Nkemosarodion65: Try to air dry as much as possible. I did everything to prevent my daughter for having diaper rash, but she still had it. I kept on applying her diaper cream and wash her bum with water after every diaper change and let it air dry for 30 minutes before wearing her diaper. When i'm less busy, I remove her diaper and hand fan her bum. The rashes faded after a week. |

Alcohol and fragrance free soaps are good for babies, but no matter how good the soaps are they still have ingredients in them that strips out moisture from the baby's skin, thereby leaving the body dry. Everyday use of this soap causes the baby's body to dry out. 5 months old baby can't play as hard as a 2 years old. That's to say your baby's skin is clean, only water will do. I have been using one sabamed soap on my baby since she was 3 months, i'm still using that soap ( it's remaining small sha) My first child had reoccurring dry skin because I used soap morning and night to bathe him. My daughter I bathe with water everyday but I use soap 2 times in a week. Her still is so fine, no rash or eczema. Just minimise the way you use soap on your baby and watch his skin. Ori, coconut and palm kernel oil is the best. Also reduce chemical when it comes to your baby. I use pure water to bathe her, so I don't come close to savlon. Anubabs: Same thing happened to my daughter. It happened when she was 2 months. I guess it was Bathing water that enter her ear. I sometimes forget to clean her ear after bathe. My husband got some antibiotics for her( he is a medical doctor). I only gave her for few days and started cleaning her ears immediately after bath. I heard it goes away eventually even without medication, but see a doctor to prescribed antibiotics for her, and endeavour to clean her ears after bathing her. |

unex50: For your baby, you can start the puff puff, but not too tight. Don’t use her Bathing soap to wash her hair, it makes the hair dryer and strong. You can get a baby satin hair bonnet ( check @bows_babies on instagram get one) to protect her hair after bathe. For baby skin, I love shea butter. I use palm kernel oil and shea butter on my baby. I bathe my baby everyday, but I use soap twice a week on her. Soap strips the natural oil of the baby. Sometimes, I go days without using oil on her and her skin is good. Keep using shea butter or palm kernel oil and avoid using soap on her daily. 1 Like |

Jaygrl: They have varieties of kids or baby hair product in big supermarket. Just read the ingredients and look out for natural product in them. Avoid using hair shampoo on her all the time, use conditioner instead. I use cantu kids conditioner. I can send you the picture if you want to see. Must importantly use baby hair bonnet to cover your babies hair. Their hair drys out a lot and also they love to sleep on a particle position which causes their hair to cut more. I sell newborn, infant, toddler and adult satin hair bonnet. I started taking care of my daughter hair the moment we left the hospital. You can check us at @bows_babies on instagram to see her hair and order hair bonnet for you baby. 1 Like |

Toopee: Give it time, it will. Always put your baby's mouth on your nipple to suck, do that whenever your baby is awake. Drink hot tea and pepper soup. Also it's too early to start bring out milk. It took 3 days for milk to start coming out from my breast. It start with water like discharge, then yellowish milk, finally proper milk. I never gave up, I kept putting her mouth on my nipples to suck. 1 Like |

wiffylove: My baby is 6 months, she just started eating. Not really sha, more like tasting the food. I bought rice cereal. I have made up my mind to be making all her purees. Start with rice cereal, gradually and gently introduce your baby to other meal. And also a spoon of Rice cereal for starter, increase when they show sign that they want more, so you wouldn't waste the cereal. |

angeltolly: Babies make different sound while sleeping or awake. For breast milk try eating fruits that has sugar. Eat almond and Avocado too. |
