cant browse since morning too

Toluway: It's like a simple market scenario. If no one is willing to buy at his price, his shares will remain un-bought. Simple. No one will do anything about that. The stock will remain on the canter until it appreciates and meets his price, if otherwise, nothing will happen.

Ok !How does a share price reduce if all un-bought share remains on the canter until it appreciates? Because from the rookie's viewpoint, share price becomes bearish when people willing to sell are more than those willing to buy.
So does that means the shareholders determines a share's price(If they are willing to sell a N25/share stock as at low as N10/share)?

Born2berich: 1. I am not sure but i believe the bid bargain actually determines the closing price of a listed company.

2. Visit www.marketwatch.ng for the buy/sell volume of the day. Also, if you are a register client of meritrade, you will definitely receive this info in soft copy to your mail box.

Toluway: The amount at which each unit of a stock is available for purchase, and the amount at which shareholders are willing to buy each unit of the stock will invariably determine the price of the stock.
Put in another way, the total amount in Capitalisation divided by the total number of shares outstanding will give you the exact price of the stock at sny point in time.

Please take a look at this case study; if at the opening of trading a share price is put at N25/share, a particular desperate shareholder is willing to sell his 5000shares, and no one seem to be willing to buy at that price. Now my question:
1) Is it the NSE that will reduce the price until a buyer is found?
2) If Yes;
i. at what rate will it reduce?
ii. will the reduced amount be the new overall closing price for that particular company?

Good day stockbrokers and savvy investors. Having rummaged through the internet for over an hour,
I still couldn't find answers to these two questions:

1. What really determines the closing share price of a company(I know what causes the bears and the bulls),
but who determines the margin of reduction or increase? Example start price : N12.50, Closing price : 12.45
Is there a formula to determine the margin?

2. Does anybody know a site where i can get the buy/sell volume for the day on the NSE?

You are so on point. A few years back, at the university of ibadan a girl went to preach inside a mosque and she was beaten to a state of coma by the worshippers even the so called undergraduates. If not for the police she could have died.
I don't support her going to the mosque to preach but just to give you an idea of the kind of violence that runs in their blood.

It is extremely awkward, if not annoying, to someone like me who was born and reared in an almost 99% Muslims community. Hitherto I didn’t know that being Muslim means that much and weighs that loads; some feel even reluctant to disclose their belief. Muslims living in multi-religious and non-Muslims majority societies today have a lot of stories to tell. The story is sometimes nasty in conservative, religiously touchy and volatile places like India, where I presently reside. Although home to about 200 million Muslims, it was discovered in a recent survey that some of them have to masquerade as Hindus to sustain their businesses. This happens due to the schism, and sometimes animosity, between them and other faithful, particularly the majority Hindus.

But why all the fuss and the buzz, you may ask. Generally identity, especially religious one, is highly polemical and extremely abstract. For instance, my ‘Muslimness’ is neither determinable based on my appearance and gait, nor proportional to my humanity and humane. Despite the whopping population of more than 1.5 billions worldwide, hundreds of millions of Muslims live in shambles due to the raging religious stereotype, which results to marginalisation and sometimes worse, as aforesaid. Needless to say, the reports of suicide bombs and other terror acts allegedly perpetuated by some miscreants calling themselves Muslims is a commonplace today. Al Qaeda, IS/ISIS, Boko Haram, etc are household names around the world. But this can’t and shouldn’t, nonetheless, justify the unjust treatment of others who can equally be victims of those murderers.

Ironically however, the few who subscribed to it always make the news headlines, while others who are paragons of moderation and peace loving lots are barely heard of on the mostly western and western-influenced media. Chicjennie: My dear, all papers seemed embarrassingly easy O as against d normal ICAN standard. But I'd still say that FA was most and IT was the least as usual. MA too was another give away. Infact at some point I had to check the question papers in d hall if the FA and MA weren't FFA and Costing cos trust me, the FA and MA were easier than FFA and CQT I wrote in Foundation and Intermediate respectively.
