Make we come pity you abi?

You want Biafra and the best strategy is to start by insulting all tribes.

You then graduate to denigrating our flag locally and internationally.

Furthermore, you went into histrionics and disobedience on any and every matter concerning the Nigerian state.

You then started to recruit an armed militia, burnt places of worship and police posts, killed members of our armed forces at the behest of your leader.

You have legislators who can push for your state yet you would never focus on them.

Get away with your silly country.

No one is fighting that you should not go to your own country, what I'm against is IPOB. No sane Igbo supports them. If you want Biafra carry your south east and leave south south out of your plans. I'm from South south before you think otherwise, IPOB got 5 states of Biafra to misbehave they should stop going to other regions to distabilize there. Your south east governors kill them even Peter Obi killed IPOB una no talk but una expect other governors to pet those criminals.

Wike and Umahi have literally carried it on their shoulders to oppose anything IPOB they are ready to even kill and maim to the admiration of their masters
Recently they were making pronouncements and admiring their strength in the massacre of innocent civillians in Obigbo.
Today, they are arch enemies because it has always been about foolish political interests and because of this they have denied their ancestry.
Wike doesnt know that the same promise they made to him that had him in a killing spree of his people was simultaneously made to another.
It has always been struggles to be in the good books of the caliphat
PoliticsThe Present Ohaneze Is The Very Worst Igbos Have Ever Got by Bonavi(op): 1:42pm On Nov 21, 2020
This present ohaneze is the very worst in the history of ndi Igbo.
The leadership is never stable in any issue. The plight of the ordinary Igbos, is the least in their mind.
Nnia Nwodo as far as am concerned is the very worst in leadership nuisance. He continue to jungle from one south east state government to the other begging for alms.

PoliticsIs Buhari Really Alive by Bonavi(op):
There is this claim that Buhari died in 2017 and the person acting as the president is not the real Buhari.
I have ofcourse never met General Buhari in person but I have seen several videos of him in 2015 campaigning and more videos of him as president within 2015 and 2016 which are still on the internet.
The person as Buhari in the videos of 2015 and 2016 seem slightly different from the person as Buhari in recent videos.
The older videos have a frail looking figure while the recent videos have a stronger personality.
Between 2015 and 2017 Buhari travelled for medical treatment a couple of times while since late 2017 Buhari have only travelled for medical check and relaxation.
Analysing the government from 2017, there seem to be no central commanding figure because a whole lot have been happening where there are expectation for that central commanding presidential figure which seem to be lacking since that period of time.
Watching Kanu's interview with Dele Momodu also revealed further to the belief that the person in aso rock is not the real Buhari...
Or may be it does not matter whether the person in aso rock is the real Buhari or not

Those Niger Deltans are the most myopic and uneducated people or educated Illiterates I've ever seen.
Yes educated Illiterates. Have they ever asked themselves this question, how possible is it that we are the only region with significant oil when the FG has never done oil exploration in SE and SW?
Why is it that those discovered in other regions are treated with dignity than ours?
Why is it that other regions hide their resources while our is voraciously sucked like a side chick's breast?
How possible is it that Niger manage to have uranium and lots of solid minerals and the North of Nigeria pose to have nothing until we mistakenly heard of Zamfara Gold?
For those that doesn't know, the North has more array of natural resources that they are hiding for the inevitable. For those that think north are, senseless, the state with the highest gold reserve in Nigeria is actually Sokoto but you won't see it as part of what Nigeria exports, why?
very sad

These BMC members are normally paid 30,000 monthly, that is what we have been told all along, Buhari will not be wicked enough to reduce their pay, he might just not increase it.

PoliticsNiger Deltans Are The Most Dehumanized People In Nigeria by Bonavi(op): 2:55pm On Nov 17, 2020
The region provides the revenue base of the country but nothing on ground to show for it.
The people over there are so docile that they keep watching as their God given resources are been exploited and carted away by outsiders.
Their water and land systematically been destroyed by oil spillage.
Outsiders are parted in the back with oil wells belonging to this people.
They once had opportunity by Jonathan's presidency but never controlled or benefited in that government.
Their politicians and elites become stooges to the detriment of their people.
During my service year in River state I found out that more than 90percent of that very state are very under developed and people there are living very poorly. The only place seem urbanized is just portharcourt.
My concern is, I dont see these people speaking out even on social media.
There are oil exploration in other regions which are systematically been reserved and the ND oil is been voraciously exploited.
What happens May be in 50 years when the oil in this region might have gone down and the land destroyed by oil spillage.
What happens then?

fergie001:
The section of the Country in "complete control" is not alone in this.

Do you really think the Section you speak about, is in "complete control" without collaborators?

Make no mistake, they gain overwhelming support from bigwigs in the "other Section" of the Country.

The people who went on burning houses, police stations and killing other Nigerians, were not from that Section of the Country in "complete control". Majority of those who cheered on when arson was been perpetrated and those who praised the military for been at Lekki, even here on Nairaland were not from the section in "complete control".

The truth is that even in our National Assembly today....you have Southern saboteurs whom for the sake of political expediency, selfish, personal or parochial reasons are in cahoots with those in "complete control".

Call for that boycott tomorrow, they will be the first to scuttle it.

It is not a helpless situation though, we can use our number and voices to correct especially our electoral process.

Just like no Politician can steal public funds without the help of a Civil Servant, those in "complete control" can never be successful without a co-conspirator from those with "incomplete control".

Peace bro
The country is in very dire situation and something must give.
Peace

Which of the Youths?
I gave you 3 honest pieces of advice above.

That number 3 is why most of the Northern Youths refused to participate in the recent ENDSARS protest.

Today, they had a meeting where they pledged that SARS should return, and also that the unity and indivisibility of Nigeria remains sacrosanct.

Number 3 is key and vital to any action(s) we intend to take, for or against boycott.

Boycott in a Country polarised as ours will not have that immediate effect....Education gap (most of the voters are in rural areas), severe poverty, premium on tribe & religion, etc.

What I believe we should challenge for now are the processes of our elections.
Electronic Voting, prosecution of election offenders (the real action of it), the actual INDEPENDENCE of INEC, etc.

If we can gain one or two with our voices before 2023, it is a big achievement.
Well I rest my case but I can tell u that without taking some drastic measures there is no way u can beat these politicians going by this ur idea. A section of the country is in complete control of the system and believe u me they do not subscribe to such civility. Talking about election boycott, if it can be achieved in the south, then that is huge step towards our emancipation.
Shalom

The same things will happen even if there is/was a boycott, and a winner will be declared.

You do not have a law that guarantees certain % of people to vote for the election to be legitimate.

So, if you don't vote...others will vote (even if it is one person) and a winner will be declared; only that this time the politician won't spend so much on vote-buying.

The criminality will be seamless.
u dont seem to understand my argument. The boycott am talking about is something that will be engaging. As youth came out in their numbers to protest youth will also come out to make sure there is total boycott and then see where we go from there

PoliticsRe: Have We Ever Considered Boycott Of Elections As Tool Against Bad Leadership by Bonavi(op): 7:47pm On Nov 16, 2020
fergie001:
Election boycott is a dangerous tactic and come with high consequences.

There must be an outright majority of the populace to stick out for it and even at that the effect is minimal unless there is a % of voter participation needed for the elections to go on or there are measures where the instruments of State cannot govern as a result of the boycott.

Can you guarantee that majority of Nigerians will boycott our elections?

We have had political parties boycott LG elections in Nigeria, does it prevent SIEC from handing the winners their CoRs?

Boycott is a last resort and unattractive to opposition political parties. Some parties called for it in the 1st Republic, it made no difference.

When you boycott an election, you have no locus to challenge that election; be it fraud, violence etc.

Election boycott impacts on the legitimacy of that election and not its final results.

ADVICE:
1. Go to the polls and vote.

2. Mobilise people and tell them about the dangerous consequences of collecting N2000 to vote in a Criminal.

3. Mobilise people and advise them on the futility of voting someone because he is from my tribe or from my church or is a Muslim.

Solve Number 3.....We have a better Nigeria.

Shalom!
Nigeria has gone beyond this ur idea because once there is voting, there is bound to be vote buying, partial umpires, ballot stuffing etc. Then there is majorly the unenlightened electorate. So at the end of the day some one between the two major political parties PDP/APC must emerge and the cycle continues

y that ur vote wont count is that u re voting the same kind of people into political offices.
The truth is that there is no difference between the two major parties. The act u see them performing are further to decieve us they see as very gullible.
They keep perfecting their games.
