Reflect7: Are you alright at all? Where exactly have you been in Europe of North America, that you're arguing blindly that trains breakdown daily? |
Re: Nigeria's Railway Revolution (Pictures) by Cognitivereason: 11:40am On Sep 28, 2021 |
That was an exaggeration ...the point is train break down all-around the globe.... In Nigeria it not more than 4 times since abuja Kaduna line began in 2016.. Lagos Ibadan railway trains have never broken down jazzyking: 1 Like |

That railway revolution is not complete without the eastern corridors from Portharcourt to maiduguri and the coastal rail of lagos to calabar! |

Reflect7: Firstly, trains do not break-down daily in London. Stop talking crap! Secondly, the trains that breakdown in London are old stock. They are trains they have used for over 40 years, not like Nigeria's "new" stock. |

Gamesmart: How come you did not counter the statement that trains breakdown in Nigeria everyday? You and I know that is not true. Abuja Kaduna railway has operated for 5 years and we've only got reports of breakdown 4 or 5 times. Lagos Ibadan rail has never been reported to breakdown. Why are you straining yourself to protect UK reputation who don't care about your existence but willing to ignore your motherland? 2 Likes 1 Share |

Reflect7: The new lagos-ibadan railway is a light railway the Chinese are building light railways and fooling the Nigerian masses. Show me the trains carrying containers as proof the trains can only carry passengers. Let me inform you something 80% of the railway which China built in Nigeria are light railways. This is what they wanted to do in Ghana and Kenya but the government blocked it and and went for industrial railway lines.. |

Reflect7: I do not think you know what Light Railway any wagon which has a payload of less than 20 tons is Light Railway it has nothing to do with the trains but it is the railway gauge standard. This is why you don't see containers or do strings because the containers are about 40 tons including the weight of the container. Please show us the new trains and railway carrying containers just a picture. |
Re: Nigeria's Railway Revolution (Pictures) by SUFFERInSMILIIN(m): 1:47pm On Sep 28, 2021 |
Edibles20: Payload capacity it is rated as a light railway it can only do under 20 tons per wagon. Show us the trains carry fully loaded containers you cannot. You cannot talk about Nigerians most of them are illiterate they do not even know what happens in their own country. I am telling you I am working on the project and the trains are only meant to carry passengers not luggage or goods. Look at Kenya railway network is carrying top 40 ft containers one on top of the order. Lagos-ibadan railway cannot even carry one fully loaded 40 ft container. If you are not working on the project it is better you just keep quiet

NGpatriot: My friend I can see I am asking with an illiterate so carrying round pipes which are not even up to ten tonnes which are hollow inside means that the railway is industrial. All the railway which the Chinese are building in Nigeria are all Light Railway with Under-20 ton payload capacity

Ovamboland: I did not read that. Yours accidentally caught my eye and I even saw the capitalised "DAILY". Next time, read your statements and try and (a) be factual in everything you say and (b) only talk about what you know. As for Abuja-Kaduna only having 5 breakdowns, so early in their operations? In a country notorious for lack of maintenance? In a country notorious for spending billions to buy second-hand things, touch it up and presenting it as new? What does your brain tell you will be happening after 30 years? Please tell everybody what your brain tells you? No f**king bleeping excuses to be having breakdown in 5 years. Not even in 10 years. Next thing you have to learn in life is "Never defend/protect rubbish especiallly because it 'is your own'! NEVER!!!". You will end up being the one carrying your rubbish because "you are protecting some yeye reputation". Smart people prefer rubbish to be "other's own", not "theirs". "Your" Nigeria is a shithole, I hope you are proud of its "reputation" that you so want to protect? ..................Until you start hustling for a visa to move to Canada. You really need to up your reasoning! The standards you accept (and even rejoice on) will be the types of leaders you get in a democracy. |
Re: Nigeria's Railway Revolution (Pictures) by SUFFERInSMILIIN(m): 2:02pm On Sep 28, 2021 |
murmee: This is where you are making the mistake the old railway line in apapa Port are industrial railways with a payload capacity of 65 tons per wagon. But what dish Chinese are doing when did jets outside Lagos they reduced it to a light railway. Just like what happened to the abuja-kaduna railway which can only carry people. building the railway line of duty infant structure to apapa it is an industrial railway line |
Re: Nigeria's Railway Revolution (Pictures) by boogietrends: 2:48pm On Sep 28, 2021 |
SUFFERInSMILIIN: You need to provide a source for the bolded. The contractor transports tons of granite on this line daily. (more than ~240 tons, assuming 30 x 8 in the picture) The Lagos Ibadan railway will be used to transport containers from Apapa port to many Nigerian western cities and Niger Republic when all sections of the Western railway are ready. 2 Likes

Re: Nigeria's Railway Revolution (Pictures) by Ovamboland(m): 3:11pm On Sep 28, 2021 |
SUFFERInSMILIIN: Yet a wagon factory was built to assemble wagons to be used to carry containers all over the SGR built in the country. The same rail is been extended to Apapa seaport and Tin Can, yet you woke up from nowhere to say it can't carry freight without ever seeing the design specs. When they start carrying containers on the assembled wagons and flatbeds you melt back to the hole you came out of. Itakpe Warri rail already carrying freight 1 Like

Gamesmart: Shut up with your low self esteem and worship of anything Caucasian. There are many instances of new trains, ships and vehicles in Europe that broke down on the first day of use, even though they are brand new. They may be better than us in many things but they are not gods to be worshipped the you are doing. Things also do go wrong in their place. Breakdown on the first day or once a year on the average is not conclusive evidence the coaches are refurbished or old. I'm certain you will defend unsolicited the breakdown in Europe on first day of use of their own transportation items. 1 Like |

Gamesmart: For your information, I have lived and worked in the best country you can think of in any continent. In my first 10 days in London at least I experienced one breakdown of service which they promised will be resolved in an hour. Everyone left the coach calmly and I choose to wait as I had no idea what bus number to take to Kennnington, all the way from Middlesex, and was not going to start asking around at night. Things do go wrong anywhere, stop worshiping white skin. At least you came out of the shithole and we all know what that makes you, piece of **** 1 Like |
