PetroDolla2: Look, you should be grateful that some Ghanaians can find the time to come here and comment on issues, even if they don't concern Ghana. ask Seun if the presence of Ghanaians here has not been a major boost for his site. why do you think anything concerning Ghana gets front page attention on nairaland? you see Ghanaians bring something special to wherever they go and I am talking from experience.

look at somebody like Bin Gbagbo, a guy like him should be a superMOD on NL because he's very creative and fun, and will bring something new to the site.

you'll soon get tired of yorubas bashing igbos, and vice versa, huh?

Jigga_man101: That is the only way to make Nigeria look good because comparing Nigeria to Ghana is a bad idea as Ghana always outshine the big for nothing country u call Nigeria
Jigga, I've seen you argue in sport section and I've always respected your level of decorum. I was already classifying you among the level headed Ghanaians on this forum. But you disappointed me by hurling insults at Nigerians in general when your reaction should have been against the posters you felt insulted you and your country.

Guess all Ghanaians are like that.

GHANA OGA: That's none of my business. Only failures give excuses.US has population of 300million and they did it/Learn from them.
Stop being a fool. Comparing an emerging economy with a developed economy shows how dead your brain is.

Jigga_man101: I laugh whenever I hear that. Lagos GDP is higher that Ghana. If it that was true how does it affect the average nigerian. Does the average nigerian live better than a Ghanaian
Without doubt, an average Nigerian live better than a Ghanaian.
Does the average nigerian has better capital.
If your definition for capital is what I think it is, why then do you think Nigerians move to African countries including Ghana to start up businesses? I doubt if you had time to think before writing this.
Does the average nigerian mother has better health coverage than Ghanaian.
This is where the disadvantage of our huge population comes to play. However, there are more Nigerian medical experts than there are from any african country.
Does the average nigerian feel safe in Nigeria.
Aside the North eastern region, and some northern states, Nigeria is as safe as any peaceful country in the world. We would overcome the insurgents that have made Nigeria labelled the terrorist hub of africa with time. I feel safe in Nigeria. Never encountered armed robbers since I was born. Never encountered kidnappers and never has any of my family member been terrorised.
What does Nigeria beat Ghana in apart from population.
Economy, sports, Entertainment industry, Manufacturing, road networks, rail networks, natural resources, human resources, armed forces and many more.
BusinessRe: Confessions Of A Ghana-based Nigerian Youth by boron10(m): 8:06am On Dec 27, 2013
Jigga_man101: Nigeria lack of electricity, crimes everywhere, boko haram, lack security. There is no way in hell Nigeria can be compare to Ghana. Quantity can never beat quality. Nigeria is all about quantity
We produce about 6000MW of electricity compared to the 2500MW in Ghana. The cost of fuelling one's generator is also less than the electricity tariff in Ghana.

There is no country in this world that is immune to terrorism. Even the great America with all the resources and firepower they possess can't boast of being free from terrorists.

The rate of crime in Nigeria is not as high as the rate of crime in some developed countries, like America, russia and fairly developed country like South Africa. I read on ghanaweb how ghanaian policemen stole fuel from a vehicle in an accident scene. If the police force could degenerate to stealing fuel, what then would you expect from the ordinary citizens?

Comparing Nigeria with Ghana is like comparing China with egypt. Lagos economy alone is larger than the whole Ghanaian economy. There are more road networks in lagos than there are in the whole of Ghana, benin and togo combined. And despite our huge population, our GDP per capital is still higher.

So, I'll implore you to stop embarrassing yourself and country by trying to compare Nigeria with Ghana. We nor be mate.
BusinessRe: Confessions Of A Ghana-based Nigerian Youth by boron10(m): 6:23am On Dec 27, 2013
Jigga_man101: I disagree Ghana and Nigeria swing back and forth in terms of migration. First it mass movement of Nigerians into Ghana during the 60, then mass migration from Ghanaians into Nigeria in the 70s and 80s and now in the 2000s there is a mass migration of Nigerians into Ghana. Is always a seesaw when it comes to migration between the two. It is never balance as we speak there are way more Nigerians in Ghana than there are Ghanaians in Nigeria.
There are more chinese and indians in Nigeria than there are Nigerians in both countries. The reason is not because Nigeria is a better country than both. So, common sense should tell you that there is bound to be high rate of migration in countries with huge population. And this does not rule out the fact that there are over a million Ghanaians in Nigeria. There is a community here in Lagos that is dominated by Ghanaians. Many of whom are not interested in going back to Ghana anytime soon.
BusinessRe: Confessions Of A Ghana-based Nigerian Youth by boron10(m): 6:10am On Dec 27, 2013
Jigga_man101: Shut up, Ghana beats Nigeria in every major development. Ghana attracts more tourists than Nigeria. So I don't get your point. The only thing y'all have over Ghana is population. Nothing else. Quantity over quality
Could you please list the major development aside electricity and HDI?

Jigga_man101: Ask the over two million Nigerians living, going
to school and working over there. Apart from
South Africa I think Ghana has the highest
amount of Nigerians in any country in Africa.
Stop deluding yourself. There are many Nigerians in Ghana as there are Ghanaians in Nigeria. And While Ghanaians come to Nigeria to search for jobs, Nigerians go to Ghana to start up businesses. We invest in your country the same way we invest in some other African countries.

Nigerians (Igbos) are adventurous. You see them everywhere. Even in poverty ravaged countries like Ethiopia, Eritrea and Somalia.

I believe the issue of Nigerians going to school in Ghana has severally been flogged.

It is true Ghana is the 2nd African country with the highest amount of Nigerians, and it is also true Nigeria has the highest number of Ghanaians than any african country.
BusinessRe: Confessions Of A Ghana-based Nigerian Youth by boron10(m): 5:31am On Dec 27, 2013
Why would a Nigerian descend so low to go and do a retail business in Ghana? A country with a very low population but high rate of poverty with only Accra as city. Igbos should stop embarrassing Nigerians biko. There are so many cities in Naija. If you feel like doing business in a less competitive environment, go to the north.

While Nigeria is becoming the best investment destination In Africa, some foolish Nigerians still don't see reasons to stay back here and invest. Allowing Indians, Lebanese and Chinese to take advantage of our economy.
Nonsense

Eze Promoe: If South Africa as Africa's largest economy is 84th in the world in per capita, then there is no need for comparison because Africa is miles backward.
You are very wrong. Equitorial guinea an African country has a better GDP per Capital than many developed economy. GDP per capital is a function of the GDP and the total population. China has the 2nd largest economy in the world and their per capital is way behind so many countries. Including african countries. Hope you understand.

You are right. If the fans are actually racists, Ahmed Musa won't be playing there. And earlier this season, he was voted CSKA player of the month. The racist chant directed at Toure was to demoralize him and get him to play poorly.

GH KWAME: guy, I don't appreciate you slaughtering my name. why did you not stop your compatriots when they threw the first punch ehn?
I apologize for slaughtering your name grin grin. The op threw punches and a large chunk of the punch was directed to Nigeria/Nigerians. And if you noticed, insults were also hurled at the OP and the supermod that moved the topic to the front page. There were also Nigerians requesting for the closure of the thread. If we actually hate Ghana/Ghanaians, majority of us would have seen the thread as an opportunity to let out our hatred.

You have to learn to overlook some issues. But I was miffed by the insults you and royal pearl directed at my country. It is easier to take insults from the likes of petrodolla, banku and ghana kwume than from pretty chicks like yourself and royal pearl. Anyway, good night.
