catchdwind4rmkd: Yes, there is and you're on the right thread. So, read through and post your questions for experts in your field to give you the best guide.
I've limited knowledge in the process; my knowledge is mostly limited to Engineering - Chemical and any other general information relating to Australia migration.
@mamjaz would be able to help you as she's also a nurse looking to move to Oz. Please, can I send you a PM to review employment reference (Chemical Engineering) |

jayooh: Good day famz, please for those who have assessed experience or provided proof of employment iduring assessment with EA, is my employment letter and pension statement adequate enough? I'm writing an episode based on work experience now. Meanwhile the pension is the monthly or quarterly email statement from my PFA and it uses pin so I will need to tell the assessor the pin for opening the doc . For the PFA, if it is Stanbic you can actually print from the online platform. I believe that should suffice |

Hey house, Good day!
Just to clarify, is it possible for DIBP to turn down an application during check for someone who did not assess employment with EA but provided every single documentation necessary to DIBP |

Hello guys!
I need someone who has got positive customer service manager assessment from VETASSESS to assist me with looking at my JD in comparison with that of the ANZScode. Please and please. |
Travel › Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by bornlegend: 8:18am On Sep 26, 2017 |
catchdwind4rmkd: You shouldn't have accepted the Engineering Technologist to start with.
You're usually given advance notice of of decision, an given the opportunity to change the decision by submitting a new career episode or providing additional documents. This would have been your best chance.
I'm not sure you can reassess t last outcome. However, you can reapply i.e. submit a fresh an stronger application which means paying the full assessment fee.
Others who have different idea as to how to go about it would reply t you soon. But before that, you should put your mind on the worst case of applying for a fresh assessment which me writing fresh career episodes an providing stronger supporting documents.
Best wishes Thanks man, appreciate |

Royal54: IMO, your employment reference letter is what should be in consonance with what the ANZ code specifies as it has more weight than your resume.
So in response to your question, the outcome is obvious..... Goodluck Thanks but in case when the job title is for example QA but the roles/duties are in line with the customer service manager JD, it is still fine right? |

Hello house!
I still need help with QA manager & Customer service manager occupation. Has anyone received ITA or assessed successfully by VETASSESS?
Also, if you align your JD on resume to that of the ANZcode what happens if your introduction letter or reference from company did not align theirs that way. Any tips or clarification? |

Dave4eva: Guys and the gurus with experience in the house, first my greetings to you all. Please I will need your advices on these crucial matters. I’ve tried to search for answer her but to no avail. 1. I am to submit an application for EA assessment as a Mechanical Engineer. Presently, work experience is about 7 yrs + 9months. The 9 months is in a different company. Question is, will EA assess my experience as 5 yrs since the 9 months done in a different company didn’t add up to a complete year which will then make the total years be less than 8yrs? Or will it be approximated to 8 yrs? You guys know how crucial that point difference is. 2. If eventually this comes to 5yrs, with my present IELTS score of minimum of 7 across board, I will have a total score of 60 points. Quite low for an ITA. And this brings me to ask a second question. 3. I will like to claim partner points for my spouse so I can get an additional 5pts. The basic issue here is my spouse has a Civil engineering degree but has not done any related work in civil engineering. Related work experience is in the oil and gas line. Drilling in particular but for the past 3 yrs or so, she has been out of employment. Is it necessary that she must be working at the time the assessment application is lodged? Does EA require spouse to have any experience for a positive assessment outcome? Is there a chance of getting a positive assessment? I mean please advice on this as this will require finance which I don’t want to just throw into the winds. I stumbled over these requirements for claiming points for partner skills. The 3rd and 4th item are giving me concerns.
You can claim 5 extra points if your partner meets the below requirements: • Under 50 years of age • Has at least competent English • Has nominated an occupation on the same skilled occupation list as your nominated occupation • Has been assessed by the relevant assessing authority as having suitable skills for the nominated occupation
Please I await your good responses with advices. Thanks. From my understanding, she should just assess the degree using final year projects and add those she worked on in her work experience that is Engineering related. This should work. |

Alphadoor: The experience is unrelated to your chosen occupation, which is why you omiited it in your asseesment , therefore it's not eligible for points claim. Thanks |
Travel › Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by bornlegend: 9:48am On Sep 07, 2017 |
kamotisha: Since you have already been assessed positively, I think you can only claim points for the classification which you have been assessed. QA and engineering tech don't relate. That's what I think. Alternatively, work on your english score to bag more points ask you dont need to claim experience. Make others help you torchlight the matter. Thanks. You have been helpful |
Travel › Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by bornlegend: 9:23am On Sep 07, 2017 |
Cognito79: You should rewrite your CDR to get professional engineer assessment. You can't claim experience in QA customer service as an engineer. They are unrelated.. Okay then. Thanks. I will need to study to get better 20 in my English test then to gather more points. Any ideas? I took PTE twice and got 10 pts. |
