He paid a visit to orictoritak motherless babies home in Kazan Russia, on Saturday , to give out gifts to orphans and motherless babies and stated that he will have the Nigerian version done in december.The gifts was given in memory of his late brother and mother.The foundation will also be setup in memory of his late brother.

Nigerian football player Bobsam Elejiko has died during his club match in Belgium .Fifth-tier Belgian club Merksem S.C. says Bobsam Elejiko collapsed during the Provincial 1 game against F.C. Kaart on Sunday and attempts to resuscitate the Nigerian-born Belgian were unsuccessful.
The cause of death was not immediately clear.Merksem says in a statement on its website that “we express our condolences to the Elejiko family during this difficult time.”The 30-year-old Elejiko had previously played for Westerlo and Antwerp among other teams.The match was abandoned after Elejiko’s death.

It’s true that I was beaten and almost killed by the thugs guarding the Chairman of Oshodi L.G.A. My wife, my brother and myself went to pay a courtesy to my boss, Tunde Kelani on the Salah day. When we got there, I went round to greet people and when I got to where the Oshodi L.G.A Chairman sat, I wanted to shake him when his brother said I ought to have prostrated.I didn’t reply him even when he started insulting me, saying actors are stupid and useless. I made to leave when suddenly, I saw a group of thugs, numbering up to twenty pounced on me and started beating me up. They broke bottles on my head, kicked me and almost killed me if not for my wife, brother and other people who came to my rescue.hI’ve done a lot for the Lagos State Government even without being paid. Why should I then be treated in such a manner like a criminal? What the Chairman of Oshodi Local Government and his brother did was wrong. They are public servants and should be polite. I never met them before in my life. Neither did I involve myself in any kind of politics. That day was the first time, I set my eyes on them. They probably felt intimidated by my presence and the way people around hailed me.

The Oshodi LGA Chairman was said to have showed indifference while the incident lasted. It was also gathered that the two armed policemen who were his guards did nothing to arrest the situation either.

A Benin-based Nollywood actor, Mr. Daniel Iyamu, has been allegedly killed in his sleep by his wife in Ugbihoko quarters, Egor North-East Local Government Area of Edo State.
Source gathered that the remains of the late Iyamu were found on his bed by his neighbours, who forced his door open following cries from his children that their father was yet to get out of bed at 10am.
It was also gathered that the late artiste was said to have sustained injuries on his head, which suggested that he might have been hit on the head while asleep.The late actor’s daughter, Faith, a student of Federal Polytechnic, Auchi, told journalists that their mother has been suffering from suspected mental illness which their father had been treating since last year.

Ace Comedian /musician Julius Agwu has delved into  football as he sponsors the Akpor Football Talent Hunt Competition to be played out amongst the 10 communities in Akpor Kingdom of Rivers State.

      According to Agwu, he wants to encourage the people of his area and give back to the place he comes from.
  “I thought long and hard about it and I decided that if I want to give back to the people it should not be a music or comedy thing.
     We all know that football is the in thing these days and I am privileged to know a lot of these former Super Eagles players and football academy owners who I have decided to invite over to watch the competition and possibly pick out talents who may play football to the highest level,” Agwu said.

Former Super Eagles captain, Austin Jay Jay Okocha, and Flying Eagles coach, John Obuh, have  been confirmed to be in attendance at the the opening match on Sunday, November 13, 2011 .

Rapper and actor Heavy D, who played an influential role in shaping rap music in the late '80s and early '90s with a fusion of New Jack Swing and reggae, has died. He was 44.
Heavy D, who was born Dwight Arrington Myers, died Tuesday in the emergency room at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after collapsing on the walkway outside his Beverly Hills home, according to law enforcement sources.

Earlier this week, the Black Eyed Peas announced they'll be taking a break out of respect for Fergie who wants to try to start a family, but the latest rumor is that may not be the case anymore.
According to Media Take Out,Grammy award winning singer Ashanti (who has been on tour with the Black Eyed Peas) will replace Fergie once she leaves for her break on their last scheduled show, which is set for November 23. --Agency would work within the mandate of the law in pursuing its duties-NDLEA

       Nollywood Popular actor ,Babatunde Omidina a.k.a Baba suwe has been released this morrning after he met his bail terms and conditions.
   The news just got now is that the lawyers of the agency are perfecting plans to re-arrest the comedian in order to detain and place him under further observation.
     A reliable source inside the agency has informed newsmen  that its officials are working hard to present another legal hurdle for the actor, which may lead to his re-arrest.
      The spokesperson of the NDLEA, Mitchell Ofoyeju, would, however, neither confirm nor deny this, preferring to say that the agency would work within the mandate of the law in pursuing its duties. It was gathered that the agency’s lawyers are working on a fresh injunction from the high court to restrain the actor after he gets his freedom today

      The agency was surely not happy with Justice Yetunde Idowu's order to release baba suwe today November 4 as she criticized them holding him without charges for weeks.
    However ,Femi Oloruntoba, the drug agency’s lead prosecutor, told journalists in Lagos that Baba Suwe’s case would not hurt the agency’s image. “With all the scans and expert opinions, it’s reasonable for us to hold onto him,” the prosecutor said.

The General Secretary of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN) Idowu Blessing Akinnehin is dead.
According to source Akinnehin slumped at the Igbosere Magistrate’s Court yesterday and was confirmed dead at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, LASUTH, Ikeja, Lagos, southwest Nigeria.
Blessing was one of the defendants in a case brought to Court 3, Igbosere Magistrate’s Court by the Special Fraud Unit (SFU). Former PMAN president Admiral Dele Abiodun and Champion Kunle Opio are also co-defendants.
They were all in court yesterday when Blessing slumped. He was said to have been nursing an undisclosed ailment in the last two days but he decided to attend the trial yesterday as a law abiding citizen.

Popular Yoruba movie star, Bimbo Akinsanya, has been arrested and arraigned before an Ikeja Magistrate’s Court over alleged conspiracy to murder Rev. Pat Ogechi Dennah.Bimbo and others now at large, were alleged to have on 28 October 2011 at 20, Samuel Street, Akowonjo, Egbeda, a suburb of Lagos, southwest Nigeria, conspired to commit felony by wounding Rev. Dennah.
The police prosecutor, Barth Nwokedi in the two-count charge brought against the defendant, alleged that Bimbo pointed Rev. Dennah to a yet to be identified boy to kill her.
He added that the boy, who is now at large, shot at Rev. Dennah but only wounded her on her left shoulder.
The alleged offence allegedly committed by the actress is punishable under section 338 and 516 of the criminal code, cap C17, vol 11, laws of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2003.
    One of the charges reads: “ That you, Bimbo Akinsanya and others now at large on 28 October, 2011 at about 2030hrs at No. 20, Samuel Street, Akowonjo, Egbeda, Lagos, in the Lagos magisterial district, did point Rev. Pat Ogechi Dennah to a boy yet to be identified, to kill her and the said boy shot her with a gun and wounded her on her left shoulder and thereby committed an offence punishable under section 338 of the criminal code cap C17 Vol. 11 laws of Lagos State of Nigeria 2003.”
When the charges were read out to Bimbo, she pleaded not guilty to all the allegations.
She was subsequently granted bail by the presiding magistrate, Mr A.O. Isaac in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties who must be resident in Lagos.
The matter has been adjourned till 30 November, 2011 for trial.

Teen Idol, Justin bieber has set a new YouTube record, becoming the first person to have two billion views on his YouTube Music Channel, report CNN .
Justin, who’s hard at work promoting his Holiday CD, Under the Mistletoe, had 94 million views on his channel in the past month alone. The last artist to set a record was Lady Gaga, who in October 2010 became the first to garner one billion views.
Under the Mistletoe, released Tuesday, is Bieber’s first effort as a baritone, a signthat he is maturing into a man.
