Nop, you will be told the exact day and the session (that is the time for the exam because candidates will be grouped into sessions like it is done in JAMB)

Exams have been scheduled for 11th to 13th November, 2021.
Candidates are to receive their personal date and sessions for their exam.
However, you are advised to log in frequently for your own exam date and session should in case they fail to communicate you through SMS and email or should in case these media fails so that you won't be taken unaware.

A colleague at work experienced same yesterday. I think her own case is because she bears a Muslim name which may suggest that she is not a Deltan.

I don't know what could be the cause.
But did you apply for teaching position or non-teaching position?

I applied as a Workshop/Laboratory attendant as an HND holder in Science Lab Tech. Is the qualification equal to the position I applied for? Can that serve as a reason for not being shortlisted?

Those that applied for non-teaching positions have not been shortlisted. The shortlisted candidates are the ones that will write CBT.
The non-teaching candidates won't write CBT rather they will be invited for oral interview in due time.

The Delta State Ministry of Technical Education has shortlisted names of qualified candidates for the CBT for 2021 Teacher Recruitment Exercise into the State Technical Colleges.
See the steps to check below;
1. Log in to
technicaleducation.deltastate.gov.ng
2. Click on E-Recruitment but if you are accessing the site with a phone, click on menu(the 3 strokes at the top left hand corner of the home page) and then click on E-Recruit.
3. Enter the user id and password that was sent to your phone number on the day of registration and log in to your dashboard.
4. When you log in, look out for "INTERVIEW SCHEDULE & SCORES FOR QUALIFIED APPLICANTS ONLY". (If you are using a phone, you will find it at the downpage of your dashboard, towards the end of the page but if you are using a computer, it is at the top right hand corner of the desktop.
5. Once you click on the link, you will see your name and other details in a table but if you are not shortlisted, the table will be blank.

The Delta State Ministry of Technical Education invites suitably qualified Nigerian graduates particularly Deltans to fill selected Academic and Non-Academic positions in the Delta State Technical Colleges.

APPLICATION GUIDELINE
1. a). Go to the official website of the Delta State Ministry of Technical Education:

and select E-Recruitment.

1. b). Click on the 'START APPLICATION' button on the bottom of the page.

2. You would be transferred to the Bio-Data page where you are required to fill in your personal details.

3. When completing the Bio-Data page ensure that your MOBILE NUMBER and EMAIL address are accurate, functional and accessible to you as your UserID and Password would be sent through them.

4. You are enjoined to truthfully state any Disability or Special Needs you may have to enable adequate provision to be made for you through-out the recruitment process.

5. Please ensure to upload a clear and recent Passport Photograph.

6. When you are done filling the Bio-Data Page Click on the 'SAVE and CONTINUE' button.

7. On successful submission of your BIO-DATA an SMS and an EMAIL - containing your UserID and PASSWORD, would be sent to you (PLEASE NOTE: Your UserID and PASSWORD will also be DISPLAYED under the registration status on the application page). Should you fail to get both the Email and SMS notification after completing the registration process kindly send an email to: jobs@moterecruitmentdelta.net – stating your telephone number in the mail.

8. On successful completion and submission of the Bio-Data you would be transferred to the Academic Qualification page. Here you are required to state your Primary(Basic), Secondary(Post-Primary) and Tertiary education qualification. Please note the following:

a. For the Primary and Secondary Qualifications; should you have attended more than one school at any of the levels, simply state the school from which
you acquired the Certificate, you are stating on this Application.

b. For the Tertiary Education Qualification, you are expected to state ONLY the FIRST DEGREE Tertiary education qualification you possess.
Click on the 'ADD TERTIARY EDUCATION' button, the qualification would appear in the panel below. When you are done with this , Click the NEXT
button to submit and proceed.

9. After the Qualifications page, you are expected to state your NYSC status and select the POST APPLIED FOR . Please ensure that the Post Applied for is related to your Course of Study at First Degree Level. On completing the requirements on the page, Click on 'COMPLETE APPLICATION'.

10. When you Click on the Complete Application button, a summary of the details you entered in all the fields are displayed for you to Review before comfirmation.

11. Should you discover that you have made any mistakes while completing the Application, Click on Save & Exit. Log In using your UserID and password to effect corrections and save.

12. After the submission of your Application, you have a grace period of 48 hours to revise any information you have submitted. This may be less should your submission be made with less than 24 hours to the closure of the Application process.

13. Applications that were started, but not duly completed before the closure of the application process would be discarded.

UNPRINTED CERTIFICATE FOR YEARS; LEGAL ADVICE NEEDED.

Good day my fellow nairaland members.

I am a graduate of Education and Mathematics from Federal College of Education (Technical), Asaba, Delta State which is in affiliation with University of Benin, Benin City.
The institution started running degree programme in the 2011/2012 academic year and graduated the first set which is the 2013/2014 set in January 2015 due to the prolonged 2014 ASUU and COEASU strike in 2014.


It may surprise you to know that all graduates of the school from 2014 till date do not have Certificates for collection in UNIBEN. The only thing issued to us is NOTIFICATION FOR FINAL DEGREE EXAMINATION RESULT.


Recently, we visited UNIBEN to take our degree certificates and we were told that our certificates has not been printed even when our names were amongst those in convocation list.


We have on several occasions and means channeled our complaints to our school in Asaba but didn't get any tangible response on the way forward. We have been inconvenienced greatly by this delay.


We have also written to the VC of the University of Benin through a recently launched hotline and she told us that she has scheduled a meeting between UNIBEN and Federal College of Education (Technical), Asaba but she has since over two weeks of writing to her failed to give us feedback even after writing a reminder to her.


We have learnt from a very reliable source that the two schools agreed on a certain amount which Federal College of Education (Technical), Asaba will be remitting annually to UNIBEN when they signed the MOU that gave birth to this programme. However, Federal College of Education (Technical), Asaba has failed to remit the said amount since the beginning of the programme till date. This made UNIBEN to withhold the certificates of those graduating from Federal College of Education (Technical), Asaba.

It must be noted that we have paid all our fees to Federal College of Education (Technical), Asaba as charged without even complaining of the exorbitant cost when compared to what is obtainable in other federal schools but they have failed to fulfil their own part.
We are pained bitterly because we lose opportunities everyday, our parents now think that we never went to school.



On this note, we pray you to help us suggest the best legal way to approach this matter.
Although the cost of justice in the present Nigeria is expensive but we hope to sue the two schools to court.
Your assistance will be highly appreciated.

Leader Olumba Olumba Obu has overcomed the world and this year of Centenary is indeed, the year of The Lord, Olumba Olumba Obu. The most shocking discovery of the century is to find out that the O.O.O. signet is conspicuously inscribed at the Ecunumical Centre of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), situated at Abonima road, adjacent Silverbird, Port Harcourt, Rivers State of Nigeria. More so, the Chairman of CAN, Rivers State Chapter, His Eminence, Primate I. C. Anyanasikike has invited Brotherhood of the Cross and Star to be enlisted into CAN membership. This invitation and shocking discovery of the O.O.O. signet at their Secretariat was made during a courtesy call by the Centenary Torch Movement Team and the administration of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, River State
Soon after arrival, Pastor Chris Edward, Director Ecumenism & Interfaith, CAN, Rivers State Chapter welcomed the team to the Ecunumical Centre, Bishop Gershom, Christ Army Church (NHCAC), Rivers State Chapter; said the opening prayer and then Pastor Chris Edward, Director Ecumenism & Interfaith, CAN, Rivers State Chapter requested for the purpose of the visit.

In his Goodwill Message to the officials of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Christ Ambassador Samuel Otu Inok, Father's Rep., leader of the delegation and head of Centenary Movement Team said, we feel highly honoured by the Almighty God to speak to our brothers in Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN). His words: "I know many had long condemned us. A lot of people see us as people who do not know God. Others say we have nothing in common with Our Lord Jesus Christ. Some think we are the Anti-Christ. Some people think of us as pagans. Some feel we do not worship the Almighty God. No fair hearing is given to Brotherhood of the Cross and Star to explain herself. But we are happy today to be given the rare privilege by the Rivers State Chapter of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) to hear us out. When we finish explaining ourselves, you can choose to believe or you carry out more investigation. We worship the Almighty God who sent His First Begotten Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ to save mankind. We endure all the vilification, calumny and persecutions, because this was the same thing done to Our Lord Jesus Christ.
He went on to say that Our Lord Jesus Christ was The Son of God. The Jews refused to believe in Him, because they accused Him of blasphemy that Him being Man referred to Himself as the Son of God. When He was on earth, the church did not believe in Him. Our Lord Jesus Christ completed His assignment, but before His departure promised to sent The Comforter. Christians are saying, Christ WILL come, Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is saying, Christ HAS come. Why can't we all meet to talk. The message of The Centenary Torch Movement Team is that Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, Founder and Sustainer of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star has come down to live with man. He has never attended any school nor attended any church. He physically manifested on earth December 30, 2018. Three (3) years prior to His birth, He revealed Himself to a Prophetess that His Name should be used for any spiritual work. Seven (7) years prior to 1918, His date of physical manifestation, there was no deaths nor births in His Hometown, Biakpan for the Seven (7) years period. This events were not by happenstance. Again three (3) days after His birth, His bathwater splashed on a blind woman and she instantly regained her sight. He did a lot of marvelous and miraculous works. His pronouncements are super efficacious. He is the biggest wonder that has happened to mankind in our generation. Concluding, I charge you to read Revelation 21: 3 which stated that God Himself will live on earth with men. He is Leader Olumba Olumba Obu.
Responding, Pastor Chris Edward, Director Ecumenism & Interfaith, CAN, Rivers State Chapter thanked God for the explanations given by The Father's Representative to properly informed CAN, Rivers State branch. He promised that the message of "Christ HAS come" shall be taken upstairs. CAN, according to him consists of 5 families: (1.) Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria (CSN); (2.) Christian Council of Nigeria (CCN) which comprises of 12 Churches; (3.) Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), which comprises of CPFN & PFN; (4.) Organization of African Instituted Churches (OAIC); (5.) ECWA, branch is not too many in Nigeria, but concentrates on evangelism. CAN cannot direct any religious body that is not her member. You must belong from any of the above mentioned families to be eligible for enlistment as a member of CAN. He said, the message of BCS was well received, but the point is that everyone has his own way of interpreting the Gospel. CAN preaches love and oneness. This is one area that the Moslem bit the Christians -oneness. Moslems agree in one voice. IF BCS SHOULD APPLY FOR MEMBERSHIP OF CAN THROUGH ANY OF THE FAMILIES, THEIR APPLICATION WILL BE GRANTED. We do not condemn people in CAN. If any of the family groups accept you as member, then of course, you can easily become a member of CAN. No church can come to CAN direct, you come as a delegate representing your family.
Subsequently, Bishop Gershom, Christ Army Church (NHCAC), Rivers State Chapter reiterated that CAN is an umbrella Body.
In his remarks, His Eminence, Primate I. C. Anyanasikike, the CAN Chairman, Rivers State Chapter said he was so glad that it is during his tenure as Chairman of CAN that Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, a religious groups rejected by many has come to visit CAN. He queried the rationale why BCS is so discriminated. He asked: Why is it that BCS is not a member of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN)? He noted that it is during his tenure BCS will be a member of CAN. His exact words "We have found the lost sheep. We have received your people today as hChristians" Continuing he said, we have different ways of worship. "I promise you today that if I am invited to any of your programmes, I will not fail to attend. Any of the religious bodies can host their programmes at the Ecunumical Centre. I will appeal to the Board of Directors to permit the use of the Ecunumical Centre by Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. I will also ensure that OAIC recognizes Brotherhood of the Cross and Star as a member of CAN. We the Christian Community in Rivers State will henceforth tell people that members of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star are serving God. I am happy that all these is happening during my tenure as CAN Chairman, a lost soul (BCS) is found. I am ready to receive your Founder anytime He comes, also anytime you invite CAN to your programmes, we will definitely attend", he assured. He prayed God to bless the programme in Rivers State and grant a safe journey.
The moderator, Christ Ambassador Ogar Osim, Centenary Publicity Coordinator and GM Starcross Television noted the need for an Interfaith Conference on the topical issue of "Christ WILL come" and "Christ HAS come". He promised His Eminence, Primate I. C. Anyanasikike, CAN Chairman, Rivers State Chapter a successful tenure as CAN Chairman.
Bishop Johnson Ikpeme moved a Vote of thanks and a closing prayer was said by the CAN Chairman, His Eminence, Primate I. C. Anyanasikike. The Interfaith discourse ended with a group photograph as a memorial. Another picture was taken of the O.O.O. mark inscribed at the front of the Ecunumical Centre of CAN.
