A deserving tribute to a very talented individual who, in his brief stay on earth, managed to represent !

I beg to disagree - in Nigeria of today, especially when it comes to our rulers, keeping abreast of certain things is a big deal !

I cannot recall the two predecessors of Jonathan suggesting that they would join a social network site. Am not even sure whether they even know how to operate a computer.

What are governments for ?

We all know that Jonathan being on Facebook or on any other social networking site will not automatically solve the problems of Nigeria. That fact is not in contention.

However, it is uplifting to say the least that the current President of Nigeria is, for all it is worth, at least thinking about keeping abreast with the times. It is a step, ever so small I agree, in the right direction !

Personally, I think the whole team and Nigeria's intention to participate in the world cup should be dropped. We can do much better things with the huge amount of money which will be expended on this football jamboree !
