like.

2.However, the reason for smuggling is simple. Petrol costs N145 here in Nigeria. In Niger and Benin it's N300 and above.per liter.

If you are a businessman, you would smuggle and make a good profit.

Also, subsidy on petrol amounts to 'price control'....which means , in essence, that Nigeria is finding it difficult to attract investors who would have helped us build more refineries...and by extension provide jobs (Subsidy is also preventing NNPC from making a profit...which is why they do all sorts of 'creative accounting' there to stay afloat.).

Removing subsidy means that marketers would be allowed to set their price. Yes, we would buy fuel at N300 AND above (which is how much they buy it in many West African countries).....but more investment would flow into refinereis among other things....and we would use the subsidy savings for other things . Like free education for the poor for example. Better railways.

Because APC does not want to lose votes...we keep subsidy, and at the end of the day, we end up with more and more smuggling. And we cannot keep the borders closed for ever. We are part of ECOWAS.
Smuggling is a criminal business.

Nigerians can't be subsiding the transportation of Beninoise, it is wrong.

Anyone caught should be prosecuted.
