Christianity EtcRe: Muslim Youths Destroy Catholic Church In Baki Iku, Near Abuja by bot101(m): 4:31pm On Jul 16, 2016
Ayatullah:
THE TRUTH is that 'Thisday' Newspaper did a one sided story lacking investigative journalism.

Another TRUTH is that the Catholic Church is not new in the area so also is the Mosque Ground where the alleged attackers came from.

Another TRUTH is that the Catholic Church should have known that Friday is a serious Prayer Day for the Muslims who pray in peace in their thousands led solemnly by one Imam and need no disturbance.

Another TRUTH is that the Muslims despite praying in their thousands outside does not generate any disturbing noise.

Another TRUTH is that Christians so much love the microphone and loudspeakers that they make so much noise even when they are gathered in very few number.

The final TRUTH is that the Christians must have made a disturbing, loudspeakers assisted noise full of heresies while the Muslims were praying which must have led to the Catholic Church being raided by the Brave Muslims.

(I expect a ban for saying the truth)
I know you crave attention. I'll give it to you.

It is impossible for a thousand Muslim's to pray without microphone, even 5 do. That is the only arguable and counter-able point you raised, every other thing you said either revolves around it or is outright trash, thank you.

Who is disturbing who? They blare their speakers to the high heavens every Friday and no one complains. They have no morality to push this your weak annoying argument.

ProgrammingRe: Why PHP Should Not Be Your Primary Language by bot101(m): 8:14am On Jul 12, 2016
I have seen some top websites running PHP and still doing so. Going by your assertion, they should all have been dead and off the net by now. Please let's not hang a language because of a bad coder's crimes. Given the worst language, a good programmer will make a great, efficient application but give a bad programmer the best language (there is none), and he'll develop a program that'll make you want to murder him. This is the same bull poo they said about Cordova, nowadays I take such opinions with a pinch of salt.

From my experience, I disagree with you. Once you understand that there is always an affordable substitute for money(e.g. time), you'll find that my earlier post was/is right after all. The trick is to find the substitute to that which you can't afford.

Leave mata for Mathias....

Most people get idea, na money no dey to finance am jare....
It is people who want to start big (greedy in my opinion) who give this excuse. Even if they eventually get the capital, most of them will go bankrupt in less than 2 years because their idea is only strong enough to start a company, not keep one afloat. One of the main reasons investors would rather invest in already established start-ups with a good business plan and clear direction.

Going from the last thread i Posted? https://www.nairaland.com/3193786/just-before-take-job-see, I saw alot of peeps complain about not getting even a Job, talk more of rejecting the ones they have seen cheesy, Then I asked myself, what is the problem.....
The first thing that comes to my mind is Blaming the Government!! angry.. But the question is, "Can the Government ever change?" HELL NO.
All we need do is take the Bull by the horn like Miss onstelly advised. How can we achieve that?... lets see the steps below cool

1) Learn the art of Networking: There are people who know people who have lots of Job to give. The question now is "Who do you know"?.. you follow alot of friends on Instagram, facebook, nairaland, but in esscence, Who are you following? The person you are following, What is the aim? who does he/she know?
They say Sales men are the most wicked people, you know why?.. We dont follow you without an aim..You must have something to attract our attention. Same thing should apply to you. Before you get that dream know people because they might be the ones to give you that Dream Job.. They can be seen in Your churches, Mosques, neighborhood, etc. If you think knowing people is stressful, Jump to number 2. cheesy

2) Know what you want: It marvels me when I ask University graduates what sector of the economy they wish to work in, all they say is "Anywhere money dey".. Money is everywhere, but believe you me, you may end up not finding it because you don't know your direction! I always wanted to sell, and i never sat at home looking for Job. Even during my university days, I sold Insurance! I sold anything I could lay my hands on.. During my service year, I sold commission basis for an IT firm... And you know the end product, I ended up acquiring more than 3 years experience when i finished service.. I went for my first interview, and then..... BOOM!! Know what you want. When you know what you want, you won't be lost in the crowd, You will be a pro even before getting the Job and believe me, employers love such! Just Incase you still getting the experience, and you feel broke, try Number 3 cheesy.

3) Engage in something profitable: Don't despise the days of little beginning.. That adage is as old as Kinglee1 and Maxi112. Everybody wants to get rich quick, that is why they display alot of fake lifestyle on social medias.."Don't Fall for that Trap". Take your time, and find something you can do to Pay your bills, rent, Data Sub. It gives you the necessary confidence and the belief that you are working hard. Even if you are going to teach in a Primary school, Sell earpiece at computer village, Sell Insurance at Oshodi, anything thine hand findeth to do, and it brings money, Just do it!! but if you feel you don't have the calling of working under someone, Try number 4 wink

4) Learn the art of becoming your own boss: If there is something that can propel you to becoming your own boss, It is Lack of Job and fear of being Broke. I can't tell you Business Ideas and and to operate them, But i believe that "Nairaland" can answer that question. Even if you don't have money to sub, there are lots of people around you that can help you with Ideas.. Lots of them! Most of them like i have observed can be started with a little capital and it is fun doing! Forget the shame, Forget the title of being called "Graduate", it is just a title that can't earn you money.. be creative and get going... Then see how in few years time, you may end up employing Graduates and MBA holders into your firm...

Above all, avoid blaming the Government of not creating Jobs... Once you start the blame game, you will lose Ideas! The APC government can bear me witness. So while we enjoy the Holidays, always remember these four tips and QUIT "Tapping into people's testimonies" grin

ProgrammingRe: Does AJAX Technology Work On Mobile Phones??? by bot101(m): 11:42am On Jul 06, 2016
It works in all browsers, but does so differently in operamini since it is technically not a real browser. Opera mini has an intermediary, server based browserlike engine that all your requests pass through to its destination server. All responses from the destination server also goes through this remote browser which receives the html response data, parses it and executes all javascript to create a new lightweight file (an obml file) and sends same to your Opera mini 'browser'. This is how opera mini compresses large webpage into tiny 30kb files. The downside with this approach is that all javascript is stripped of the resulting obml file making it impossible to execute any javascript in the client's browser (AJAX is javascript). So your client side AJAX calls although cannot be executed in your Opera mini browser, is triggered in the remote server, executes there, a new obml file generated and sent to your browser, hence the reload.

Another hack would be to style a button blah blah blah and overlay it with a completely transparent file input element.

grin grin And it took me just 80 seconds tongue Just kidding sha. Anyway your own hack uses one form, one element; which is a lot like one man, one wife grin . So if I need other form elements, I have to add other forms cry . Besides, how do I submit the image if I add other forms huh Your own solution didn't even work on opera mini nor when I paste it into jsbin.com .

On a more serious note, as far as I'm concerned, whatever would cause you to seek to customize an upload button beyond simple styling, is evil and should ostracised from your mind entirely. The guy that gave instances of sites using it should take cognition of the fact that LinkedIn and the Facebook mobile applications are web applications that cannot be accessed by smaller devices hence they have stronger control over how it displays. For one, Opera for mobile and IE display the button on the right. Opera for PC displays it on the left and uses webkit approved prefixes but the event never triggers regardless of if you strike the button with a stick angry. So instead of having a thousand user agent conditions that won't scale, they resort to making those dedicated applications which gives them more environmental control.

@dhtml18 I hardly give a fûck about how my project appears on other devices/browsers. If you do not use PC Chrome, well, fûck you and your shitty browsers angry angry All those FF fan boys, kuku kill me embarassed Mbok how will I be building IE6 compatible applications huh huh Was I sent to the world to suffer like Job? Abi who still uses IE6? Even my great grandfather browsing from the underworld upgrades his browsers often cuz Data is free over there and a nigga gats to be up to date wink

Finally, OP, best advice; ditch the entire setup. If you wanno style the button to the point where it sings and dance, I can help you with that also(Although this also would be a hack and is not reliable across browsers other than good old Chrome kiss ). But since there's no consolidated solution, hacks will always desert you someday.
True true pesin no come this world come suffer ooo grin grin
ProgrammingRe: How Do I Customize This Html Tag <input Type="file"> by bot101(m): 12:23pm On Jun 23, 2016
Easiest way would be to hide the file input element, style a span, input text, whatever and a button to look like a file input if it is absolutely necessary and simulate a click event on the hidden file input when the styled button is clicked. Did that sometime ago.
