Depends on which version of the night king we are talking about, the book version which the OP is talking about is different from the movie version though they're both called the night king, and their origins are different |

igbeshit: you are deficient in comprehension ?
you have comprehension deficiency ?
how can you put a noun in front of an adjective ? FAIL!Modern English construct isn't confined to the few sequences and patterns in your imaginary corpus, so it is okay if you reject my sequence as being ungrammatical but grammar isn't only a large but finite set of observed utterances and written texts, it is also more abstract like the implicit knowledge competent speakers have about grammatical sentences and also can be a combination of the two. What you lack is the implicit knowledge of a competent speaker, which says a lot about your claim to speak English better than say, me! Yet still, how is "comprehension" a noun in the sentence "do you know you're comprehension deficient"? |

igbeshit: I don't watch CCTV from China. it is run by the communism party, which means, it is boring.
and I don't think the broadcasters speak imperfect English. the employees in the top Chinese organizations have studied in US for their bachelor degrees.
they speak better English than I. If they speak better English than "I" (you) then how the hell can you claim to speak better English than educated Nigerians? For you who claims to know logic 1. You; Chinese speak better English than Nigerians. 2. Us; the crème de la crème of Chinese English speakers are like the presenters on CCTV and their spoken English is terrible and at best, barely passable because most average educated Nigerians speak English better than them. 3. You; They speak better English than me because they were western educated bla bla bla.................... 4. Us; then how can you claim to speak better English than us? I haven't spoken to you before so i can't say much about how well you speak english or otherwise, but if i am to go by your written English then boy, you're bleeped up because your written English is terrible but you adamantly refute this assessment from those who know better even though you know so little! because now it is the beginning of Chinese economic invasion. and the first few guys who can speak little Chinese could earn comparatively large sum of money.

Chysler: Everything came to him so sudden and surprised, he couldn't believe what sansa he thought was on same page with him was saying... He was simply suffocated by the turn of event having relaxed thinking he had played a clean smart game. That was the reason every lies to deny the accusations eluded him and he unconsciously through fear and desperation admitted deducably to the crimes... Everyone no matter how smart you are can fall like him when such carpet is pulled suddenly from under your feet... Brans timely startling revelation was a nail to his coffin and am even certain he saw stars and was feeling dizzy when Bran reminded him of his words thereby shutting all doors of smart moves in his head. Like i said in the other thread, the moment when bran interrupted him saying "chaos is a ladder" is the moment he should have noticed unnatural forces were in play and run for his life |

Don't u see it coming? I kinda agree with you. Would Jamie get over Cersie easily? He loved her....
Tormmund badly wants it and if he gets it, 'it'd surely be a wildling affair' me likey but I think The hound will be d one to hit her honeypot. You forget brienne of tarth is like an older version of arya stark, a lady who'll rather be a knight, an unnatural desire in their world, she's no brood mare to be married of or traded, the type to fall in love and suppress that emotion so for my bet, only tortmund will stand a chance among the three, just for being an annoying pest |

rose54321: Cersei is just like Tywin her father. I never would have guessed that the Euron scene was prearranged. Damn. In all fairness to her. Tywin would have done exactly the same thing, pledge allegiance then betray. She truly is her father's child.
On another note, while I dislike Sansa character I loved how GRRM made us realise that everyones strength is relative to their journey. Arya could never have survived Sansa journey she lacks the patience (she would have long been killed) and equally Sansa could never have survived Aryas.
Sansa's path needed patience to a fault while Aryas needed a fighter. In other words we are all equipped with the tools needed to survive in life. We should never compare or underestimate another's journey. Amen to that! |

I still think he was captured, until proven wrong, his being in the red keeps dungeons wasn't in tandem with any of his agendas known or suspected, after his release he didn't return to kingslanding even after donning a different face meaning his mission there was either complete or no longer of paramount importance. TheKingIsHere: Thanks for your reply. Now to the first point , the unsullied were presumed dead since they were on an abandoned island with no food and means of transport to go home.... Remember dany always used it to remind tyrion that he failed in the attack of casterly rock.
If the unsullied were known to be alive and healthy why was it deemed a failure? Even dany didnt know, in previous episodes, if the unsullied were alive, now we see them spring up from nowhere all ready for battle. Haba!!! The ojoro here is too much.
The second point, you said the hound is no longer the hound but is service the lord of light. It is the same lord of light the hound said he should go fvck himself? Also, why was he afraid of fire in episode 6 but became so brave when carrying fire in episode 7? This scenerio begs for a strong answer and the lord of light excuse aint strong enough. The unsullied's conquest of casterly rock was only deemed a failure or an empty victory because the lannister army they were supposed to be defeating at casterly rock had left to go attack and conquer the tyrells of highgarden, an ally of Danny and they weren't presumed dead due to insufficient food, they were known to have insufficient food to keep them in the castle so they'll have to march and abandon their prize leaving only a few men behind, get your facts straight |

Gbola5: Ok. Let's start making just about anything work.
Here I go - The Vale is rooted in the Faith of the Seven, the Knights of the Vale have no business going to the Godswood, or a weirwood, they would have to go to a Sept, so they can't have seen Bran doing his thing. the major player of the vale (asides little finger) the lord Royce is of the first men and follows the old gods and would therefore have reason to go to the godswood and its weirwood |
TV/Movies › Re: Game Of Thrones Discussion (Beware Of Spoilers) by BraniacX(m): 10:27am On Aug 29, 2017 |
TheKingIsHere: Okay, so having watched episode 7 several times, i noticed some few loop holes that needs to be registered . Unlike episode 6, this episode have few loop holes. And before some people come here to remind us that it is a fantasy tv show, yes it is but it doesn't mean we shouldn't ask logical questions when we notice some absurdities.
Also note that GOT is one of the best if not the best TV series ATM. So here we go
1. The miraculous appearance of the Unsullied soldiers:
We all thought these guys were dead in episode 2 and nothing was said about them again but all of a sudden they re-appear all hail and hearty for another battle. How come? What happened to them all these while? Didnt they starve to death at Casterly Rock? How on earth did they get back on time to kings landing?I believe this is something they should have showed us on camera. This is a major loop hole in this episode and making it the entrance of the episode is really provocative to logical minds.
2. The hound carries a fire lit lamp:
Erm, i thought the hound was afraid of any thing fire so how come he could carry a lamp of fire without the fear of being burnt? The dude has been literally avoided anything fire but today is the first time i am seeing him carrying fire. I might be wrong though.
3. The mountain's eyes were looking all blurred so he shouldn't be able to see properly. From the close up view we saw the mountain have these red cataract eyes, so on a normal day he shouldn't be able to see properly, but here he is seeing perfectly. He knows when to move, who to attack and so on. I am really surprised that he can see properly.
4. Rheagar looking like viserys in a wig:
So many rheagar fans were expecting to see a handsome, gorgeous looking dude with sexy abs like CRonaldo's own but they end up with a guy that looks like viserys ( dany's dead brother) in a wig. How terrible is that?
5. The all seeing bran goofs big time: With the way bran has been forming to be all seeing and sees everything, one would expect bran to give detailed information about a past event. However, like yonce pointed out , bran claims to see everything rather in a terrible way. In his words "I see the past. I even see what's happening right now"
But he didn't see Rhaegar and Lyanna tying the knot till Samwell mentioned it. Funny isnt it?
Okay, how about Bran; "I am the three eyed raven, I know everything"
Yet he assumed that Jon was a Sand and not a Targaryen.
Bran is definately the worst 3 eyed raven ever. He cant see properly or give detailed information about what happened in the past unless the person is having sexx or being rapped.
The goofs were just too much for someone who can see everything.
So what are your thoughts and observations? Feel free to share. Bashing is allowed. About the mountain's eyes, conjunctivitis or maybe scleritis, not cataract so he should be able to see On the unsullied, time has passed since they took casterly rock, time enough to get the march towards kingslanding order, remember the boat journey from eastwatch by the sea to kingslanding is over two weeks which will be enough for the march from casterly rock to kingslanding and no, they did not starve, while the lannisters emptied their stores, they left enough for the few men guarding casterly rock to sustain on in their expected long siege which would suffice for the numerically larger unsullied in a short stay On Sandor clegane the hound holding a fire lit torch, you have no case, he's afraid when confronted with fire not when he uses it for regular things like lighting a torch to see his way, or roasting a rabbit Bran knows as much as he wants to know, but rather than saying he sees everything, he should more correctly say, he can see anything he's asked to see (for now at least) so no, bran is like an earth orbiting spy satellite attached to a backwards only time traveling machine, he can see things, just only things he decides to see And who else was rhaegar supposed to look like? You? difference is, he was a crocodile where viserys was a lizard and Danny a true dragon |

MaziOmenuko: Nah, he wasn't tried fairly. He denied all the charges so the logical and right thing was to set up a trial; but the stark daughters were the judge, jury and executioner.
For Cersei, she was on point. Your enemy's enemy is your friend; at least for the time being. If the mother of dragons can't defeat the army of the dead with her dragons, dothraki hordes and unsullied, then it was meaningless reinforcing them with her army. Let them sort themselves out then you await the winner; either for a truce or an all-out - attack or to bend the knee, whichever favors you. She took the right step. Her brother is acting like Edard Stark, his stupid honor will have him executed, we've seen it many times already. The game of thrones isn't played with honor! Baelish admitted to pushing lyssa arryn lady of the vale through the moon door to become lord protector of the vale and explained it away as trying to save sansa, isn't that treasonous enough to warrant a guilty sentence and an execution? |

TheKingIsHere: See dem Sansa fanboys. You guys are very funny. See how you are jubilating and wanking over Sansa's mediocrity. It is obvious that it was a planned set up for LF by Arya, Sansa and bran.
Bran obviously must have informed both sisters of LF plan and also let them know what little finger did in the past.
BTW it took brienne just few days to know that little finger was dangerous but it took Sansa a whooping 7 seasons to discover that.
You should all be grateful to all seeing bran.
Now that LF is dead, what is Sansa's usefulness since the night king is near? What is arya's usefulness? Sansa is gathering war supplies for the army that will go north and winter supplies in case there is a siege of winterfell, so what was your question again? |
