There are three sides to it. One of them is the one way thingy.

I've discovered that when gold rallies, it makes a min of 30pips to one side and 0-27pips to another.

So I can do a buy and sell and still get same results.

There are basically two types of tongues. The tongues of men, and that of the Angels(heavenly)

The former can be written of course since it's understood by men. The latter is an encrypted conversation that only God deciphers.

If you are conversant with the modern-day gospel music industry, you would have noticed a sudden surge of unknown tongues in many gospel songs from gospel artists of mostly black descent. This sudden development in my opinion is worthy of serious interrogation as the Bible says that we should test all spirits so as know which is of God [1 John 4:1].

The gospel songs I knew while growing up emphasized godly living using language(s) that can be understood. The hymns for example are written in plain language(s) and one can attest to the fact that those songs are divinely inspired and spirit-filled. Meanwhile, the present crops of gospel music raving the moment are mostly incorporated with unknown tongues and spiritual chants that can not be understood by anyone and yet we have not found a single interpreter to interpret the tongues in these popular songs. I believe that in itself negates the fundamental injunction stated by Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 14:27.

I have been to megachurches in several regions of Nigeria where I have heard worship leaders repeating the same tongues in these popular gospel records verbatim and I get confused each time. Damn! Something is wrong somewhere. It's almost impossible to hear a gospel record these days without hearing an unknown tongue in it. Could that be the latest marketing strategy to sell gospel records?

Yes! I believe in tongues but I also believe that not all spirit-filled Christians must speak in tongues. Some operate in other gifts like prophecy, Discernment, word of knowledge, words of wisdom, walking of miracles e.t.c [1 Corinthians 12:4-11]. it is the spirit that distributes these gifts but I wonder while the present church places much emphasis on tongues. Well, maybe that's because tongues are the easiest to fake. Maybe I said.

Now to my honest questions:

1. If speaking in tongues only edifies the one who speaks it and not the body of Christ as it is in 1 Corinthians 14:4, why will any gospel musician incorporate an unknown tongue in his or her song lyrics for the body of Christ?

2. Where exactly is it written in the Bible that Christians should sing in tongues? Is there anywhere in the Bible the Apostles did? I know pentecostal christians will mention 1 Corinthians 14:15 but is that what Apostle Paul was really saying in that passage?

3. Why were the ancient gospel songs not incorporated with unknown tongues as we have now? Could it be that modern Christian worship has been hijacked by strange spirits?

Above are my reservations about the sudden proliferation of unknown tongues in modern gospel music. I will appreciate answers with biblical reference(s) to my questions in the comment section.

If you can speak a language, why can't you sing with it?
I think your question should be IF the understand the Bible standpoint on speaking/singing in tongues.

1 Corinthians 14:27-28 (NIV)
If anyone speaks in a tongue, two or at the most three should speak, one at a time, and someone must interpret. If there is no interpreter, the speaker should keep quiet in the church and speak to himself and to God.

Now, the real question is, is anyone able to interpret what these artists sing? But even at that; how can one repeat the tongues(embedded message) in a song they don't know? Because they could be demonic tongues.

I've had testimonies of people who do not know a certain language they spoke under the influence of the Holy Spirit but there was someone who could interpret.

Refer to Pentecost; the fact that some mocked the disciples and thought they were drunk (Acts 2:12-13), suggests that the gift of interpretation was not given to all present.

The evidence seems to suggest that the disciples were all able to speak in tongues, but the Holy Spirit was giving particular individuals the gift of interpretation. So that, “each one in the crowd stood in amazement as they heard the disciples speaking in his own native language.”

I Corinthians 14 : 2-4

He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church.

Prophecies can be given in tongues (of men) and it is the Holy Spirit that gives interpretation. If no one has come out to say, this is the message this gospel art is passing. Therefore, those supposed tongues beyond human interpretation are for God and should be done in secret.

Differences between Angelic tongues and demonic tongues

1. Repetitions
God hates repetitions for He is not deaf (Matthew 6) and when speaking in Angelic tongues you cannot speak in repetitions
Demonic tongues are full of repetitions and chantings

2. Spoken publicly
Angelic tongues are for you to speak secretly only to God
Demonic tongues are publicly used for fame, pride, prestige, envy, show-off, boasting, etc

3. Not fluent and with flaws
In the same manner you speak tongues of men fluently and flawlessly, so do you speak angelic tongues under the Holy Spirit, but this is not so with demonic tongues.
Demonic tongues are not fluent, full of repetitions, same words, same sentences and full of flaws

4. Spoken by people with no fruits of the Holy Spirit at all
Angelic tongues are spoken by those in Jesus, Baptized with the Holy Spirit, thus fruits of the Holy Spirit are manifested in them

Demonic tongues are spoken by those without the fruits of the Holy Spirit, the wicked, blasphemous, hypocrites, those who deny the Power and fight it, godliness with no power, etc.

When indeed you have the Holy Spirit dwelling in you, you can identify a demonic tongue from miles away
What is spoken in majority of churches today in the name of speaking in tongues is demonic tongues

Unless a person is delivered, many speaking in demonic tongues cannot know its demonic – a prisoner knows no freedom
