I'm not surprised at your stupidity though looking at someone like you. While I never denied owning the two account, it's pathetic to realize you cannot differentiate the meaning on each of the stories. To clarify you, the topics don't relate in anywhere and are different from each other, and never really geared at swindling anyone of his/her money here.

One talked about the fast changes in Nigerian economy and the other one talked about the ugly experience I had while working in a hotel.

A smart person would understand that the one about the economy was to express sadness about the frustrating economy while the other one was my personal experience at the hotel.

Ask yourself, can't one person genuinely come up with the two stories without any element of fraud in both?

I have been working recently at a small food startup that has been paying only 30k and very stressful work from 9-10pm. I had to quit the job in February this year after being held for failed customer transfer payments (during the cash crunch), which were deducted from my salary, and enduring maltreatment from my boss for too long. Since then till now, I haven't been able to get another job. Everything has been so dull for me. I applied to uniabuja this year with my jamb score of 263, but I 'mysteriously' wasn't admitted, even with the high confidence I had.
So since then I have been working from one construction site to another, doing manual labour jobs to sustain myself. I have also been on Alx software engineering program which I stopped and deferred because my laptop got damaged and couldn't afford data (as bad as that)
I had to stop working after one day in July when I had a sharp pain at my back (vertebrae area) and unable to lift anything heavy. I had to stop working that day and couldn't afford medical check up. I still feel pains when I lift heavy items on my head.
With the money I had, I set out to look for jobs, but exhausted the money I saved.
So now I want your help with money to repair my laptop (the screen and battery are damaged) which cost 25+8=33k. This is to make me continue in that alx swe program as priority, and to set up my online website for affiliate marketing. Then, I need some money to continue to seek job as a chef (transport especially). This is because I need to gain more experience, precisely as a barbeque chef, which I am good in doing, rather than just starting up my own grilling business (nor do I have money to set up such)

I saw a post on this forum which looks similar to mine and that inspired me into writing this to share with people how my boss (former) was abusing me.

I graduated from one of the courses in social science in one of the federal universities and have been job hunting to land a good job but to no avail.

Bills were piling up while I was going down economically. Out of hunger, lack and frustration, I settled to work as a barman in a hotel.

A week after resuming that work, the man that the hotel is leased out to started showing me his true colours. Nobody is above mistake in life. Even minor things that could have been settled without raising eyebrows, he would shout at me and abuse me right in front of customers. He would use derogatory words to describe me and say all sort of inhumane things to me, all to show that he's the boss.

Despite all that, I couldn't leave because I had no other job option at hand. For the 9 months I have worked in the place, these are the things I went through.

1. I have been verbally and physically abused by the said man. There is no kind of derogatory and inhumane word that man has not used on me and most times, right in the presence of customers and also when in the presence of the girls he brings to sleep with.

Note: this is how he behaves with all the staff, not only me.

2. He kicked me, slapped me, knocked my head, spat on me, yelled at me. Calling me a fool, an idiot, useless something etc, was no longer anything worrisome to me again because I got used to it.

3. Because of all these abuses, his friends who use to come there took advantage and started abusing me too. One slapped me the other day because I presented a bill he thought I surcharged him, which we later found out I didnt. I don't blame him actually.

4. You would work 2 months plus before you receive 1 month salary. For example, you would receive January salary between 10-15th of March.

5. Salary was N25,000 but I have never received that amount complete. He always look for something accuse me of in order to deduct our so called salary and pay less. There was a month I received N7000 as my salary.

6. Any customer that breaks a glass pays N1000 for it. When he first mentioned this in a meeting, we thought he was joking, but he was being serious. When he started deducting my salary for broken glasses, then I realized he was serious. I have never heard anything of such anywhere before. That a customer who breaks glass should pay N1000 for it.

What happened on the 23rd of May.
23rd of May was his birthday. He invited friends and celebrated. Right in his presence, one of the guests broke a glass. I'm the only one serving both the bar and guests in the room including food. So it was a very busy time for me. Just because I didn't sweep the broken glass immediately because I was busy serving people, as I wanted to pass, he shouted angrily at me, aimed me with the broken glass and broke my head. I was bleeding and I left the place to a pharmacy to treat the wound. Guess what? He was not even remorseful about it at all.

The following day I tendered a resignation letter with immediate effect. Obviously if I don't leave the place, the man may kill me or make me do something I will later regret.

Now pay me off, he's telling me I need to work again at least another one month for him to find a replacement, if I'm serious about receiving my outstanding salary or I should forget about it. Even at that, I know too well that he will pay me anything he likes, claiming glasses were broken, I did this and I did that. Presently he's looking for job seekers but nobody wants to work with such a crude person anymore. Even someone he sacked as usual over two months ago, he's not been able to replace till today.

Now I'm jobless, hungry and penniless.

I need advice on how to go about to collect my money from this man. I don't have strength for any fight with him. I just need my hard earned money but let it not be until another blood is spilled.

Story of a struggling Nigerian.

Around the mid-90s, I was a little child then still following my mother to the market. My mother was into buying and selling palm oil. I may not remember everything again but I can still remember vividly that before we returned home, she would buy 10 cups of Garri for N10. If it is 15 cups, it would be N15. 20 cups would go for N20. That's N1/cup. That was in stock to serve till the next market day.

As a son of a palm oil seller, against all odds, I have strived to attend education up to tertiary level only to come back and be hit with unemployment, in an economy with throat-cutting inflation. That same Garri that was N1/cup, the attached photo is 6 cups for N500. This is not even enough for one mouth not to talk of several mouths. How did Nigeria become this expensive and difficult for average citizens to survive amidst massive unemployment/underemployment?

The recent removal of fuel subsidy has even worsened the whole situation, making prices of goods and services beyond the reach of the common citizens.

"Can the poor breathe please?"

I am an applicant with mouths to feed, finding it difficult to survive each day. And as a Nigerian living in Nigeria, can I at least breathe until I get a job or find capital to start a business and things become better?

Undoubtedly, millions of Nigerians are in my shoes, and even worst. This is evident in the Nigerian streets.

Yahoo, kidnapping, money rituals, etc are not meant for everybody but unfortunately, the youth are being pushed into it due to the state of the economy. Note: I'm not in any way in support of the aforementioned.

In Tinubu's voice, I would say, please,

"LET THE POOR BREATH".
"DON'T SUFFOCATE THEM".

And on behalf of unemployed Nigerian youths, WE WANT TO BREATHE. DO WELL TO HELP THE UNEMPLOYED WITH A JOB AND ANY OTHER SUPPORT.
