Foreign AffairsRe: McCain Fires Back At Putin With America's Own Letter To Russians by bootlegaz: 10:31pm On Sep 20, 2013
shymexx: Lmao. The guy is a joker. They will shoot the plane down before it even gets near Russian. The fear of Russia is the beginning of wisdom for most yanks. They know where their sabre-rattling starts and stops. Even when Russia was super-weak, they dare not attack unless they want Washington DC to become a ghost town. grin
When a man starts using "they" on his statement, I stop taking his childish rant seriously.

shymexx: I don't need to relocate anywhere - I'm the voice of the sane heads and the higher minds who can decipher what's actually going on. I dare say I'm the voice of most brits including liberals, conservatives and nationalists because almost everyone out here supports Putin on Syria? tongue

You definitely don't know nothing about Russia. They aren't into toys and consoles - Russia is a military state and any technology about military, the Russians would always be a force to be reckoned with. Even with space technology, no country is close. Wait till Putin unveils the war-toys they're building now in 2020 to know what Russia is cooking.

Calling Russian soldiers hungry is laughable!! A country that might be arguably richer than America in terms of resources can never be hungry and Russian soldiers are one of the bravest on the planet - they're trained to kill. They will shoot down the most advanced American jet with the crudest tool out there, that's how efficient they're. Don't mess with the Ruski's!! wink
See what excessive video games have done to mankind. I doubt you have traveled out of the UK? Your argument doesn't make much sense. Nigeria is rich with natural resources yet it is considered a third world country? Stop looking at the world from daddy's basement.

If you have worked with Russians or been to Moscow, you would understand why they are perceived as the worst racist of them all. Very corrupt and greedy set of people that lack human sympathy.

all4naija: A boring post from a left-wing patronage! Putin never addressed Americans he attacked the right of Syrians to fight for their human rights. Having a base in Syria is the major reason why he is so protective of Al Assad. Please, stop formulating a baseless situation.
Stop schooling black kids that are considered third class in Europe. He called mccain an ordinary senator yet he knows his history and his last name. People that wouldn't fill British Royal navy recruitment forms out of cowardice are here telling us about world affairs. .... grin grin

Did you say America can bomb Russia and nothing would happen? You need to give me the woolie-thai that you have been smoking - I want your connect. grin

I don't need to remind you that mother Russia has never lo6st any battle on home soil. That's the country that buries civilisation. wink
Hey British Nigerian, Russia of today is not USSR of yesterday. If you all think Russia is all that, why not relocate from the UK to Russia? I haven't seen a technology from Russia that is globally accepted. War has shifted from B2B to E2B. Russian hungry soldiers are willing to sell their country's secret for cheese burger.

Ferrari is not a big deal for those politicians and their cronies in Naija, the big deal is the continued driving of that car on Naija roads. I am team Tesla!!!

dayokanu: I know ABSU 5 never existed because its the norm in Ibo land

Rapping Grandmothers is evidence of maturity in Enugu state. Its the common rite of passage and the Igwe told the women to live with it

I am also sure you would tell us Cynthia osukogu never existed.
I won't be surprised you were conceived out of raappee.
A typical Mgbati man, defending his turf. Area boys and girls in Lagos makes up to 30 percent of lagos population and they are all born throw away like you.....lol
CrimeRe: Father Catches Man Raping Daughter In Ibadan by bootlegaz: 4:47pm On Sep 17, 2013
The rapist is Femi Fani Kayode offspring, he encouraged them to talk sexxx in public and also do the acting. I hope the rapist spends sometime in an isolated prison filled with Boko Haram members in Borno state.

CareerRe: How Do I Break Into Oil & Gas Industry In Nigeria? by bootlegaz: 4:47pm On Sep 16, 2013
I hope trolls don't spoil this thread sad
@OP great contribution. If every Nigerian seeks employment in oil and gas industry, I doubt that country will survive a recession. Saudi Arabia is a major oil exporter yet they are not considered first world. America is the greatest economy today because of diversification, why can't our people emulate such?
BusinessRe: Folorunsho Alakija, Missing From Forbes List Of 21 Richest Nigerians by bootlegaz:
If not for free oil blocs handed over to these lots by former Northern Military presidents, they won't be worth close to 1million dollars. Doyin, Coscharis, Ibeto, Eleganza are the few legitimate rich folks on that list. Remove Niger Delta oil bloc and the rest is history. How many of them do you see their products on the street? There is a new presidential house help emerging, giver her five more years and she will be on that list, her name is Bola Shagaya(not sure of the first name). Otedola, Orji and the lady yorubas are calling the richest black woman on earth wouldn't survive in a corrupt free society.
TravelRe: Nigeria Ineligible For US DV-2015 by bootlegaz: 11:21am On Sep 16, 2013
dasparrow: @Post

Nigerians, don't sweat it. Listen, America has been my country for the past almost 14 years though I was born in western Europe. Here is what I can tell you: USA is not what it used to be. When I migrated to USA in the late 90s during the Bill Clinton administration, USA was the best place to be. Emphasis on WAS. The American economy was booming, you open the newspapers and there were job listings everywhere. But then came George Bush and then 9/11 happened. After that, America was never the same again. The jobs began to vanish, American manufacturers moved their businesses to Asia to save manufacturing costs, businesses started shutting down, people were being laid off en mass and many Americans lost their homes, cars, etc as a result of the rising levels of unemployment in the country. Those who work for the government had to endure cuts in their salaries as a result of government-mandated budget cuts. The police and the fire department faced budget cuts as well which in turn meant that if you call 911 for help, it takes them longer to get to you. People with advanced university degrees could not find jobs because they are being told that they are over qualified so some people started claiming that they only have an associate degree even if in actuality they have a bachelors degree or a masters degree.

Anyways, to cut a long story short, Nigeria not qualifying for the DV-lottery anymore might actually be a blessing in disguise because right now is not the ideal time to migrate to USA since even those born and bred in USA are having it difficult finding a job. Many of us diasporans are even looking to move back to Africa for good, maybe not to Nigeria but definitely to a FUNCTIONING African country.

Due to the lingering economic recession, Americans often times take out their frustrations on foreigners living in their midst. America - for me anyways - went from being this really great country to live in to being this country that I doubt I want to raise my children in. I know of quite a number of Nigerians who are American citizens but have decided to move back because they were having a very hard time in America.

I am not saying that you should not attempt to search for greener pastures overseas but I truly believe that USA and most parts of the EU and not the places to be right now if you want to hustle or are seeking greener pastures because even their own citizens are not finding things easy at the moment and that is the gospel truth. Migrate legally if the opportunity arises but be wise in your choice of where you want to migrate to. I think Africa as a continent has a lot of potential so once I am done with NYSC real soon, I will explore options within our beautiful continent. Peace!
Your assertion is not correct. Those that can not find a decent job are those that lack skilled labor. The recession of 2008 created specialization and I don't know of any engineer that does not have a job. If you have no college degree get ready to compete with those that have none . Hiring rate in the USA is surging in technology and energy sector, provided you read a course that is marketable.
TravelRe: Nigeria Ineligible For US DV-2015 by bootlegaz: 6:53am On Sep 16, 2013
VisaOfficer: It's all based on number of visas issued. If we drop below 50,000 visas over a five-year period, Nigeria will become eligible again. It will depend on the demand for immigrant visas.
Majority of Nigerians have selective hearing by default. I would advise you stop answering their questions. They are lazy and are not willing to do an independent investigation via www. Filipinos can not apply for visa lottery, indians so as Mexicans cos they have reached the maximum. I don't see what these kids don't get from your answers.

Funpeter: Have a major in Statistics, definitely love numbers and also do u mean i dont need sql and mysql if am going for Analytics? Please ur advice will be appreciated.
Statisticians are in high demand in states. You need those aforementioned programs to be in big data business. Analytics make crazy money out here and the demand for them will increase to 34percent or more by 2020. If you can gain admission to states, and have enough money to finance your degree, you are set for life.

Your myopic question alone proves you are a fraud and doesn't possess a US passport. Be a patriotic citizen, develop and remain in your country, we don't need fraudsters tarnishing Nigeria's image in states.

richoko60: Nice Thread, i wish we can have more threads like this, Please anyone can help with information on ORACLE ERP, SAP, BI, CISA etc and the career path to follow.
can anyone help with an advice for someone with Oracle database SQL, OCA, OCP but confused about the career path to follow between Information System Audit and IT business Solution with our present Nija situation.
currently umemployed but want to equipped myself with more skills
Thanks
I am not based in naija and wouldn't know how the job market is for information management. I think some companies in Nigeria are using SAP for their ERP . I was offered a job in Abuja as a consultant but the offer was not juicy enough for me to leave my base in states to naija.

When it comes to Fashion sense, naija local celebrities are leaners. I rather wear traditional clothes that the unfit baby suits all these papa Nmadu are wearing. Naijas only understand fashion when creme boyz visit home from Yankee, december.

Funpeter: presently taken a course on informations management system hopes it helps later
Where(country) do you plan on pitching that course? Putting it to practice is what matters the most. Information technology is ambiguous, you have to choose area of specialty that aligns with your Major. If you love numbers then Analytics would be best bet for you. Hadoop, no sql, mysql and machine learning are all under information technology but used mostly by engineers.
CareerRe: Business Analysis As A Career In Nigeria by bootlegaz:
I don't know of Nigeria but been competent in Business Analysis with a concentration on Business intelligence in the United States, can get you close to earning $200k as a consultant. Business intelligence is the fastest growing career in the United states and Canada. You don't have to be certified, and all you need is training and some hands on experience. Get a training in Relationship Data Base management system, Oracle-SQL, and any BI tools (microstrategy, SAP, Cognos, sportify). Companies will hire you as a business system analyst and pay you huge some of money for helping them solve some analytical challenges. I don't know about such career path in Nigeria, I won't make any suggestions or what industry in that country requires or are looking for a BA
