Properties / Re: Cost, Estimate For Building A 3bedroom Bungalow In Nigeria (Detailed Info) by Bravemind55(m): 11:45pm On Sep 22, 2021
Everything depends on who is handling your project, if you give it to someone like the person that post earlier here, my brother you won't be able to complete the building, so the best thing is to look for someone that have the fear of God.
AsomArchitectNG:
You’ve come a long way as a tenant and it’s time to build your house. You’ve started searching for designs, calculating how much you need for the project. Look no further, this post is for you.
I will try as much as possible to demystify the cost of building a house in Nigeria.

A list of price of building materials will also be added. This is to help in cost estimates particularly since tastes are different.

However to help us in arriving at a good estimate, i will be taking case studies of a three bedroom apartment built in three locations which includes: Nasarawa, Lagos and Kwara. The building process will be broken into stages and the amount spent will be included.

For those intending to build sit back and relax while i totally Unfold the cost of building a three bedroom apartment here in Nigeria.

You can also contact us if you want your building project done for you from planning stage to completion stage, Or rather you need advice on how to go about your building project.

You can also ask questions in areas not cleared about. Thanks

But first, let us see what is involved when getting a land in Nigeria.

Gutter that was done by one man ONLY, the owner of destiny hotel
Janesouthall:
Op... First ask ur self how many people get gutter for that street and where the gutter lead to... And how many people dey clear/clean their gutter regularly... If you can fit solve 70% of this.. I think u r problem will be solved a little

It's smart idoma street and not destiny hotel road .
Love4all24:

Definite Destiny Hotel Road is the name of the street/road. Our house is off this major road and our own road linking to this is equally bad. If the main one is done, we can interlock our own to join the main road!

To be honest with you, there is no place to channel the flood to, unless you it will be channel to the express road which is federal road and government won't accept that, the best way is for every landlord to bring out money for a bigger and wider gutter to be done there, all the roads at that Axis are suffering the same fate, like nowayo road, Asaba aluminum road, road Opposite summit, Kim royal hotel road, terminal one hotel road, and road Opposite former deputy governor office, etc.
Love4all24:

I personally collected the money from my family. We tried so hard to have a meeting. We were added to the Whatsapp group for house owners. No single person showed any bit of enthusiasm. We didn’t know this road was so bad when we built our house there 2 years ago. We didn’t even live in Nigeria. To deal with such right now is so difficult. We are willing to cooperate. If the Government can force every other landlord or tenants to pay any amount, my family will pay. We just want a good road. The area is beautiful and safe and we live in a close. All we lack is good road.

Smart idoma street by ever gas, Benin-asaba express way.
ceejay10:
Op which part of Asaba is this? Ezinne?

Travel / Re: Flooding In My Area In Asaba And Government’s Negligence by Bravemind55(m): 5:43pm On Sep 01, 2021
Did you get in touch with the two hotels there, The owner of definite destiny hotel has done that road more that 5 times, no body paid a dime, he did a drainage system to the express but it was blocked, at least people staying there can get steady light From destiny hotel due to the owner bringing line 33 there. I know so much about the road, so you saying your family raised 2.5m I don't know what to say, every landlord needs to contribute to the betterment of a street waiting for the government will not help.
Love4all24:

My family raised 2.5m last year ourselves and asked other people living around to come together to do it but no one brought out a dime and the money we had wasn’t enough.

AND YOU THINK PEOPLE WON'T LOOK AT YOU IN A BAD WAY?
CharisEleos:
If you have, give. If you don't have, God understands. There's no need to feel somehow and it shouldn't discourage you from going to church.
Go and give your dance and clap offering to God.

Shalom.
