I spoke with my first cousin, a former head of Customs Interpol at Seme, I'm not too sure of his current posting in the service, my mum also spoke with her first cousin, a comptroller of customs also stationed at Asaba and from what I learnt, nobody is privy to what is really going on in terms of this recruitment. Even the comptroller in question, his son didn't make it through to the CBT, he wasn't even bold to tell my mum about his son applying and not being able to write CBT, we learnt of that from another source.

Even my uncle who is an INEC national commissioner who earlier promised to help me pursue this job sent a message a few days before the CBT that made me understand that influencing the process is almost impossible. I am talking of someone who Oshiomhole visited recently in my presence and who the Sultan of Sokoto has once slept in his house in Auchi.

That is why I laugh when I see some people on this thread talk about sources and someone helping them.

My cousin whose dad is chief of staff to the chairman Senate committee on customs doesn't even have anybody to help him on this job.

Guys I know what I am talking about. This job is entirely in God's hands and trust me don't be surprised if even your state governor doesn't have a slot.

As to the issue of covid-19, it was truly the gist pushed by the PRO but that is not a factor delaying the next stage of the recruitment. Even officers don't compulsorily wear face masks at the HQ of recent. On the issue of funding, it is not a matter of the NCS being financially buoyant although that is an obvious fact. Truth is, the financial implications for the recruitment which generated some political issues was approved and disbursed to the Consultant long before now. As things stand now, decision to call for the next stage lies strictly with the CG, even very senior officers are not sure of when it will happen. This is not entirely a board issue. Communication has been between the Presidency and the CG, a lot of political drama have characterized the progress of the exercise, but it will definitely be seen to completion. Best Wishes.

Creating a Whatsapp group will be counter productive, why leave NL where thousands of people can access information to Whatsapp that can accommodate just bout 245 people.

Why should we leave NL where there is no avenue for security breach except your give out your contacts.

Some many people have shared vital information here without anyone intruding in anyone’s privacy. You will have people joining the so called Whatsapp group just for fraudulent reasons(3500 gang), access to contacts without authorisation.

I am of a contrary opinion in this move of yours.

You guys talk things with so much confidence on hearsay ok, let me tell you something that happened in the last DSSC army screening at Ibadan I saw 2 guys who were sent letter of recommendation by the senator representing them the man is the senate committee chairman on customs, I saw the letter myself that came with his official stamp.
He wrote their names together with their application number. The application number is more important than name because that's what they id one with as there are possibilities that many people can answer the same name. You think any connect will water his/her time to hussle apl when the person haven't done his homework? they don't even have that time and moreover they won't want to do anything that will backfire and their political opponents will use against them.
It might have happened in FRSC but you see Army, NCS, DSS, Police you must register first

Nothing concerns removal of service chiefs with Customs boss. They are both different NCS is not among the armed forces, Ali's position is similar to a ministerial appointment and with his performance and closeness to PMB I don't see him being removed it is highly unlikely.

Please who has received text from Customs about the Examination/Interview and payment of N3500 to print Invitation slip. I was informed by my friend so I am trying to verify if that is true
