This is disheartening. According to trending reports, a man cut off his brother's hand during a violent clash between them on Tuesday, December 25th at Otatubu in Nembe local government area in Bayelsa state.

It was gathered that the siblings had a misunderstanding with each other which later degenerated to a serious fight.

It was scooped that injured man whose hand was cut off allegedly carried a small knife in an attempt to stab his brother but failed. The brother went home and came back with a cutlass which he allegedly used in chopping off his sibling's left hand.

The wounded man was rushed to the hospital where he was treated.

Super Eagles star Alex Iwobi appeared confused over the formation Arsenal were playing against Brighton as he replaced Mesut Ozil at half-time.

The 22-year-old midfielder replaced Ozil in midfield at half-time and the Nigerian international was captured on television cameras asking team-mate Granit  Xhaka what formations Arsenal were playing.

He appeared to ask Xhaka: “What formation are we playing.”

Arsenal went on to draw the game as the league’s top goal scorer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang opened the scoring before Jurgen Locadia equalised.

Fans on social media had a field day on the back of the exchange between the two Gunners stars, with one tweeting: "Iwobi didn't even know what formation Arsenal were playing."

A chaotic scene was recorded at a live concert in Lagos when two men decided to slug it out publicly - leaving other guests shocked and terrified.

The unfortunate incident happened at the ‘Burna Live’ hosted by musician Burna Boy on the 26th of December, 2018 at Eko Convention Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The concert which was undoubtedly one of the most discussed musical occasions of the year – saw the two grown up men fight each other with free flow of punches and slaps. It is alleged that an aggrieved husband attacked the other man for attending the concert with his wife.

According to reports, the men were later removed from the event by the security men.

Efforts are being made to locate a 20-year-old lady identified as Laura Tamabari Atih, who is said to be missing in Port-Harcourt, Rivers state. 

According to reports, the young lady left home for work on 15th December and hasn't been seen since then (almost two weeks now). 

The mother of the missing girl who is a widow, burst into tears while narrating the story of her missing daughter, Laura Tamabari Atih.

The woman who is very worried, said since the ugly incident on the 15 December 2018, eating and sleeping has been difficult for her. 

The mother said if not for prayers and the other three children, life was gradually becoming meaningless without seeing her daughter.

She appealed to all security agencies to assist in rescuing her daughter.

A mild drama ensued on Tuesday, December 25th, when police officers tried to arrest a Nigerian drug dealer in South Africa.

According to reports, the Nigerian drug dealer was accosted by the security operatives in Sunnyside, one of the oldest suburbs of the city of Pretoria, South Africa, following a tip-off.

When the policemen tried to arrest the suspect, he refused and struggled with them - thereby causing a huge scene in the area. 

It is claimed that in the course of the struggle, the suspect's friends smuggled the drugs away and allegedly tried to take the guns from the plain-clothed police officers. 

The suspect was later arrested after minutes of resistance.

Despite repeated warnings that women should avoid sending their nude pictures to male partners in the name of love, a lady who refused to be wise is now regretting her action.

A Nigerian woman has got herself trending online after her nude picture was posted on social media and has now gone viral. 

According to multiple Facebook users, the woman's picture which was taken in a hotel - was allegedly released by her embattled lover following a dispute between them which made them break up.

It was gathered that the now ex-lover allegedly tried to blackmail the lady into paying an undisclosed amount of money all to no avail, hence the nude picture was released online.

Here are pictures of gang members arrested along with notorious Boko Haram Commander, Umar Abdulmalik yesterday in Lagos.

Umar Abdulmalik and seven (7) other members of his gang were responsible for the Nyanya and Kuje bombings of 2015, the killings of seven (7) Police Officer in Galadimawa roundabout on 2nd July, 2018 and the killings of two (2) other Police Officers around Abaji in June, 2018 and one (1) Police Officer in Lugbe, Abuja on 4th November, 2018.

Umar Abdulmalik (one of the most wanted Boko Haram terrorists, a leader of the Boko haram cell in Kogi State, and an explosive expert for the insurgence group) who masterminded the Nyanya and Kuje bombings in Abuja in 2015, killings of seven (7) Police Officer in Galadimawa roundabout on 2nd July, 2018 and the killings of two (2) other Police Officers around Abaji in June, 2018 and one (1) Police Officer in Lugbe, Abuja on 4th November, 2018 was arrested yesterday, 20th December, 2018 by the IGP Intelligence Response Team (IRT) led by DCP Abba Kyari in a location at Ibafo, Lagos while receiving treatment from the bullet wound he sustained on 26th November, 2018 at Bassa village, off Airport road, Abuja during exchange of gun fire with the operatives of the Intelligence Response Team when seven(7) of his gang members were Subsequently arrested within Abuja, Niger and Kogi States.

Investigation is being intensified to arrest other members of the Boko Haram cell under the control of Umar Abdulmalik and other suspects connected to the crimes the gang have committed. All the suspects confessed to the crime and admitted to their various criminal roles they played in the commission of the crimes.

A lady who is set to get married in few weeks time - has taken to social media to share her love story and how she constantly rejected her fiance. 

According to Chisom Nzekwe, despite the public embarrassments her partner received and being told outrightly that it won't work out between them, the young man persevered and is set to officially reap the fruit of his labor come January 3rd, 2019.

The Anambra State Police Command has apprehended two murder suspects. According to police report, on Monday, 17/12/2018, following a tip-off, police detectives attached to Central Police Station Onitsha arrested the murder suspects identified as Okoronji Emeka, aged 24 years and Umezinwa Val, aged 24 years.

The suspects had on the 5/12/2018 lured one Gold Gift aged 35 years into a hotel and killed her after having unlawful carnal knowledge with the victim.

Meanwhile, preliminary investigation further revealed that the victim was later taken by the hotel staff and dumped at BSMG roundabout Onitsha without informing the Police.

Consequently, three of the hotel staff including the manager one Mr Ekene Gabriel , the Bar man one Tom Bishop Emmanuel and the gate man one Arume Ifeanyi Godwin were also arrested.

Case under investigation after which suspects would be charged to Court for prosecution.

Men of the Department of State Services' (DSS) and Nigerian Army invaded the Gongono forest in Tangaza Local Government Area, Sokoto state. 

The security operatives engaged the Malian Militia who were struggling to establish a training base for Hard-line extremists Ideology in the area .

Some extremists were killed in the process. .

It was also gathered that the jihadists flag which is their symbol of authority with Islamic inscription similar to that of Alshabab, was recovered during the raid.

Men of the Nigerian police command have apprehended a member of a notorious syndicate of kidnappers terrorizing Faskari local government area of Katsina state.

Nemesis caught up with the suspect when he and other members of his gang invaded the house of one Alh Nasiru Bala ‘m’ of Kamfanin Daudawa village, Faskari LGA of Katsina state with intent to kidnap him.

The suspect confessed to have participated in several other similar kidnappings in Faskari LGA of Katsina state. Investigation is ongoing.

The state police command also succeeded in arresting a notorious armed robbery/kidnapping syndicate and recovered one new brand Toyota Hilux pick-up van, tinted, white in colour, unregistered, chassis number TEK 129807062038 suspected to be stolen.

Police Patrol Team on routine patrol along Dutsinma – Katsina road, intercepted the vehicle with the following occupants:

a. Isah Usaini, ‘m’, alias “FULANI”, aged 28yrs of Tashar Tsamiya village, Anchau LGA of Kaduna state.

b. Sa’idu Sale, ‘m’, aged 19yrs, of Zungur-Kogi village, of Bauchi state.

Suspects with others at large, confessed to have robbed the said vehicle at gun point near Fatima House, Abuja. Investigation is ongoing.

Three young ladies have got themselves trending on social media after sharing some unusual pictures online. The ladies who stripped off for a photo-session in a studio - covered their modesty with only towels. 

While internet users are trying to fathom the reason for the unusual photo-shooot, it has been claimed that this was done to celebrate one of the friends' birthday, a report which is yet to be confirmed.

However, the trending pictures have got mouths wagging all over the internet with some criticizing the ladies for the pictures and others defending them.

Three ladies were humiliated after they were allegedly caught stealing cloths in a boutique.

According to a report by Facebook user James who lives in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state capital, the ladies who pretended to be customers were nabbed red handed by one of the staff at the boutique after suspecting their movements.

Upon being searched, clothing items were found in their possession. 

The ladies were forced to sit on the ground and were filmed by the workers who blasted and embarrassed them.

Further details were not given as it was gathered that the staff contemplated on handing the suspects over to the police for prosecution.

This is very shameful. Two women engaged themselves in a brutal fight which left both of them seriously wounded. 

In a trending video posted online by Facebook user James Adeyemi who stays in Lagos, the women can be seen fighting - with one of them bringing out a small knife to stab the other. 

While they were dragging the knife, the other woman told her young son to rush to the kitchen and get her another knife which she used in stabbing her rival. 

While the fight was going on, onlookers who gathered allowed them to fight without any interruption as it was alleged that the women had been quarreling for a longtime in their neighborhood. 

The fight was later separated after much stabbings and injuries from the women.
