I initially received an offer through whois privacy mail a month earlier before this sale from a developer/domainer saying his client is interested and has a budget of $1.5k. I totally ignored the offer because of his presentation, he said in his mail that he knew "it's a few month old".. I was like "and so what?".
Exactly a month later, I received a $2k offer thru afternic broker while my asking price was just $6.5k. After some back and forth, we settled for $4.7k.

I, unfortunately, have just been diagnosed with Glaucoma and therefore might not be able to buy and outbound domains like I'd have been doing. I'll be limiting the use of computer and phones so as not to increase pressure and further strain my optic nerves as advised by medical experts. I was told it's hereditary but to the best of my knowledge, no one in our family history or ancestors have had something like that, but it's ok.

I would advise everyone to do regular med check up. Thanks to all who have been helpful in making this thread worthwhile. God bless you all richly!

I'm finally ready to invest in this domain business. I've read page 1-200,some parts of this 2000+ pages and done some research on my own...and I pray I make my first million before I'm 19. With all I've read,I have some questions which I hope bosses in the house will help me answer.
1) Can I use the MasterCard of any bank to buy any expired domain (I hope to use Godaddy)?
2) Is PayPal and domiciliary account the only means of receiving payment in any marketplace?
3) what about bitcoin? Does any marketplace accept it as a means of receiving payment?
4) what other tool is used to check if people search for a word apart from Google keyword tool? Cause I don't understand how to navigate the site.
