Asides from bread and tea, many Nigerian families use cereals as breakfast almost every morning, be it oats, cornflakes or Golden morn, different cereals are eaten in numbers as the first food of the day. Many people think it unhealthy to eat cereals, they believe it categorizes as junk so if it's not a food that's seriously cooked they think it not good enough while others think it's a diet for the rich or "ajebos" . Well, I'm here to tell you that that's just a bias reasoning with no basis because most of these cereals are actually cheap to buy and it doesn't cost much to get a decent breakfast, plus the best cereals are very high in fiber and low in sugar so that helps digestion greatly through out the day. I am no doctor, but I know that having cereal as breakfast has it's many advantages, from being easy to access to being healthy and easy to make, it's just a good go. Lastly, constant promos that come up like the Golden morn heritage promo where one can win a million naira just by submitting 2 empty sachets are enough to keep me having cereals as breakfast, atleast that way I get to eat and win. . We are all different sha so I'd like to know what you guys think about having cereals for breakfast.
