This is a serious issue that must not be handled with kids gloves. The chaos that illegal mining birthed in Zamfara must not be repeated in any other parts of Nigeria. Governor Oyetola must press the FG to do the needful. BTW, the Ministry of Interior shouldn't be for declaration of public holidays alone. Channels killed this corper and they know it and they should be held liable for his death. Why send a corp member to any Shia gathering, whether peaceful or otherwise? We were here the other day when gunmen came for Bishop and unleashed terror on innocent worshippers in Ozobulu. Igbos on this forum were quick to shout herdsmen but investigation eventually concluded that the attacks were carried out by Igbos. Even in this case, the police is yet to confirm who the perpetrators are but the Catholic church had reached the conclusion. We are sitting on a time bomb. |
