It's ironic how we perceive these oppressors as helping us when they open their borders with enticing visa schemes. They cleverly use us to develop their countries, and once they've achieved their goals, they tighten the restrictions on us with stricter visa requirements. They take the best of our talent to maintain their status as developed nations while draining the resources from so-called developing countries, ensuring they stay underdeveloped. I've been around for over 50 years, and I've never seen a developing country successfully transition to a developed country. It's quite disheartening! You captured the core of this issue so aptly. The entry requirement into most of these countries are designed to admit only the best. Depending on your migration route, you may never be able to remit any reasonable money to Nigeria in the first 2-3years. Meanwhile you’re there rendering essential services. The truth is that in an equitable world, most of these countries should be paying for migrations. I have a strong feeling that Nigeria graduates more doctors yearly than the UK or Canada does and most of these so called “half-baked doctors” find their way into these countries within three year. Yet no foreign universities have campuses in Nigeria. The countries that have low entry barriers are equally struggling economies like ours.

* I think DEAPCAP is for the patient ones.
* I've posted about it here a long time ago, maybe last year when the issue of Debt-to-Equity issue came up @1.69k per share.
* The management is still on it and the resolution passed already but we know how SEC used to drag and delay these things for long.
* You can keep eye on it to know when this will be approved and they'll be coming to market since you're not a long termer.

Will this news push pharma stocks?

It’s been happening quietly for sometime and it will get more pronounced. The process of accessing healthcare and getting well in most of these places is too slow. if the patient is stable, it not an emergency so you wait endlessly.
If Nigeria was more strategic and will leverage on her strength, it would have been an attractive destination for medical tourism. If you have been at the hospital some of these countries, you go just know say na wash, na just big buildings with plenty equipments and human beings as nurses.
To your question, I don’t see this impacting on the pharmaceutical companies financially in the short term though. Everybody Dey fear our drugs and the Indian variant ma get him own wahala.
