Please everyone, let's talk about this declaration of funds ukba has put as a new rule.

As it is now, I did borrowed some of d funds I put in my acc as my maintainance fund and I will return it soon as I get my VISA, is there a way ukba will further investigate the availability of this fund after visa issuance, or will one be required to show a fresh statement upon entry into the uk? Might d school also request a prove of this during registration? Or how does ukba intend to verify this?

@dming, Abi o, I and slyp left in it, its sure gonna be ok though, bt really tired of waiting now, have even started withdrawing from the account I have presented to UKBA as am broke nw jare, but I hope this doesn't affect my application,as long as I don chop into the minimum amount required as my maintainance.

Is it ok to still withdraw from my account?

please did u guys submit photocopies of all the original documents u used in applying for VISA along side ur application?

Most importantly, did everyone submit a [b]photocopy of passport data page?, cos id didn't, as the copy i submitted was stamped and returned to me by VFS

Thanks so much for your concern, i did rang my school yesterday, spoke with the Finance and accommodation depts, and i was told at finance that the sum i paid in hasn't been splitted for accommodation and tuition, its all been directed towards tuition, they confirmed they could split it for me if i wanted and I told her i had already applied to the Embassy and informed the Embassy that i pad 4250p for tuition and the Lady assured me the sum won't be touched in order not to cause confusion with the embassy.

So i guess I should put my mind at rest now and trust God

@ell77, thx, my actual tuition is 7500pounds and maintenance of 5400p,stands at abt 2.2NGN but I put 3.2NGN in my account.

Can I ring the school today, its a staturday,do they work on weekends? Thinking I should reject the accomodation offer,mayb the 250p wouldn't be deducted then? Or I beta send them 250p on monday?

This is just a confusion, as I feel UKBA has contacted d school already,I feel that is what has prompted them to send me an accomodation offer to confirm if I want or nt? What do u feel?

@naijamark, D actual tuition was 10,000p, I had 25% scholarship that made it 7500p, university of NOrthampton.

Here it is now!

I paid 4250p in all
I told the school to use 4000p for tuition and 250p for accommodation and filled the accommodation form
But on sending me my CAS, the school sent me a CAS saying : Amount paid till date- 4250p
They didn't indicate on my CAS that 4000p for tuition, 250p for accommodation, they said Amount paid till date- 4250p
So i assume the whole 4250 is for tuition as they put on my CAS Amount paid till date- 4250p

Now I applied for VISA telling UKBA that I have paid 4250p for tuition as my CAS has not indicated that they have deducted 250p for accommodation
Today The school sent me a mail of accommodation offer saying I should accept my accommodation offer in the next 5-days.
Now my fear is I hope the school hasn't gone ahead to deduct 250 for accommodation as they have now offered me accommodation and that means my tuition will now be 4000p as against the 4250p i told UKBA and if they will update that to UKBA, this will automatically cause a confusion.

What do I do?

oh jeez!, I just got a mail of accommodation offer from my school oooo,asking me to accept the offer for accommodation, and i did envisaged this, I paid a fee of 4250p and asked them to deduct 250p for accommodation on my transfer form , but on receiving my CAS the school didn't put on the CAS that I paid for accommodation and they only said (amount paid till date-4250p) and i assume that they haven't deducted the 250p for accomodation, instead they have put all towards tuition as they only said amount paid till date-4250 on the CAS, please I applied for VISA giving this information to UKBA that I have paid 4250p as tuition as put on my CAS, i hope now the school will not go and deduct the 250p for accommodation from my total amount paid and cause a confusion with UKBA,because this will now mean my Tuition is 4000 as against 4250p that was put in the CAS initially which i claimed, and I learnt that the school updates the CAS they send to UKBA, am really confused as it seems they have just deducted the 250p and will go ahead to tell UKBA that my tuition is 4000 as against the 4250 put on the CAS given to me, now that they have given me an accomodation offer,

Please people advise what do i do, i have already applied for VISA since MONDAY!, really am not rested at all, am feeling UKBA has contacted the school already and they are trying to figure out my funds or something, for the school to have just offered me accommodation after 1month of application now.

and lastly my cousin sent the invitation letter and employment papers and acct stmt, bur they said they are not sure about the type of accomodation that is available to me or that she will be able to accomodate me.

From ur points, i assume its a visit visa u have applied for? I mean its not a Tier4 study visa, is it?

Now u know what i want u both to do for us?, @Mama King[/b]s and[b] @mazamaza?, both of u should kindly give the details of the documents you used in applying in order to help prospective visa applicants, just do it in ur way and just a summary of the procedures u took and probably the duration it took in order to put other applicant's mind at rest!

well basically we gat different opinions and views, as well as life experiences that affects our decisions most of the time, taking decisions all boils down to making some calculated risks really like someone said earlier.

Ain't there chances he could get an excellent job afterwards?, and equally it could be the other way round, or take time before he lands a job back? so most importantly its about calculating ur risks, have ur stand!, know what u want and have a reason, we are different u know!, then in this kind of matter AGE matters alot, a younger aged guy/lady's got a better chance atleast with a younger age u can easily adjust ur mistakes, i bet! and more time ahead atleast to get a grip!

Sorry about your delay, but i really do hope u get a response soon and i understand u used PFL,so i guess all should be fine atleast. was just going to ask u if u did subscribed for the VFS SMS Notification, with that i assume they will notify u on the progress of your application.

, Thx!, as per the academic reference, the school requested it while i was seeking admission with the school, i submitted 2 academic refs to the school, but when they issued me my CAS, the school has only indicated in my CAS that the Docs I used in gaining the admission was MY BTECH CERT, TRANSCRIPT and WACE!, they didnt include it in the CAS that I used academic references as well, so upon applying for the VISA i only submitted the Docs the School indicated in the CAS (BTECH CERT, TRANSCRIPT and WAEC), i didn't put academic refs in the visa application cos the school hasn't put it as one of the documents in the CAS issued to me even though it was one of the Docs i used in gaining the admission, but upon reading UKBA Guidance, they instructed that all Docs used in gaining admission should be submitted, even Academic Refs which I did't submit to them because my school hasn't indicate that i should submit that too on the CAS, Thats my only fear now!, do u think it matters?, *deep breathe*

Morning!, Good information there, but u know what, i submitted my application and i haven't indicated the OANDA conversion rate on my application by any mean either writing it on the statement or submitting a print out from www.oanda.com, I assume that wouldn't matter though since they might verify by themselves using OANDA, but have been careful enough to put a sum well over the expected fee, atleast i sud have 2.1m for 28days, but i have put 3.3m in it for 28days instead,trust it doesn't matter to them if i exceed the required?

Moreso, I didn't include my academic refrence letter from my school in the visa application as my CAS hasn't stated that I should include it, but reading through the UKBA guidance note, they advise we include academic references we have used in securing the admission as well, but my CAS has only indicated my BTEch cert, Transcript and Waec cert,so that was all i put. will that matter?

Also didnt put a photocopy of my PAssport o, the copy i made was stamped and returned back to me by VFS.

@MAZAMAZA, Hello, do u mean one should put an oando.com conversion print out with one's application, I only used a 6-month statement ooo and a reference letter from my bank!, That was all?

PLease lousy people can someone confirm how much ponds sterling exchange for?, also can one get it in any of how local banks instaed of the aboki gray markets?, if so, which of the banks?

Thanks alot!, yeah its God now o and he will surely favour us!, I actually wanted to clear my fear today and i inquired from my account officer if the bank will issue a reference letter on my savings account and he confirmed they will, so i guess one of my many worries solved now!,

have googled on the "Citizens Advice Bureau" and i am tryna read through the site now, u can equally drop ur suggestions and all u feel about the organization, benefits and all, xtreme!

Although I will be applying for my Visa by next week, tuesday prescisely, i have done all necessary requirements and i should apply next week tuesday, I pray for God's favour.
