Career / You Won't Get What You've Not Worked For. by Brazzaville(m): 8:09pm On Jan 19, 2019
Success is not an accident.

Failure is not a mistake.

Decide to work now so you can enjoy later.

Life won't give you what you want, it gives you what you've worked for, and if you haven't worked for anything then you deserve nothing.

If you want to be great in life, you must be ready to do great thing.

Let go of your past, so you can let in your bright future.

Career / "Most People" Motivational Article/video For The Minority by Brazzaville(m): 1:38pm On Jan 08, 2019
If you truly want more out of life, chances are you are not really going to fit in anywhere. I mean really fit, in because the majority of people settle for average and if you don’t drop down to their level, there’s going to be conflict. They won’t like the fact that you are committed to your dream because it reminds them that they gave up on theirs. One of the biggest reasons most people don’t follow through with their dream life is fear that they will be left out if they achieve it, this may be conscious or unconscious but most people give up not because they can’t make it, not because they aren’t capable but because; they are surrounded by people who have settled, people who don’t want to see you succeed because it will remind them that they didn’t which might lead them to start saying; you’ve changed since you became successful. Not knowing or understanding that your goal was always to change, to develop, to re-invent yourself, you will hear ridiculous comments like: “successful people are greedy” or “there is more to life than money”. Of course there’s more to life than money, there’s also more to life than struggling to pay bills and put food on the table. So much negativity towards the successful! And the sad part is they will never be successful with this mentality.
You ask 99% of successful people how they achieved their dream life? I can assure you the story will be the same; they worked harder than the majority, they kept going when the majority gave up, they suffered through failure but made sure that was not the end, rather a lesson learned. They went through hell but always focused on the end goal. Sadly; most people would rather argue for their limitations than know there are no limitations, most people would rather hate on the successful than learn from them or model them, most people would rather pick up a beer rather than a book and start complaining that they are in a dead end job or complain that they got laid off from their job. But if they made the right decision earlier on! They wouldn’t have to clean up their bad decisions later on!
Most people would rather party now and suffer later; maybe that’s why most people are not where they want to be, maybe that’s why most people complain, maybe that’s why most people live with regrets, all because they refuse to leave their comfort zone which is their worst enemy. If you are the most people, commit right now to becoming the minority, set your goals right now, don’t you waste another moment of your life, find a mentor in a book or a person and learn from them; model them, develop your mind, re-invest your, make a commitment to be different, make a commitment to never give up on your goals (your dream) .
Your future self is begging you to make that commitment now, your future self is begging you to stick it out.

It all happened on a Monday morning while Susan was cooking. A call came in from the village, so she rushed to pick it up knowing that her mother was just recovering from an illness and then with the phone pinned to her ear, she ran back to continue her cooking. In less than 5 minutes after she went back to the kitchen, the cooking gas exploded bringing gradually to ashes the mansion she spent her resources building. It spread faster than expected cause there were lots of unwanted combustibles aiding the widespread of the fire. She did her best to reach out for the fire extinguisher despite the fact that she was on fire but it wasn't sufficient enough to put out the fire. To worsen the case, her neighbors were helpless about it & then the inefficiency of Nigerian Fire Service. Finally when they got there the mansion was really getting burnt down faster than usual and they had to do all they could to stop the fire from spreading further than it already has.
After much struggle, the smoke was so much that it looked like the fire was put out already. While the Fire Fighters were mounting their truck to go after having seemingly put out the fire, the little fire which wasn't noticed cause of the thickness of the smoke came in contact with a combustible and then it continued from where it stopped. It was only then the fire fighters knew that their work wasn't yet completely done. They had to mount down from their truck and complete their work.
This can be likened to how we, Christians feel so comfortable in life that when we see challenges, we mishandle them and they become larger than it was meant to be and they also stay longer than expected. Most times cause of how poorly we managed the challenges, they come in contact with combustibles which multiply the dangerous effect of the challenges we face. Things that should have no contact with what we are facing end up doing so cause we don't let go and let God.
Another thing is that we don't equip ourselves so that when we are faced with some challenges, we'll have the right mechanism to face it due to our preparation. Most times, we 'Christians' pray for God to see us through our challenges but when God is still in the process of answering our prayers, by showing us changes that should take place in minor places first before the major one, we stop praying about it assuming that God has answered us therefore we need to stop putting much effort to effect the change we wish to see concerning such challenges. We hand over everything to God forgetting that we have a role to play.
Learn to Let Go & Let God!
Don't forget that you need to be able to discern when you have a role to play and when you should let God do Him.

Literature / The Biggest Dream Killers. by Brazzaville(m): 9:58am On Nov 08, 2018
Success is not an accident. Failure is not a mistake. “Anyone who has reached any great heights in life did so because they did things differently to the majority.” The majority do not reach any great height because they do things the same as everyone else. “As a society we are conditioned to believe in what we see and experience around us the most. We are conditioned to believe in the opinions and limitations of those closest to us.” It’s time to break the mold, it’s time to avoid the biggest dreams killers and begin learning how to make our dreams our reality.
Here are the 7 biggest dream killers you should avoid at all cost.
The fear of failure: This is perhaps the biggest dream killer of all. Ironically, those who don’t take action because of fear of failure, fail by default because they are living a life they do not want to live, a life less than their potential. Failure is nothing compared with the feeling of regret. Worst case scenario, you learn a big lesson and grow from the experience. Keep going until you achieve and grow.
The fear of success: Most people don’t reach the height they know they are capable of because of the fear that they will be left out if they achieve it. If no one around you has achieved at high level, there may be a fear of not fit in with the crowd. Success can be a lonely road; courage is often needed to endure the judgment and feeling of not fitting in.

Lack of work ethnic: If you aren’t prepared to work for your dream, you will never live it. Nothing worthwhile in this world will come without big effort. Are you willing to put the work required to get to your dreams?
Excuses: You can have results or excuses, but you can’t have both. Successful people take ownership of their success and their failures. If it doesn’t work out, ask yourself how you can do it better next time. If it doesn’t work out, don’t give up, Work Harder. Try a different approach, do whatever it takes to get to your destination.
Toxic Influences:
Family, friends they all mean well but often they can impose their perceived limitations on you. Just because they couldn’t do it doesn’t mean you can’t. Just because no one in the family has been successful before, doesn’t mean you can’t be the first. Respect everyone’s opinion but believe in God because his thought towards you are the thoughts of good and not of evil to give you an expected end.
Lack of discipline: Discipline and consistency are traits of winners and all successful people. Every-now-and-then is not good enough. You must be committed to work on your dreams and goals every single day and make it more important than all those insignificant things that hold you back from success.
Unwilling to learn and grow: successful people all have one thing in common: they are life time learners:- as warren buffet once said, “The more you learn the more you earn.” Never stop educating yourself on a range of topics, developing your skills and growing into the person you know you can become.
Remember: If you want success you can have it, but it comes with a price. Learn and model the most successful people you resonate with. Avoid the people you least want to be like and avoid doing things they do.

Career / Focus On Your Future Motivational Speech by Brazzaville(m): 11:08am On Oct 31, 2018
Leave the past behind so you can focus on your future, die to the past now so you can live fully. You must let go of your past pains, your struggles and your past stories. Not because it wasn’t important but because your future and your life is more important. You can’t change yesterday but I believe you can reposition yourself for a better tomorrow, grudges will never get you where you want to be in life, and holding on to something you can’t change is insanity.
I could have focused on all that was wrong with my life, I could have played the victim’s card, I had every right to curse the world; for putting me in this position, for placing me in this neighborhood. Why should I rough it out and others live in luxury? Why should I suffer when others live free? Why should I be homeless while others take for granted the roofs over their heads? But I believe I needed to see all of that, to go through all of that so as to become the human I am today. I chose not to be defined by my circumstances; but to be defined by my attitude towards beating my circumstances, to be defined by my abilities; to rise above generational limitations and lack, to rise above lack of ambition around me, to rise above all negativities.
I believe only God gives us; what we have, the strength to overcome and also what we need to become strong. The pain I have been through, the struggles of life I have been through was all needed for me to be here today. “You can’t feel for others at rock-bottom if you haven’t been there yourself, you can’t have courage if you haven’t had to fight through your fears, you can’t have strength if you haven’t had to get up time and time again when life beats you down, you can’t have compassion without suffering, you can’t help others if you haven’t felt helpless”. I chose to leave my past behind, I decided my future was more important; than holding on, than saying “Why Me” “I can’t move on” “I Am tired of Life” instead I said “Try me” “I Am Limitless” “I Can” “I Am Powerful”
Life tested me and I won, life will be back, life will test me again but I now know I have the strength to overcome. You have the strength to overcome, you cannot write the next chapter of your life if you keep re-reading the first one; the first one is not good compared to the rest. Don’t let others hold the pen, don’t let your past publish your book, this is your story; be brave in writing your story, dream big, “know you are strong, so much stronger than you give yourself credit for”. Leave the past behind, leave the darkness of your past behind so you can focus on letting in the light of your future, your very bright future.
DEAR PAST, THANK YOU FOR THE LESSONS AND ALSO THANK YOU FOR MAKING ME WHO I AM TODAY.

Literature / You Too Can Become A Successful Entrepreneur by Brazzaville(m): 3:23pm On Sep 20, 2018
Some of the world’s most famous and profitable businesses were started by students. So why not be one of them and start your own? Microsoft began in Bill Gate’s Harvard dorm room. Mark Zuckerberg started Facebook as a 19-year-old Harvard sophomore. Google got its starts on the Stanford Campus as the computer science project of doctoral students Sergey Brin and Larry Page, and thousands of other students companies thrive in every industry. Even if you’re not aiming to be another Bill Gates-maybe you just want to earn some extra cash with a summer landscaping business, mini-importation and drop-shipping business- you’ll have to navigate some unique challenges as a young entrepreneur testing the business waters.
HERE ARE 7 TIPS FOR YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS.
1. DO WHAT YOU LOVE: All successful teen businesses have one factor common: their owners love what they do. So choose a line of business that aligns with your interests no matter what they are.
2. KNOW WHAT YOU WANT: Are you willing to leave school if your business takes off? Or do you envision your business as a side project? Being able to answer questions like these will help you organize your time and priorities.
3. BE RADICAL: In your late teens and early 20s, your thinking is fresh, original and full of energy. Don’t be afraid to try something no one’s ever done, create an off the wall product or shake up an existing market by changing factors (such as a service or delivery model) those established companies take for granted.
4. FOLLOW THE RULES: Being a young entrepreneur doesn’t exempt you from registering your business, keeping records and paying taxes. Following these simple rules now will save you from legal and administrative headaches later.
5. MANAGE YOUR TIME: Running a business while going to school is stressful and difficult. Understand what is required of you in your separate roles as a student and a business owner, and employ planning and organizational tools- for example, a well maintained appointment book, Microsoft outlook or an online time/project management system to make most of your valuable time.
6. USE SCHOOL RESOURCES: Being a student isn’t a handicap in business; on the contrary, it can be an advantage. Your campus offers free computers and internet connectivity, a host of potential employees and /or volunteers and the expertise of professors who would be happy to share their knowledge and experience with you. You’re literally surrounded by people and resources, so make the most of your situation.
FIND A MENTOR: Buddy up with a local entrepreneur or business leader with record of achievement. Your mentor will help you understand the risks and challenges of business, provide a sounding board for your ideas and help you find investors for your company.

Literature / Depression - This Not The End by Brazzaville(m): 7:35pm On Sep 06, 2018
I want you to know that no matter where you are in life, no matter how low you have sunk, no matter how big your situation, no matter what you are going through; this is not the end, this is never the end of your story and this is not the final chapter of your life. I know it may be hard right now, but if you just hang in there, stay with me for a little while, you will find that this tough moment will pass and if you are committed to using this thing, using it to build your character, finding a greater meaning for the pain. You will find that in time, you can turn your life around and help others who are going through the same struggle.
The world right now is the middle of a mental health crisis. It is estimated that almost half the population suffers from depression at some stage throughout their life, rather than join the queue, it’s important that we learn why we get down and how we can change it because believe it or not, we created our own negative feelings and we can also make sure that we turn our life around and be a positive change for others. The reason anyone gets depressed always comes down to the consistent thought we think and the consistent believes we hold, the point here is that anyone that is depressed is so because there is an external factor that get materialized in their life, they have lost something outside of their control or don’t have something that is out of their control.
In school we are taught how to get a job, when no one teaches us how to live in a state of happiness, no one teaches us how important our conscious and unconscious thought and associations are. Does our happiness not worth more than the job? Yes it is. And before you say happiness won’t pay my bills, happiness will pay your bills, when you realize you will be ten times more energized, focused and take positive actions in your life when you first chose to develop yourself as a priority and then get to top of the world. I have seen some people who many will consider to have it all in their life because they thought they were not good enough, a thought, a believe within them told them that they were not worthy. This people that many would jealous of, many envious off where not good enough. You must value yourself enough, to take the time every single day to work on you, to engage in something that ensures you are a positive influence on the world, but that doesn’t mean life will certainly be perfect, the same life challenges will show up but if your mind is strong, if your mind is at peace then your reactions to the challenges in times will be very different, your reactions will be “how can I make this work” not “ why is this happening to me ” and then others will look to you not with pain but with hope because your strength will become their strength, their hope, you can really be that powerful. You can ditch the victim’s story; you can leave the pain behind and focus on how you will react next, how you will react positively or you can read to get your mind in a positive place. Take steps to ensure you will be in a better position next time and soon you will be in top of the stair case, don’t give up, you are worthy, you are more than worthy, you deserve to experience how great life can be and you owe to the world; to be that positive to others, to inspire others who will look to you and say “he did it” “she did it” and “I can do it too”
If you are suffering from depression please seek help.
Talk to someone.
Commit to work on yourself.
Life can be great, you can happy.
You are worthy.

If you speak negativity into your life, negativity will show up in your life. What you speak, believe and feel determines what you will become. Thoughts turn into beliefs, and belief controls your life.
Find something that matters to you more than your excuses, find something that matters to you and you won't procrastinate.
