It can be painful lossing a funded account just like that when the hope are high, but I tell you you have done well, so don't be hard on yourself.

I watched a clip when Umar Ashraf bought his parents a house worth $4m, there was a scene there where he showed when he was struggling and have experience a loss, it was really a low point in his career but look what he has achieved today.... accruing over $15M over past 5 yrs on trading options.

So don't worry much we are all in he same boat and we shall insha Allah make it BIG! this year . Winners Never Quit. But on the side note, I dey gbadun your philosophical thoughts, it educative and refreshing.

Know exact amount you're willing to risk with SL and let the mkt breathe. Anything short of that FEAR will surely "kill" one before the mkt does.

The problem is always to have the courage to plunge into such trades. I always scare because it's normally appear to me as overbought or oversold trades perhaps may be due to lower TF mentality.

For those of us coming from the programming world, forex is like a blessing in disguise. Imagine planning to learn programming for 2years minimum without expectations of making one naira during that duration because we know the money will come after the knowledge. Even the money is in form of seeking employment where you can be sacked every now and then. No true freedom really, just employability sake.

As a programmer, our plan was to get a freelance job of just $1k at least per month and we would be fine. Imagine someone that's got the patience to learn something for 2years without plans of making money during the learning phase, and his expectations was even to make around $1k per month. Coming into forex with same mindset, tell me why he won't succeed?


To the people just coming in, there's too much money in FX for it to be easy for everyone. If you've been in this for years and still unprofitable, it's time you re-strategized. Whatever you've been doing is not working, tear it all down and start again. This time it will be easier as you've gained so much insights all these years.
By now you should know your best trading style, be it Scapling, Day-trading or Swinging.
Follow only those that trade like your intended method judiciously until it becomes second nature to you. It may take time, but it's definitely gonna worth it.

The plan is to become a trader, a profitable trader and not a chart architect.

I wish I had posted my US30 Long bias just 4hrs ago, but was too busy with traffic, see what she did just now I woke up. Traffic wan wound me today, almost every junction in lag is traffic; and my body forced me to sleep. I have no regret that I did not long US30 when I saw that 4hours ago - in fact, I made a post and included Brightfuture48 and also referenced the recent happenings here about some inactive traders here that come on board after many weeks of inactivity only when there is an opportunity to add fuel to a potential banter.

I cleared the post, did not post just to let peace reign; I ignored US30 long bias, and just after 4hrs now, US30 almost made 460 pips only today.

But anyways, here is my NEW bias: US30 Long just before the market closes - I sense a jump on Sunday market open (up or down, I can't tell)

It could be painful at times for such missed opportunity but the fact that one get the analysis right serve as solace. Knowing fully such or similar opportunity will present itself soon.

It's all about waiting for the right moment and strike HARDER!

Because yesterday I was somewhat blow out when I checked your gold trades on forex factory and it was just few pips to hit tp like less than 10pips also and it started retracing back to around 2007 before eventually took a last dip that hit your tp and since then the gold as been rising.

This is experience playing out, and when you're convince enough that there is no short cut. Is either you wait for the right time and strike or you unwittingly continue chasing the mkt while chopping koboko .

What boss GabsonFX2 is looking out for from my little understanding I gleaned from his posts is very simple but just too difficult for to follow. If you check out his chart well you gonna see the he's always looking atleast 2 bullish/bearish candle on D1 any addition would be confirmation provided atleast one of the last candle on W1 or MN1 corroborate. I tell you anything short of that boss would never take the trade. It a very strong trend following system. It uses a very wide sl that always practically impossible to hit except if the mkt has changed direction. You can also employ that too just to avoid been taking out always like your recent trades on oil and gold. Double your SL and reduce the lot by half, you will essentially be risking same amount and chance is that you will have more win rate.

Now the problem how many of us is using that chart(D,W,MN) for analysis and trade? The hasty nature of us won't allows. We always like to be in a trade.

Wow! Big Boss this is impressive but I don't understand why the stop loss is not move to break even with this massive profit.

In order to reduce/minimize risk, I would have expect with this 200+ pips gain almost twice the initial SL that the sl should be at break even.

Your trades are always on another level . Is there any rationale behind this? So that I can more about this sort of trade management technique.

I've got 5 accounts I'm really focusing on and ive got three more i just i will just be playing around.....

I remember at the start of last year i had zero account so this is progress and a plus....

Ive got four with fundednext
6k,15k, 25k and 200k

Ive got one with myfundedfx 10k

Two with the5ers 5k and 5k

And one with alphacapital 5k

You alone Donsheddy .... congratulations though but please don't bother accumulating more account, it will only add to distraction already at hand.

You need a thorough planning for these accounts, the pair to trade and type of strategy to employ (daily or swing). Remember you just need one to funded to start making things happen. Pls focus don't distract yourself any further.

Those trades were 0.4 lot each - silver (see attached). The lot you saw were closed trades, 5.4 total, 5.0 for usoil and 0.4 for silver. the way usoil lot is calculated is different from silver or gold and that is why you use 5.0 not 0.5

They're very funny don't want to use dirty word for them. The day they send me message to me that they will charge me for inactivity and clearing my few cent in the account, I bid them bye bye forever.

They're a bucket shop broker exhibiting their extortion motive at any slightest moment. They keep changing regulator here and there. No wonder they are behaving any what would their Mauritius regulator would do them.

Abeg withdraw the remaining dollars and boycott them.

Happy new year brothers. I just want to be a little blunt here. Before jumping on owning prop firms. Ask yourself ONE question, "am I good enough?"

Lotta people here are all engrossed on owning prop accounts, normal level. The main issue is, are you good enough to pass the phases and more importantly sustain it?

Calm down guys, forex is here forever. Stop rushing, and spend more time getting the grasp on it first. It's so easy and yet extremely difficult because of this eagerness, rush, enthusiastic behaviours of the average trader, which I see exhibited here on a daily, even hourly basis.

All most people need is just the understanding, patience and ordinary 5k prop account. And the sky will be your starting point. Calm down! Calm down! Calm down! Learn before you even start dreaming of earning. Some people have pending prop accounts they haven't passed, but one way or the other still hell bent on having more. That's stupidity.

If you are gonna get angry because of my post, please get angry because I'm tired of having last year repeat itself on this thread. Just admit you're not good enough, and go get more knowledge instead of trying to squeeze your way pass the phases instead of just going back to learn properly.

You only need one prop account to prove yourself, and not multiple. Go learn from the basis and practise more, and try saving $50 minimum along the way to purchase your account whilst learning.

Stop participating in competitions to earn prop accounts, they mess your trading psychology up more than help you. Competitions are for gamblers and not traders. You might be lucky to win one, but one thing in this business is, if you want to go far, luck is not enough.

You have to really know how to trade, and trading properly like a determined trader on a free monthly competition will never get you enough return to win you a free prop account. Reason is because you're competing with gamblers and not traders per se, they have nothing to lose, since next month is there[Bet9ja style].

I'm going incognito on this thread, it's a new year and one of my goals is to own a $100k personal account before the end of the year. All the best fam!

I noticed that many people that tried to pay yesterday have open invoices in their 5ers Tradehub. If you are in that category you can still get the 20k account

Login into the trade hub

Click on the three lines beside your name to show the various menus

Click on invoices

If you have pending invoices, click on the green box under actions to pay with your card

You get your account
