Big boss please, while this account might be close for possible phase II account, can you please share more details about the trades journal? So that we can benefit more from it.

I mean the entry and exit point so that we can further get more insight the way you trade it. I can deduce from previous stats you use an average of 1.2 lot per trade and average tp 70pips.

If you don't mind sharing, I am just curious to gain more knowledge from your trades journal.

I feel like to share my little progress today, to whom much is given much is expected. I appreciate each and every one us who one way or the other has contributed massively to the progression of the thread. I bumped into this wonderful community January this yr , due to tedious nature of my work (Waiter ) I hardly participate to chip my inputs but I do well to read every page whenever I have free time at my work place. I got to know about trading competitions here which I have participated and failed many times ,but things turned around 3rd quarter of this year when I hit 40% on tft competition, I received the challenge account and passed the evaluation stages and got a payout laskweek. My current job pays me 30k as monthly salary, but I got a payout of $601k . It leaves me sober and emotional ,after 2yrs of working as a waiter I can't boast of 100k in my account but 10days of trading got me 700k. Lest I forget I got a mail this morning from alphacapital that my live funded account will be ready this week after passing the giveaway account. Glory be to God. Thanks all the bosses in the house, still remain BeginnerTrade.✌️

What an endless quest of 3 months and 2 weeks . $200k evaluation challenge passed, making it total of $350k for TFT account, it would have been a total allocation of $550k if MFF did not close, in all, all glory be to thy lord.. This account really stress me cuz of Max drawdown of 6%, was risking only 0.35%..

you can be the most talented trader on earth, but if you are greedy and not discipline, you are as good as a newbie. a Man who cannot say something and stick to his word is not ready to face life.

ladies and gentlemen, meet Realone, the most greedy and indisciplined trader in history of forex trading.. I resolved not to trade again after hitting 65%, but on waking up todays, I opened my chat and saw an almost perfect set up. I quickly made a calculation in my head that even do I lose 4% today I will still end up winning a cash price and a challenge account. that why not take the risk.. I ended up risking 4% of 165000 which is 6600. I thought even if I lose the trade I will end up at around 161k which is still a good position. but what o failed to understand is the DD calculation is based on the initial balance of the 100k, so the 65k profit I earned doesn't account.. that's how I ended up 6600 thinking it's 4% not knowing that everything is being calculated in respect to the initial balance, so that makes the 6600 risked above the 5000 daily DD.. after some few hours I placed the trade, decided to check the trade and I found out that I have breached the daily DD.. just like that.. all the hope all the dream everything was gone. I can only blame myself.. I doubt if I will ever be able to attain this fit coz this trauma Will remain on me for a very long time..

You have done nothing wrong brother. It's a mistake and only that you discover some new concept in a very hard way.

I believe firmly now that in every Calculated Risk there is UNFORSEEN RISK which we will not be aware of at time. That means even some calculated risk must be jettison sometimes for what is likely will be an obvious outcome (Greater Loss) this I have added into my trader dictionary.

November context is around the corner, get yourself together and aim even higher.

If I was a monthly trader using monthly ATR as mental stop loss (on eurusd ...that is about 400 pips) to enter my trades and risking 2 percent, I can't blow my acct and I don't need to set a stop loss

Funny enough, that acct may even become profitable faster than a day trader with strict stop loss.

Exactly boss. It's even much easier to trade higher time frame than lower but adrenaline to just been in trade na him dey "kill" must of use.

A very good call trade we don exit with few pips and only to open another trade and all the profit made gone , you enter DD join am lol.

Check out funded next previous winners they are mostly and last most first five you will notice a pattern in their passing. They will just open a trade and leave it to run for like 2-3 weeks and makes a killing profit. But we dey open and close everyday is affecting us badly.

PATIENCE to WAIT for such septup at higher tf and subsequent unfolded is major bane of our progress.

Actually I cannot afford it but because i didnt know what i will do with 50usd so I purchased em to give me 5kusd(delusion challenge).

Now i know the value of that 50k and d lessons learnt frm d challenges, i wld rather lose it to a broker, atleast someone salary is getting paid

Seems you're taking this personal. I mean me and the prop firm lol. Prop firm rules are very fantastic and really a blessing to many of us retail traders l, its make you a better fashion of yourself in the long run.

Take the restrictions boss infofirst introduce into competition. It has become my standard mm technique and I have never worry about mm again. My focus now is sticking to my strategy (discipline) and been PATIENT for A list setups to show up and trade it.

It's a process and we shall get there soon or later God willing.

No need to exit prop firm. Those that you see that are passing or getting payout have equally lost many challenges even funded account but refuse to quit. You can do better than what you're doing now.

Just like ebbs and flows will observe in our charts it happens to us all. There are moment you sync with mkt and make an insane profit like no tomorrow. Also there are moment that you wouldn't. Just relax, calm, refocus and launch again. You will even emerge better than before.

You can rebuild that your competition account again never loss hope, just DON'T rush, study where you're going wrong then correct it. It take self evaluation and introspection to achieve that. But majority of our problems are IMPATIENCE and INDISCIPLINE. I am still struggling with both.
