FamilyNobody Truly Understands The Pains Of The Orphans by Brahamimo(op):
There is a saying that, "If you no go, you no go know".

I have just read a sad story on this forum of how an uncle threw his late brother's children out of the house. And now the children are stranded and how nowhere else to go.

This was what informed my post.

I'm suffering same. As a matter of fact, I don't have a home. In the last 15years, I have no had a family reunion with my siblings because we are scattered around. Nobody can understand this particular pain I'm talking about. Nobody!

In my case, the said uncle took my father's land and built on it without even consulting us first. We were very young when we lost our parents. Other uncles of ours were against his decision to take that land. They had told him that these children will grow up one day and would want to build their own house. Where will they now build by the time they grow up?
But this particular uncle never listen.
He is a very diabolical person and everyone Knows.
He doesn't know anything or anyone like God. He's a traditional African man. He has charms everywhere— And I really do not know what to do. I have been advised to let go of the land, because if I drag it, He might harm me with his charms.

My eyes are gone due to excessive intake of Garri.

I drink Garri twice everyday, in the last two weeks or so.

A friend sent the below texts in quote to me yesterday when we were chatting after he reached out to me. A hardworking man, a graduate.

And he didn't go wrong, it is just our successive leaders messing up people's lives because they are not patriotic. They would rather loot the amount of money they would never spend or need than to use it to better the lives of the citizens
It's painful, to say the least.

President Tinubu, Senator Akpabio, Senator Mark, Damagun, others condole Senator Abba Moro over sons' deaths

The Abuja home of the senator representing Benue South Senatorial District and Senate Minority Leader, Comrade Abba Moro PhD, on Tuesday, 21st October, 2025 played host to dignitaries and sympathisers who trooped in to condole the senator over the deaths of his son, Peter Moro, and grandson, Abba Moro Jr.

Leading the 10th National Assembly to Senator Moro's house, the President of the Senate, H.E., Senator Godswill Akpabio GCON said the entire senate came to sympathize with Senator Moro over the tragic deaths of his son and grandson. He described Senator Moro as a national leader and stabilising factor in the 10th Senate, stating that his pains were the pains of the entire National Assembly and Nigeria at large.

Senator Akpabio said losing loved ones in the manner Senator Moro lost his son and grandson was heartbreaking. He enjoined the Minority Leader to take solace in the knowledge that his children had gone to be with their Maker.

On the involvement of cows in the accident that claimed Senator Moro's son, Senator Akpabio said all the necessary measures should be taken for cows to be taken off the roads and ranched. He said Peter's death should be the last of such death in the country.

The President of the Senate was accompanied by the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Jubril Barau; The Senate Leader, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, and a litany of senators and members of the House of Representatives.

On his own part, the National Chairman of PDP, Amb. Umar Illya Damagun said he received the news of the double tragedy with shock. He said PDP identified with Senator Moro at this trying moment and urged him to be strong. He prayed for the repose of the souls of the deceased.

Several other dignitaries were on ground to condole the Senator.

Senator Moro thanked the Senate President, members of the National Assembly, PDP family, and all those who came to condole him and his family. He said he was greatly encouraged by the show of love and prayed God to bless them.

His words;

"I feel proud of the 10th Senate and wouldn't want to be in a better community at this time than the community of the 10th Senate. The show of love and solidarity shown to me and the family have rekindled my faith in the Nigerian project and I will put everything in me to help build a Nigeria of our dream that leads to prosperity for all."

Meanwhile, in their separate condolence messages to Senator Moro, the President and Commander-In-Chief, Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR; Former President of the Senate, Senator David Mark, and Governor of Benue State, Fr. Hyacinth Alia, sent their heartfelt condolences to Senator Moro and his family over the tragic incidents. They said they shared in the senator's pains and grief, and prayed God to give him and his family the hearts to bear the irreplaceable losses.

Your breakthrough is closer that you think bro, do not give up. Believe in yourself still. I recently went through this phase in life when everything seems meaningless, hopelessness left right and center. But what i do not lose is the "God factor ", and he came through for me. So believe me when i say, i know how you feel.

Wish i could help in a little way i can but still, it's had to really know who genuinely needs help and who's just out to scam kind hearted people this days.

God be with you mate!
How am I going to scam u ?

There's absolutely no logical reason why Nigerians should be going through severe hunger and starvation with the abundant resources in the country. Sadly, there are millions of families who are going through the same predicament like you.

The hunger is really very serious.
Yesterday I used the last money I had to buy rice beans and otter ingredients to cook, I managed the food from yesterday till this morning, since it was my Last food and there was no hope, I didn't want to eat it in the morning, but leave it till afternoon or even evening. Fear dey even catch me to eat am. But e don already dey smell, it was getting bad already. Life just tire me . I had to eat it before it would go bad completely. As I was eating it, I was eating with fear and worry about where the next one will come from.

I was just asking God, God what kind of life is this? The fear alone didn't even make me to settle down and enjoy the food. It's painful. I'm going to bed on an empty stomach tonight and no hope for tommorow either 🥲
