Please pardon my long script, I really need answers and advise
On the 29th Oct. 2021 I made a search on Jiji and saw a galaxy A32 (2months old) for 90k (distress sale according to the seller), we agreed and she sent the phone to via dispatch rider, I checked the phone and it was ok so I transferred her money to her, after a day a message popped up saying the phone was purchased on loan from M-Kopa, I was bothered so I called her and explained what I saw but she said she didn't purchase it from M-Kopa, subsequently, the phone was blocked and she asked me to return it and be refunded but little did I know that she wanted to scam me, I returned the phone through a dispatch rider and till date she refused refunding my money and she blocked me, she stopped using the number I was contacting her with.
According to her she stays at Igando axis in Lagos, I tried using Google find my phone app and that was the same axis I got from the search before she wiped the phone clean.
I was able to get hold of the phone IMEI number, and I plan on either tracking the phone or destroying it using the IMEI number, sometimes I want to forget and move on but it's really difficult.
Please if you have experienced something like this advise me on what I should do because I'm devastated.

Health / Coronavirus : Rivers State Government Closes All Borders by bravoluv83(m): 12:42pm On Mar 25, 2020
CORONAVIRUS : RIVERS STATE GOVERNMENT CLOSES ALL BORDERS

In a move to check the spread of coronavirus to Rivers State, the State Government on Wednesday announced that air , sea and land routes into the state will be closed to traffic, beginning 6am, Thursday, March 26, 2020.
In a broadcast on Wednesday, Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike said that the measure became necessary in view of recent developments.

He said: "It is with gratitude to God that I announce to you that our State would have been infected with coronavirus yesterday, but for the vigilance of security agents who, acting on a tip- off prevented an infected person from boarding a flight from Abuja to Port Harcourt.

"The infected person beat all security measures that were put in place at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja and Abuja and was to sneak into Port Harcourt before security agents stopped her.

"Based on this alarming Information, the State Security Council met yesterday and reviewed measures already put in place and decided that there was urgent need to adopt stringent measures to protect those living and doing business in the state from the virus.

"The council has therefore taken the following painful decisions:

1. With effect from 6pm on Thursday, March 26, 2020 , the Port Harcourt International Airport, Omagwa will not be open to air traffic. While we may not have the right to stop flights from entering Port Harcourt, we cannot allow anybody coming from the airport to enter our State. We are confident that the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) and other federal agencies will cooperate with us.

2. All Land and Sea Borders will be closed.

3. Vehicular movements in an out of the state have been banned. In essence no vehicle will leave Rivers State for any other State and no vehicle will be allowed to enter the state.

Governor Wike said that the new measures will be in place till further notice.

He noted: "Let me reiterate that the situation we are facing requires drastic measures because coronavirus has ravaged many countries.

"Security Agencies have been empowered to strictly enforce this directive. There will be no room for sacred cows because the virus is no respecter of persons.

"May I once again call for the support and understanding of everyone living and doing business in Rivers State to help the relevant Government Agencies implement these measures to check the spread of coronavirus to the state."

The Rivers State Governor added: "At this time in our national life, we must shun primordial sentiments and face the reality on ground.
"I am confident that God being on our side , the temporary hardship we are facing today will come to an end very soon."
Governor Wike recounted earlier measures taken by the Rivers State Government to tackle coronavirus , emphasising that they were still in force.
He said: "In that broadcast, I announced the setting up of Surveillance Posts at our land and sea borders, beginning from Tuesday, March 24, 2020.

"I also informed you that after due consultations with Religious Leaders, all forms of open worship including crusades and vigils were banned.

"Public Burials and weddings were prohibited, while public parks, night clubs and Cinemas were directed to close down."

Coronavirus: Governor Wike Announces Closure Of Public Parks, Night Clubs And Cinemas

In furtherance of the commitment of the Rivers State Government to protect residents of the state, Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike on Monday announced that beginning Tuesday, March 24, 2020, all public parks, night clubs and cinemas will remain closed till further notice.

In a State Broadcast on Monday, Governor Wike directed religious groups to temporarily stop all forms of open worship.

He said: “with effect from the same date(Tuesday, March 24, 2020), all public parks, night clubs and cinemas in the State are to remain closed till further notice.

“Similarly, after due consultations with religious leaders, it was agreed that all religious organisations are to temporarily stop all forms of open worship . Public burial and wedding ceremonies are also banned within this period.

“In view of the fact that the disease spreads fast through body contact, social distance has become imperative if we are to contain the spread.

“May I, therefore call on all Religious Leaders, Traditional Rulers and Opinion Leaders in the State to assist government to implement these decisions by ensuring that persons under their care do not fall foul of this directive. “

Governor Wike directed Local Government Council Chairmen to ensure that public burials and weddings do not take place in their respective areas.

He said: “May I emphasise that Local Government Chairmen are to be held responsible if public burials and weddings take place in their Local Government Areas.

“Government will set up monitoring teams for the 23 Local Government Areas to ensure compliance. Defaulters will be seen as enemies of the State and will be made to face appropriate sanctions.

“My Dear Good People of Rivers State, the essence of governance is to protect lives and we cannot be indifferent when this COVID-19 continues to claim lives world-wide.

“We urge everyone to remain calm and maintain social distance. We shall continue to review the situation and adjust accordingly.

“Like I said in my Broadcast last Friday, these decisions may seem painful for all of us but there is no price that is too much to pay for us to stay alive. “

The Rivers State Governor stated with effect from Tuesday, March 24, 2020, surveillance posts will be set up across the state.

“The Rivers State Government having reviewed current developments across the country is desirous to further strengthen prevention measures across the State to keep our citizens safe.

“To this end, with effect from tomorrow, Tuesday, March 24, 2020 , Surveillance Posts are to be set up at the following Borders of the State:

(1) Emohua for motorists coming from Bayelsa and States

(2) Omerelu for motorists coming from Owerri

(5)Oyigbo Toll Gate for motorists coming from Aba and

(6)Opoku in Khana Local Government Area for motorists coming from Akwa Ibom State.

“Marine entry points: Port Harcourt and Onne Ports , Nembe, Bille,Bonny and NLNG Jetties are also going to be under surveillance. Each of the Surveillance Posts shall be manned by trained health and security personnel who will ensure that motorists and seafarers are tested before they are allowed to enter the State.

“All motorists and seafarers are please enjoined to cooperate with the Surveillance teams as they have been empowered to legitimately enforce this directive,” Governor Wike said.

The Governor added: “I use this medium to call on citizens to minimise family visits . Rather , everyone should maintain contacts through the use of telephones.”

Education / ASUU To Resume Indefinite Strike On Monday by bravoluv83(m): 11:25am On Dec 03, 2017
The Joint Action Committee has directed the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities, Non-Academic Staff Union of Universities and Associated Institutions and National Association of Academic Technologists to resume strike on Monday.
A letter to all the branch chairmen titled, ‘Directives to immediately resume the suspended strike,’ was signed by Samson Ugwoke, SSANU, Chris Ani, NASU and Sani Suleiman, NAAT.
The JAC had claimed that only a ‘pittance’ was given to the three unions out of the N23bn ‘earned allowance’ released by the Federal Government to the Academic Staff Union of Universities.
The union complained that the government failed to explain how the money was shared between ASUU and the non-academic teaching staff unions.
The strike notice read, “Please, recall our last correspondence to you in which we informed you of the letter written to the Minister of Education rejecting the allocation made by the office of the Permanent Secretary and signed by the PS himself.
“In the said letter, the Federal Government was given seven days to explain the criteria for the said allocation and do the needful. The deadline has elapsed without any response from the Federal Government of Nigeria.
“In view of the above therefore, you are hereby directed to resume the suspended indefinite strike action as from 12 midnight, Sunday, 3rd December, 2017.
“During this period, the strike shall be total and comprehensive.”
When contacted for reaction to the claims by the union that they were cheated in the disbursement of the allocation, the ASUU President, Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi, said he was on the road and requested our correspondent to call back later.

The Nigerian former footballer joined the club in 2007 with Avram Grant as an opposition scout and assistant first-team coach under Carlo Ancelotti.
Since 2011, he has held the role of technical director, which has handed him the responsibility of signing players and control of the Blues' vast youth network. The 52-year-old was the man who brought Eden Hazard to the club, as well as Thibaut Courtois, Cesar Azpilicueta , Romelu Lukaku and
Kevin De Bruyne .
Some have suggested that Emenalo's resignation is a win for Antonio Conte , who fought to have the players he wanted signed for the club in the summer. However, Emenalo continued to support the man he hired in the summer of 2016, and the 10th manager he worked with at the club.

Education / ASUU Strike by bravoluv83(m): 1:58pm On Nov 07, 2017
Fresh strike may be in the offing across Nigeria Universities as the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) holds its National Executive Council (NEC) meeting this week.
The NEC, which is the highest decision making body of the union, is to review Federal government’s implementation of the Memorandum of Action (MoA) it signed with the union before it suspended its strike a few months ago.
Both government and ASUU had agreed to an MoA which stipulated that the federal government would have implemented its agreed contents latest by October, 2017.
The federal government according to investigation, however, was yet to implement issuance of license for the registration of Nigerian University Pension Company (NUPEMCO) which it promised to do within two weeks of strike suspension.
The FG is also defaulting in payment of ‘Earned Academic Allowances and revatilisation funds’ for public universities.
Some lecturers at the University of Ibadan, who spoke with journalists on the condition of anormnity at the weekend noted that it was unfortunate that the government had not paid as promised by end of October.
