Why not use 0.001, except 0.10 is what u intend to use on live

Of course would use lower lot when trading live but just want to see how much 0.1 would throw me off balance if I should it during live trade. So lower lot is welcome but if the precision entry-level can be maintained especially from H1 upward the reward is great with lower risk SL.

Look the TP2 as reached.

3 separates BB. Use for TP and possible retracement.

Look at updated chart now. The price has reached the outer bb in red(which would have been my 3 TP) acting as resistance. Also you can see little reaction when price reached blue and green bb that's second TP.

Don't mind my chart. I used primarily a custom indicators but can't import that into mobile mt4, so this just to give me rough idea of the state of the market.

One can safely use 0.1 but with strict SL rule.

No doubt is for big boys. I will need the next 6 months to study this monster if I would trade it live!

As much as hate 5%ers rule of SL when entering a trade, as I prefer dynamic SL. I knew the 5%ers rules are specifically meant for this type of asset, you cant survive in long run without adequately know what you are risking on any trade. And this one no be second guessing your setup you must be absolutely sure before delving in. This is just my first initial assessment and approach to be taken trading it.

And immediately I got in I knew you must as a matter of fact always spot your SL and must not enter but with slight just like 5%ers rule. And again if you gain certain pips in your favour you must always move to break even.

Thirdly you can never trade mean reversion or Contrarian strategy with this kind of asset but solid TREND following sytem.

You've said it all bro. You must stay discipline by fire by force when trading "monster" like us30. Infact it has forced me to always check all my parameters before entry because any wrong move Na serious beating be that, one will pay dearly for albeit painfully because market doesn't forgive.

Being consistent on your top position is another different ball game. Another lesson I have learned is not let your temporary success get into head - Hubris the result is that you will started feeling you can control the market anyhow before you know, market go humble you.

The best approach be Patient, Don't Over Trade/ or forced trades, and stay Focus! That would ultimately lead to slow steady consistent wins, that's exactly the approach I am focusing on now.

Don't stress yourself boss, experience is the best teacher. Before, I used to open like 3 to 4 position on US30 in the previous contest, nobody tell me when I see how my psychology and trade were all messed up, now to open more than one position at a time now they scare me like mad, except when absolutely sure and at that Max of 2 positions.

Though reducing the position in the next contest is a welcome development. The way and manner people will emerge after every contest either win or loss would go along way in making us BETTER trader going forward. I am really enjoying these contests, because I am becoming more refined and disciplined in my approach to trades now.

Attitude is very important in life. Some people have used their not too good behavior to send those that will lead them to the right direction away without knowing.

Since we started this contest, Two different people have reached out to me about partnering with one of the contestants here and he has not even win the contest yet but guess what? His manners on the thread discouraged them all. Two imagine. At different times. I have partnered with him in the past as well and he knows himself. And I gave a good recommendation and sincere description of how our partnership went in the past only for him to soil it by himself on this thread.


It is a contest of $10k today, you never can tell what it will be tomorrow. Plus my intent are to help those that have been able to understand the market and motivate others still struggling as well.
