Nice one bro.
You did not tell us the car used. Max speed attained. Average speed.. And any observations...

Thanks. You can checkout part 3 to see the top speed attained. The speed data for part 1 & 2 somehow got corrupt, but it was in excess of 140km/h. Speedometer of Part 3 is on display in the video, you can see some sample shots from the video wink

This is a highspeed journey from Lagos - Nnewi. How fast can it be done? With all the illegal checkpoints along the Sagamu - Benin expressway? You can find out by watching from Part 1 to Part 3.
Part 3 is very interesting because of the highspeed overtakes and the sections along the highway are very smooth and clean.
For those that will make the journey this holiday season, you can see how the highway looks like.

Nice video but learn to go straight to the point...you were beginning to beat around the bush at the opening.

Interesting and well detailed five point agenda for the administration. But that water scheme agenda is it really possible in this our time? Especially when a good amount of houses now have access to borehole. Well done

Thanks and your point is taken.

One reason i love this youtube channel is that it strives to add some quality to its videos. I love how the channel announced the results and made it look like CNN. The dude really has a very good taste.

I love his 5-point agenda too. The dude often thinks deep on every issue. Although the water issue is going to be problematic. Nonetheless, it will be nice to have.

I think the roads agenda especially using concrete and direct labor is key. The billions of naira saved by using direct labor can easily translate into the magic of paving all roads at once as he advised.

Industrial parks powered by independent power plants and light rail linking those parks to markets and airports should be considered.

Thanks for your wonderful compliments smiley

Payload capacity it is rated as a light railway it can only do under 20 tons per wagon. Show us the trains carry fully loaded containers you cannot. You cannot talk about Nigerians most of them are illiterate they do not even know what happens in their own country. I am telling you I am working on the project and the trains are only meant to carry passengers not luggage or goods. Look at Kenya railway network is carrying top 40 ft containers one on top of the order. Lagos-ibadan railway cannot even carry one fully loaded 40 ft container. If you are not working on the project it is better you just keep quiet

You need to provide a source for the bolded. The contractor transports tons of granite on this line daily. (more than ~240 tons, assuming 30 x 8 in the picture)

The Lagos Ibadan railway will be used to transport containers from Apapa port to many Nigerian western cities and Niger Republic when all sections of the Western railway are ready.

mrvitalis:

It makes really no Sense from an economic point of view for a broke country with Nigeria

Spending billions for a rail that would contribute less than $100 million a year to our GDP

But investing $4 billion dollars to our transmission line that's controlled by the federal government would push our transmission capability to around 12,000MW and since we already have that installed capacity ...power generation n production would average around 10,000mw this would double our current state

Benefits millions far more than rail

Contribute over $50 billion to our GDP

A $6.5 billion contract for the upgrade of electric power transmission that will push the wheeling capacity to 25,000MW is currently ongoing, in fact some DISCOs are currently distributing free pre paid meters as part of the project... More details in this video.
