Am new to this group as I was previously in the student visa group. My visa was recently approved and I'll be traveling to Germany by September ending. I have a wife and a 4 year old son whom I would like to join me as soon as possible.
Can anyone please outline the process for me carefully?
What my wife and son need to do?
The necessary documents that will be needed?

Good day everyone, I submitted additional documents at the embassy window a week ago. I haven't heard any response from them yet. Do i keep waiting or send a mail to confirm if the documents have been received?

The embassy is rejecting the sponsorship letter because it does not meet the required level of verification ("nachgewiesen" ) . In many German visa cases, especially for students or long-stay visas, a sponsor must submit a formal “Verpflichtungserklärung” (official declaration of commitment), which is processed and issued by a local Foreigners' Office (Ausländerbehörde) in Germany and is automatically marked as “nachgewiesen”.

FOR CONTEXT:
“glaubhaft gemacht” means the sponsorship has only been plausibly demonstrated but not formally proven.
"nachgewiesen” means the sponsor’s financial capacity has been formally verified and meets embassy requirements.

There is another option to explore here..
If your sponsor cannot get a Verpflichtungserklärung, you may consider opening a blocked bank account (Sperrkonto) as an alternative proof of funds.

In all you do, Do Not Resubmit the Same Letter..
Resubmitting the same document marked “glaubhaft gemacht” will likely lead to another rejection.

The embassy recently sent me an email requesting a sponsorship letter that is marked "nachgewiesen", as the one I submitted during my interview was marked "glaubhaft gemacht" and therefore not accepted. My sponsor returned to the Home Office to request a corrected version, but unfortunately, he was issued another letter still marked "glaubhaft gemacht".

In this situation, what should I do? Should I still present the same letter to the embassy, or is there another way to resolve this? I would appreciate your guidance on how to proceed.

Whoever told you that doesn't know anything about the German visa process, or is ignorant about the possibilities. Be careful about such people even when you get to Germany. They openly display their ignorance and tell you "we've been here". Most importantly, avoid those who entered Germany via asylum. Just my two cents.

The ausländerbehörde appreciates that you have someone in Germany. This actually shows strong ties. I've heard baseless claims also about them preferring BA for SL lol. So laughable.

Make sure you input your cousin as your reference.

Could someone kindly verify the validity of a sponsorship letter? My uncle issued one for me last year and recently went to the home office to get it renewed. However, he was told that the original letter is still valid and can be used. Can anyone clarify this? Also, has anyone ever submitted a sponsorship letter that was more than 6 months old at the embassy? Were they rejected, or were they given time to provide an updated version?

Hi guys,

I have a quick question, I recently interviewed at the German embassy for a student visa (on Friday) with a sponsorship letter.

However, the sponsorship letter Is expired. I am now been given 2 weeks deadline to submit a sponsorship letter.

Can I at this stage switch to Blocked account since this is much faster than waiting for a new sponsorship letter ?

Note that the visa officer already collected the expired sponsorship letter
