The 6 months' notice actually covers his rent period which is only accepted by people that doesn't know their rights, the notice should start from the expiration of his rent and not in between his rent.

What if he does not leave after the 6mths when his rent just expired
What will the landlord claim as his evidence for giving quit notice when ur rent is still valid.
I doubt he can take any legal actions on him, cos I wonder which Ballif will follow home to execute it

They should interrogate the squatters who collects the rents from them.
They should arrest the landlord and fine him heavily
That's a whole lots of money he collects annually.
